My Windows 7 boot normal and after Windows Starting logo appear, blue screen appear quickly so much that I can't see what's message and restart. I tried repaid and fixmbr and fixboot, no way.

The logo gets smaller and larger. I've been told it might be something with the RAM, but tested it out and that's not the problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm not 100% sure if this is even the right place to post this, so sorry if it's in the wrong forum. I have a Asus N53S laptop runnin windows 7 32 bit and I am having some trouble with it. This will probably be a large post so bear with me, the first problem I started having was blue screens on startup. I was able to fix the computer by running Startup repair a few times (tool about 3-4 hours) after that it worked for a day but the next day when I turned on the computer it froze and the music that was playing turned into a loud droning noise. After that I ran the startup repair again it did not work so I did a system restore, it seemed to fix the problem but sadly on startup I started getting blue screens again and this time neither startup repair nor system restore would work (I get a message saying there was a unexpected error: the system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002) please close system restore and try again) I re open system restore 5 times and I get the same message.I restart my computer , spam f8 and choose the use last known good configuration. After I restore everything to factory settings and finish installing my steam games and other files I Ty restarting the computer to see if it fixed the problem. It seemed to have worked however that night there was a particularly large windows update (90 or so a one time) I clicked shutdown and let it finish the updates while I went to sleep. The next morning I wake up and turn on the computer it finishes syncing the updates then stays at the starting windows screen ( the logo would not show up just those words and a black screen. After it sat like that for 10 minutes or so I hold the power button and try again ,this time it did the same thing but only for a few seconds and it ran startup repair itself , startup repair could not fix the problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday I got this virus, I went and bought trend micro titanium and cleaned it up (was using a free30 day trial of something else) but I'm still having a problem. Whenever I go to shut down or restart my computer, it starts doing it like normal, but right at the end I get this blue screen with a bunch of messages written, it last about 5 seconds while a countdown happens at the bottom of the screen, then it restarts (even if I went Shutdown).
Sometimes minutes after I log back into the user, the blue screen comes up out of nowhere, does it's 5 second odd countdown and restarts. I should get minidump files. The countdown at the bottom of the blue screen is called "crash dump" or something like that. With the virus whenever I tried to open an internet explorer or google chrome window, all that would come up was "win 7 home security", I'm not getting that anymore though after doing the full scan with trend.
Additional info: I have windows 7, my pc is a HP Pavilion laptop, model number is DV6 - 2144TX
I've had my computer for about 2 months now. Running windows 7 premium and recently when I boot up my computer, after it displays the bios menu, it skips the windows logo screen and goes straight to the welcome screen. I haven't noticed any issues other then this however I did notice strange noises when I booted up and first noticed the logo was missing. I've checked the menus and different options to turn off the logo but there all set to display it. I ran the system file checker and that came back clean as well.
Could it be a gpu issue or a motherboard issue? I did install skyrim recently and it reinstalled directx11 and made a new microsoft c++ file. I am thinking that could be it too. other then that im pretty much out of ideas. there was a few other programs I installed too. evga precision, fraps, nvidia system tools, nvidia system monitor. I restored my system to a point before installing these programs so it cant be those but it hought id add em to the list anyway just to be safe. I didn't however restore to before getting the new C++ file
I recently built a new setup using two 350GB Western Digital SATA hard drives. They are raided and until today I've had no trouble with the computer at all. When turning my computer on it loads to the Windows logo (the pulsing coloured "squares" ) and after 10 seconds or so it reboots. When booting up it detects my raided drive however when I insert the Windows 7 cd to enter the repair menu it doesn't see the drive. What I mean is on the screen where you choose the OS to repair, it does not appear. It DOES appear, however, after inserting a USB device with my raid drivers on it and then locating them first. The trouble is, the first time I did this it detected my 700GB raid drive (or approx 630GB space). The second time, however, it only detected my old 200GB drive which I store music on. After switching to different SATA ports as suggested by another post I found on the net, I then encountered a 0xc000000F error which reads "0xc0000000f. Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible". I tried doing a MBR repair but I don't think it worked.

Recently, abut 4-5 times a week, my computer will hang at the Windws 7 logo screen. the part where the logo glows but it stops there. I tried the startup repair after I forceshut the computer, but no results.
I tried sfc / scannow but there's nothing wrong. I read that doing chkdsk on a SSD has no effect right ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to flash drive on another computer it worked fine, but on my desktop it will not..If i turn my dektop on without the flash drive it comes up and says Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.If i insert the flash drive it freezes..If i start the computer with the flash drive in, it wont even get to the screen it freezes at the screen that tells me to press f12 for this, esc for that etc etc.This person has the same problem..And I cant boot from my origonal Hard drive because I believe its gone bad, If i start it with that hard drive it says Reboot and select proper boot device, its like it doesnt even recognize it, which im guessing means its gone bad.. But it wont freeze with that hard drive, but I also cant do anything

It would operate fine for a while, before just seizing up almost completely. That went on for quite a long while, possible four or five months. Then things got worse.A few days ago, I noticed that it said that it had a hard-drive malfunction upon start-up, so it wouldn't let me boot the machine. So, I created a windows recovery disk off of another computer and tried that. That allowed access to the Windows Log-in screen and once beyond that, windows would operate as usual.But some of the times not even the start-up disk will get you in the front door it seems. They've tried to create a windows back-up file on an old external drive we had around, but it said there wasn't enough room. So after purchasing a brand new external hard-drive, they instead got the message "could not complete", again, sadly I wasn't there to see if there was more to it than that.So this begs the question, what exactly is wrong here - and more so, can it be fixed?I don't mind spending some time on it, I don't. I just need to know what to do really. I'm not sure if it is a virus that has gotten in so deeply or possibly malware that has corrupted windows itself. It could be bad memory, a HDD malfunction. Possibly Software or Hardware issues. I'm not really sure here at all. I've tried what I know and that apparently hasn't been enough.

The issues first had was whenever i select to shut down windows it starts shutting down and as it gets to the point where it actually is supposed to turn off it suddenly blue screens and then goes into a restarting boot! this is hugely frustrating as when i select shut down i want it to shut down not blue screen and restart. I formatted my machine about a month ago as the issue was getting extremely repetitive, once formatted everything worked great until just the other day it started again it is not as frequent as it used to be, it only happens once every 2 weeks or so. I know its not viruses as i run KIS and malwarebytes and regularly scan the system for any issues, i dont think its hardware because the system is new and i have used the best parts, also i dont think it is frequent enough to be hardware.

It's a recurrent problem, but it happens only when I'm playing games, altough it seens to happen with all games, it happens more often when I'm playing World of Warcraft and Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, since they're the ones I play most. View 2 Replies View RelatedComputer threw out a bunch of weird language and then said crash and shut down. Now it doesn't really boot or reboot. I have to pull the battery to get it to restart and I get the HP logo when I put the battery back in and it takes me to a Windows Errory Recovery screen with two options: Launch Repair or Launch normally. Neither one of them does anything. I just get the blue screen.
I've tried the f8 key and the f10 key and can't seem to get to any other screen. I put the restore disk into the CD rom drive and I don't think it's accessing it at all.
It is an HP Pavilion dv7-4087cl with an Intel Core i5-430M processor and its running Windows 7 Home Premium OA 64 bit.
I left my computer on overnight, and when I just returned to it I discovered that it had shut down, and when I started it up, I was informed that Windows had just recovered from an unexpected shut down. Though I guess I should mention that the other night, even though I was not doing anything on my computer, a fan was working really hard (loudly), so I just shut it the PC down. I'm thinking it could be overheating, but it is currently quite cold where I am, so it doesn't really make much sense. Here's the details of the error

After a while it started freezing all the time so I decided to clean it up. It had tons of dust that I removed and I even applied thermal paste MX3 to the processor. Everything went well for a few months but now the freezing has restarted. Basically, I turn it on and it freezes while doing small stuff like opening firefox or steam whithin a minutes.
Normally the screen goes black but the lights in the tower stay on and the fans keep working. I have to manually reboot and then it just works normally with no more freezings. I can not get my computer to start up. I have gone through the recovery start up, pressing F8 to get to the screen, after pressing system recovery, it just takes me to a blue screen and then back to the page that tells you windows failed to start up normally. I have tried safe mode, the same thing happens and then I tried last known good configuration. That led me back to a blue screen with nothing happening except the lights on the front of the computer blinking white several times, then orange back and forth. At one point it did go to a black screen with the lights on the front blinking, but it did that forever and nothing happened

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running an Advent desktop PC and its stats are as follows; Intel Core i5-2310 CPU @ 2.90GHz 8GB RAM Win 7 64 bit.The problem I am having is when ever i boot up the computer it shows the Advent logo-screen where I can access the boot menu etc but then it goes to a black screen with a cursor/underscore flashing in the top left... This screen stays for quite a while and I am not sure if it stops because of a key I have pressed or just because it has run its course but after it disappears the computer goes back to the logo-screen for a moment and proceeds to boot up as normal except slightly slower than usual.It is a relatively new computer and it has no problems running at all once the boot up is complete it is fast and as friendly as ever.
