I have just bought entirely new system about 4 months go or so, this has been a self build. The issues first had was whenever i select to shut down windows it starts shutting down and as it gets to the point where it actually is supposed to turn off it suddenly blue screens and then goes into a restarting boot! this is hugely frustrating as when i select shut down i want it to shut down not blue screen and restart. I formatted my machine about a month ago as the issue was getting extremely repetitive, once formatted everything worked great until just the other day it started again it is not as frequent as it used to be, it only happens once every 2 weeks or so. I know its not viruses as i run KIS and malwarebytes and regularly scan the system for any issues, i dont think its hardware because the system is new and i have used the best parts, also i dont think it is frequent enough to be hardware.

Yesterday I got this virus, I went and bought trend micro titanium and cleaned it up (was using a free30 day trial of something else) but I'm still having a problem. Whenever I go to shut down or restart my computer, it starts doing it like normal, but right at the end I get this blue screen with a bunch of messages written, it last about 5 seconds while a countdown happens at the bottom of the screen, then it restarts (even if I went Shutdown).
Sometimes minutes after I log back into the user, the blue screen comes up out of nowhere, does it's 5 second odd countdown and restarts. I should get minidump files. The countdown at the bottom of the blue screen is called "crash dump" or something like that. With the virus whenever I tried to open an internet explorer or google chrome window, all that would come up was "win 7 home security", I'm not getting that anymore though after doing the full scan with trend.
Additional info: I have windows 7, my pc is a HP Pavilion laptop, model number is DV6 - 2144TX

I've recently built my own computer, but I've come across a problem..Whenever i boot up my computer I get the blue screen and it would restart. At first it wouldn't really bother me since it would only happen once a day, but then i realized that after the blue screen only half of my overall RAM would be usable.

I just installed NFS the Run and Battlefield 3 on my windows 7 Dell XPS, the game showed me an error and asked me to download driver version 259.38 from the nvidia website, I did so and the game started working, but not properly. Anyway, so I restarted my laptop and after the 'starting windows' screen, it went blank, the blue log in screen never came (i could hear the tune though).Then i restored my system to a previous date (thereby uninstalling the new driver) and now the system is working but the game is showing the same error again

one day it suddenly crashed while i was watching a movie. it displayed random patterns on screen. kinda like part of the image from the video is on the screen then a black strip and random colors. I restarted the unit to safe mode and left it on and browsed the net and downloaded some big files for how many hours and nothing happened.. there are also times when windows is still loading with the windows logo on screen, it crashes. there are also times when the login screen is displayed and it crashes. it just crashes randomly! so i tried to reformat it. i deleted the partitions and created a new one, formatted it then fresh installed windows 7 ( my previous OS is windows 7 by the way) and started installing the basic drivers and after a few hours, it crashed again...thinking that the driver installed might not be compatible, i tried another fresh install of windows (same execution, delete partition, create, install OS) and this time, without installing the drivers, it crashed again after a few hours... sometimes it crashes immediately after turning it on from cold start!

I wanted to upgrade XP to 7, I've upgraded it partially when in XP. So now XP is no more, and I only have to boot from the DVD.But now I have the problem:Every time I insert the Windows 7 DVD the pc says "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD..." (as normal), When I've pressed the any key, the PC does absolutely nothing and just restarts.After that, I fiddled around in my BIOS, "turned a few switches", made a copy on a fresh DVD. Now when I insert the DVD, the PC says:Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...When I've pressed the any key the PC says:Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...When I've pressed the any key the PC does absolutely nothing, no reboot, no loading, no next screen, no nothing, altough the underscore flashes trougout the whole time.I've cleaned the pc from the inside, (with a vacuumcleaner), opened the CD/DVD player, blowed air in it so the dust could come out... Nothing works...Could someone please tell what's wrong?Is it the DVD? Is it the DVD-player? Is it the motherboard? Is it because my keyboard does not have the any key? Is het something wrong with my BIOS settings?

For the past few weeks I have noticed my laptop becoming slower and slower. As of a few days ago it has been ridiculously slow and is sometimes unresponsive to commands or keyboard. It used to go straight to a black screen with only the cursor after start up but now sometimes starts up, although very slow. Now my desktop started doing it too. I don't know what's going on with them. I had not had any virus protection for a while and recently installed webroot complete 2012 on both of them and scanned, finding nothing. My desktop sometimes loads into safe mode when I tell it to, however it still is extremely slow, SAme with he laptop. And if I try to start up the desktop on normal is stays on black screen. I have noticed that sometimes I will get the "Microsoft windows isn't responding" pop up. My control alt delete doesn't work on either of them either, it pos up suing something like " the control alt delete function could not be started blah blah blah".

I have CD-RW's and I like to know I can use them to recover my laptop failure system. My problem is that I can't access my desktop,Dell XPS. Its just restarts at the booting process. I think its a virus that is causing it. But I also want to restore my computer to its original factory position. How can I resolve this without going into the desktop?

recently I found that my computer running Windows 7 Home Premium is becoming slower. And the annoying thing is that, when my computer plays music or video, the audio occasionally becomes the BUZZ sound, with the discrete "jumping" of mouse cursor if it's moving.Once when the issue was bad, a Bluescreen occured with an infinitely repeating noise (buzzing again and again), and the screenshot of the Bluescreen is uploaded.
Some specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium on Laptop Dell V130
2G RAM, (usually 85% is used);
CPU: i3 @ 1.30GHz
Processes: 81 (as currently - too many?)
Services started: ~80

My computer has had problems starting up. On some occasions, I will get to the Welcome screen, and it will just sit there as long as I keep the computer on. Sometimes, it will get past the Welcome screen only to get to a black screen with no desktop or toolbar. To get it to work, I have to start the computer in safe mode and then restart it. I thought it was a virus, so I did a scan with my antivirus (Avast) but it did not detect anything.
