I have SLI GTX 580s. Yesterday I was playing a lot of The Secret World and the computer was working fine. I shut down and today when I try to start it up I get a BSOD and the computer reboots. I can start it in safe mode and I get this message:[CODE]I tried both cards by themselves, one of them works fine but the other one gets these errors. I don't know what to do. They were both absolutely fine yesterday, no artifacts show up on screen for the card that isnt working, just when I install Nvidia drivers it all goes to hell.
I had this machine built just over a year ago, and only had occasional crashes (no particular activities seemed to generate the issue). About 2 months ago the crashes became more persistent, and upon restarting the machine would have trouble loading normal mode. At the screen that reads "welcome" the spinning wheel would simply freeze, and the computer would lock up. As this problem persisted the computer would either automatically reboot itself each time, or crash into a BSOD and run a dump. I can, however, start it in Safe Mode without issue. It had been running the same install of windows 7 ultimate x64 until a couple of weeks ago when I attempted to reinstall. This solved nothing, so I reinstalled again, this time deleting the partitions and formatting the drive. Again, the problems persist. I'm inclined to think they're hardware related at this point, but I'm in no way an expert.
This is the second BSOD I get this week, but isn't the same error code, the other one was 0x000000D1.My specs:Windows 7 Professional x86 (32-bit) retail

i used to get the BSOD very often so i decided to recover the system to the initial state . i did that and everything was fine , then i updated the windows 7 service pack 1 and finished the installation and rebooted my computer , the start-up at least took half an hour at that time and the service pack 1 installation showed "not successful " i tried to again to update the service pack1 which showed 73.6mb - 892.6mb so i updated it again and again the same thing happened.
cross country with an issue she's having with her laptop. Every time she starts it up normally it will boot normally, display the windows logo splash, and initiate windows. Her desktop will load up and will begin to propogate. i restarted my compure about an hour ago for it to complete a windows update, on the logout screen and showed: installing updates, it jumped from 10% to 20 and thirty and the skipped to shutting down.when starting back up again i got a BSOD saying:STOP: c000021a {fatal system error} The Verification of a knownDLL failed. system process terminated unexpectedly the system has been shut down.in the startup repair i get:startup repair cannot repair this computer automaitcally.

for some reason i cant find how to enter safe mode on this mobo (its a new computer)ive hit F8 and it just takes me to a boot priority. F10 11 12 arnt for safe mode either.
I am not computer savvy when it comes to these sorts of things. The heading states it all and am wanting a bit more of an insight at any problems that may be occurring etc.. Also, as of late I have noticed that my DVD player refuses at times to read a DVD movie or game title, and only after a few open / closes it seems to work. - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? I have BSOD on a cold startup everyday. On most time after the first BSOD of the day the PC will run fine for that whole day. There will be two consecutive BSOD on certain occasions. The problem stops for a week after I updated the NEC USB 3.0 Host controller so it seems there is other problem causing the BSOD but now I am not so sure.
Had this error yesterday after starting the computer. Did a startup repair but it didnt fix it. Can't boot into safe mode. Right now doing startup repair again.
I'm having some trouble starting Windows. First I was having trouble with booting into safe mode so I done some Googling and I found this page and tried it [URL] now not only can I not start my PC in safemode but not in normal mode either, with checking the option for safe mode in msconfig it now keeps trying to start my PC in safe mode over and over again. I also cannot start my PC with the last known configuration.
I tried repair my PC with my DVD but that cannot fix it. There is no system restore point or recovery saved.
Ok windows stucks on welcome, it will not boot so i am doing a startup repait but its stuckIt asked meif i want to do system recovery and i clicked no cancel , (only repair) but the blue bar that moves while its repairing it doesnt move its frozen and it says attempting repairs... nothing moves
I've been looking for a fix for 5 hours and no luck- System restarts as soon as it enters the splash screen, but I can enter into safe mode - SFC /SCANNOW Detects nothing.
Tried bootrec commands and did nothing.. . Tried chkdsk /f /r and still nothing. . . Tried start up repair like 30+ times and it didn't fix it and said no root cause.

System BSOD then restarts instantly, and I cannot reproduce on command to tell you blue screen info. To add to problem it is hard to get a dump for this problem as the dump wont be created if I have to do the replugging of the sata cord. I was lucky (or rather unlucky) during the dump attached that I did not have to
I've experienced 2 BSOD's today, both within 30 minutes of turning on the computer. I was doing nothing extraordinary either time, just browsing the web (in fact, the second time I was getting ready to post this). The blue screen flashed too quickly but I think it was stop error 116 and the file was ati something .sys. I suspect gfx card because of this. I've attached all the dump information.
OS is OEM, reinstalled 1 year ago. Mobo, CPU, RAM, secondary HDD are 2.5 years old. SSD (boot drive) is 1 year old. Gfx card, PSU are 6 months old. Other maybe useful info about the gfx card is that it has been behaving strangely before. Last week and other times, Windows Aero would suddenly turn off, and the gfx temperature would rise ~5-10C and fan would go crazy. Rebooting fixed this, at least temporarily.
As of yesterday morning this computer I am typing from has started crashing to BSOD at (what seems to be) random at intervals from 2 minutes to 2 hours.

I have a Compaq persario CQ62 laptop i was on facebook about a week ago and signed out and my computer froze i powered it down and when i turned it on i thought it was going to start and then it went to a blue screen. I am doing this from another computer because i cant get that one to boot from anything disk or drive. I can not access safe mode or repair mode If i try to load safe mode it does not even show me the file its loading.
I suddenly get this BSOD on my laptop this morning . It was fine for 4 months . Then my little brother plays some games ( Torchlight 2 , some mini games from Popcap ) The laptop gets BSOD .
So I just got back from a 3 day vacation, and when I came back I rebooted my computer only to come back to the "Start Windows Normally/ launch startup repair" naturally I chose startup repair, it froze. Tried starting normally, took me back to the same page. So I tried booting in safe mode, took me to the BSOD that read Bad_pool_header. So then I tried to putting in my windows 7 installation disc to see if I could do a system recover from there, but as soon as I try boot up with the disc it takes me back to the same BSOD. I feel completely stuck as I've tried everything I can think of.

Nothing is running poorly on my computer but I am starting to think that there was something that happened and my computer was able to remove it but maybe not all of it or there are damaged files from it? I am not super computer saavy but I do pretty well and can definately can follow good directions.
So I get this BSOD when my machine starts up, right after the BIOS/memory/harddrive screen. Can someone please tell me what this means? (Sorry I cant get a dumpfile because I cant get past this and get the OS up.)
I hope I have done everything correctly as far as following the instructions to report my bsod problems. I've noctice it usually resets and bsod after I logged into windows? if it doesn't crash in the first few minutes upon entering windows then it seems my system would be stable for hours on end.

Had to install in safe-mode. After install, my graphic card was recognized and the drivers started working! 64-bit is WAY faster than 32-bit...Or is it just 7600 being faster than 7100...
This started happening last night while i was playing Borderlands 2, it has happened at idle, playing just about any game in my library, during downloads and just browsing the web. I changed all of my accessible drivers, and it continued to happen, so i moved all of my personal files onto my external HDD. I re installed windows on my SSD (did not reformat) and reformatted my HDD. I re installed my drivers, re-enabled SLI and it ran fine for about an hour, just downloading WoW, and then happened again twice.
This also happened to me (the BSODs) but not after installing RAM - I'm not sure what the error code was though, I upgraded my OS from Windows 2000 Professional to Windows 7 (I actually installed Windows 7 on a different partition) and didn't actually do an "upgrade" - but I wasn't sure if I should "uninstall" or delete the old Windows OS from the other partition. Not sure how to go about doing that - just by deleting, or having to clean registry keys, etc. I also had to install a new video card - since my previous one would not work right under Windows 7.
Getting this BSOD when starting it up in the morning. Afterwards the computer runs normally.I've tried to enable creating minidumps, but 3 days in (and 3 bsod's) it hasn't created one yet.I've copied info from the BSOD and Event Viewer below.
