View 1 RepliesMy computer has started getting the BSOD, it seems random when it occurs, sometimes when I'm playing TSW, othertimes when I'm browsing the net and then a few times when I'm not really paying attention to the computer.I've (hopefully correct) uploadet a zip file containing the logs from SF Diagnostic Tool. Anyone who can cypher their meaning?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI suddenly get this BSOD on my laptop this morning . It was fine for 4 months . Then my little brother plays some games ( Torchlight 2 , some mini games from Popcap ) The laptop gets BSOD .
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've owned my custom computer for about 3 years now, done various upgrades on it. But now I don't understand what's happening. When I play Games or doing normal browsing, my computer will hang and everything will freeze for about a minute or two. It's more when I play Video games than when I surf the internet. It then returns to normal and I can do whatever for the next 10-15 minutes, and then it does it again. I tryed to get past it but it starts to do it more frequently.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThese have happened on and off for about a month now, but have gotten more and more recent the past week. I just had 2 happen in the spam of about 20 minutes.
View 8 Replies View RelatedRecently, my computer has been constantly crashing while I am doing work, gaming, watching videos, and surfing the web. The system is about a month old, with a Windows 7 Professional x64 operating system (OEM). I have also noticed that the BSODs are becoming more frequent.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe last couple of weeks I've been having this issue where my computer will freeze/lock-up hard. And by hard I mean that I can't launch the Task Manager, move the mouse cursor, or anything...it's completely unresponsive. To get the machine working again I have to physically restart it using the Power button or the Reset button. I initially thought that it was overheating, so I opened up the case and gave it a good cleaning with a compressed air duster and verified that the fans worked properly. No dice. I then reformatted and reinstalled Windows. Again, no luck...the issue just keeps happening. I ran MemTest overnight, and that came through clean. I haven't found any issues from Disk Check, and MSE comes back with a clean report. Here are my system specs:
Windows 7 Professional x64, Retail
Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
Asus P5K SE/EPU
6 GB RAM
nVidia Geforce 9800 GT
2x 500 GB HD, 1x 320 GB HD
Last, but not least, I ran a System Health Report that's attached to this post. I took a look through it, and I'm a little confused by some of the errors it found. Namely, I don't have a PS/2 keyboard; my printer is working just fine; I've uninstalled LogMeIn, and I have MSE installed. The Health Report seems to be..
My desktop is currently running into an issue where it will crash (BSOD) at random times doing just about any program, the screen will basically become jumbled up/turn into Lines for a second and then BSOD to the Stop Error. I have included the Minidump file, JcGriff File, and Health and systems report as per the BSOD posting instructions. My Basic system Specs include- Windows 7 Professional x64 ( installation itself is about 2.3 years old and its Retail)Age of System - Varies (Oldest component is 2.3 years old [AMD Phenom II X6 1090T], newest is only about 3 months [Asus DirectCU 6870s])

2 x SSD (C300 and M4)
1x 750GB SATA II HDD

(Also I noticed in the Perfmon it says it cannot detect an Antivirus Program, although I do possess one [AVG Internet Security 2012])
I'm having some problems with my computer shutting down randomly. No BSOD. I just reset the BIOS and removed a single GPU, so I am no longer in SLI mode.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a basic, stock HP Pavilion m8109n PC. I moved about a month ago and out of no where it started randomly shutting off with NO BSOD, most commonly when I'm watching a movie, browsing the internet, or doing any day-to-day tasks. I'm fairly familiar with all things computer, but not having any BSOD to work with inhibited me from easily diagnosing the problem. I did a clean install of Windows, but it kept crashing. I assumed this meant it's the hardware. My first thought was heat. I checked the temperatures on all the sensorseverything from a cold start to seconds before it crashedbut all the temperatures were within range, even under heavy load. It doesn't seem to crash as frequently or at all when I leave the computer idle; it only seems to crash when I'm doing something on it. But assuming the sensor readouts are accurate, I moved on. The only way to successfully reproduce the crash is to plug in my D-LINK USB Wireless Network adapter. I have no idea why this causes it to crash, as it happens with or without software/drivers installed, but it does. I figured this might mean it's the power supply. I bought a new one, plugged it in, but the crashes still happened. It wasn't the power supply.

No overclocks, only BIOS settings changed were the voltages on my ram (over a month ago) edit: thinking it might be my PSU failing... should i just buy another one? if so what would be compatible>?
btw, eventviewer doesn't point to anything specific just says the shutdown was unexpected and i ran sfc scannow already.
my computer is randomly freezing dont actually show the bluescreen it just restarts. But it is making a dump file and has the windows has recovered saying it did bluescreen. I have tried various different driver for my gfx card which i have a Nvidia 450GTS. This is only happening on the 64bit version of Windows 7 my 32 bit had no problems never even crashed on me.can run my linux without no problems too. the dump file displays these files were cause of the crash.

Current OS came OEM with the system, I have not re-installed OS but is considering it.More on the Window 7 installed here:64 bitWindows 7 Enterprise, SP1, came pre-installed with the computer.I have followed the steps to zip Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 folder & the PERFMON HTML file.
New computer build, I have been getting a few BSODs. First one was when I was trying to install office 2010 from CD, then after that it happens once or twice a day. Seemingly random. It did happen again when i was running utorrent pretty hard, which downloads directly to an external hard drive. Not sure if that could be it, not running utorrent it seems pretty stable, but I could be wrong.

my computer has been freezing and randomly restarting the last couple of days.
When it restarts sometimes it has to boot a couple of times, it seems as though it can' boot the BIOS, the bios splash screen is also different, this also changed 2 days ago. The first couple of times it froze, now it just restarts randomly. I suspect the motherboard.

My computer has been randomly crashing after it goes to sleep. After trying to find answers by searching, it seems like it may have to do with a driver, but I can't understand the dmp files. I also cannot open the xml file. Attached is the message I get when I start the computer again. I tried to attach the dmp and xml files, but it says I do not have permission when I click "open" to upload them. I am running Windows 7 x64.

I can be doing anything (I work on my computer I don't play games) so my normal activity is forums, skype, ftp..etc.I have not been able to identify any particular pattern or software when it happens, but the one thing that does happen is when it first happens, it says "Bad header Pool" then restarts, and it is merely a matter of minutes before it happens again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been having two main problems recently. One being a BSOD upon waking up a sleeping/hibernating computer and two being a randomly dismounting HDD.The former problem has been happening for well over a year, but I've just kind of ignored it. Recently, my computer's starting to BSOD even when its not waking up, so I thought I might want to finally take a look into what's happening. If anyone would be kind enough to tell me how to post dump logs, I will gladly supply them. The latter problem also is a recent occurrence and happens sporadically. I know this isn't the exact forum to post this in, but I thought I'd mention it to see if it is somehow connected. Sometimes I'll try to access Mozilla or a shortcut on my desktop and a message will pop up, notifying me that that file is unavailable for access. Then I check "computer" and see that my main data drive (the HDD) has disappeared! This problem remedies itself once I've restarted my computer but is still none-the-less disconcerting. Does this hint at a failing hard drive? It's important to note that when I try to back up the HDD or check disk it, it usually will disappear in the middle of my attempts, or my computer will BSOD and fail to complete the tests.

View 1 Replies View Relatedit seems to have been going through a series of BSODs. I've ran several tests to see what might actually activate the BSOD, but it happens when doing different things. Most notably, when I tried creating an account for this forum, I would open the start menu, and right-click on "Computer" to see the specs, but as soon as I tried, the machine instantly BSOD'd me. After rebooting, I tried to replicate the problem, but I was able to see the specs.
They are running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 on a HP Pavilion P6000. It's OEM and about 2-years since purchase date. Their current AV is Trend Micro Titanium 2012. Crashes also occur during web browsing, windows explorer browsing, and sometimes when the computer is just sitting idly as nothing is open.
Enclosed is the requested zip file containing the folder and HTML file.
I've been getting random BSODs for the last 2 weeks. I did a fresh install of windows 7 yesterday, and I seem to still be getting it. I can't really tell, but it also seems to happen sometimes when I pick up my laptop?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently started to experience a BSOD problem I cannot quite put my finger on. It does not save a log, even though I have it set to save in /Minidump. I have not changed or added any hardware, or software. I completely wiped Windows and started over from scratch, using the most up to date drivers. However they're still occurring, I've restored my BIOS settings to all default settings. I am thinking it was a Hard drive issues, I've ran CHKDSK all both drives - I know my Windows drive was clean, I was not around to see the completion of of my slave drive - I was running CHKDSK via Safemode and came back to a BSOD. I've attached a administrator Eventlog, but am unable to make much sense of it.
The last BSOD I saw read this;
Code: KERNEL_DATA_INAPGE_ERROR
*
*
STOP: 0X0000007A (0XFFFFFF6FC4000099C0, 0XFFFFFFFFC000000E, 0X00000001E7588860, 0XFFFFF88001338890)
NTFS.SYS - Address FFFFF88001338890 base at FFFFF880012450000, Datestamp 4ce792f9 I've ran Memory test already, no errors where found. The next step I am going to try is too unplug my Slave drive and see what happens without it. I've already re-seated both drives and memory sticks.
When i play league of legend while using skype, my computer tend to freeze and stops functioning. This is a recent problem which has not happened before in the past.
View 3 Replies View RelatedBasically, my problem is that randomly next to EVERYTHING will stop responding for about five minutes, except the lower profile applications such as teamspeak and mIRC, and its been happening since july. Then, it will work again for a bit and then it will happen again. I got windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
When it first started, it would freeze so bad that it would BSOD, but that has not happened recently, however sometimes even TS and mIRC won't respond, and you can't open any new programs up while its in this cycle plus 99% of the time explorer.exe stops responding as well. We think the problem started happening when we did the windows updates, we didn't do all of them but we did the majority of them at that time, but it may of just been a coincidence. It will happen basically no matter what i got open, if its just Fire Fox or if i got FireFox, WoW, Diablo 2, TS, mIRC all open.
I just recently upgraded to service pack 1, and the problem still occurs. I've ran CCleaner, malwarebyes, anti virus, and all came up with little to no malicious activity
I am also using BlueScreenView but I don't understand the codes for this to know what is the cause. SEQUENCE OF SYMPTOMS: First application I am on freezes, cursor is waiting (cursor freezes and resumes, then freezes again). Windows Explorer freezes as well (turning white and then disappearing to only desktop wallpaper). All application closes as if it were restarting. Error windows pop up for applications, such as C++, security programs, browsers...
BSOD.
