I have 2 computers, one has Outook (xp) and one has Windows mail (vista) both set up for the same email address. When I receive an email on Windows and open it, it doesn't appear on the Outlook computer. Anything received on Outlook always comes through on Windows.
How can I get my email to always appear on both computers?

After years of slogging along with an age old laptop (Windows XP and MS Office xp Professional) I bought two new computers running Vista Home Premium and one (Asus netbook) running XP. Result: netbook can use the same Outlook settings as previously, but the other two, using the same XP settings will let me send Emails (to myself and elsewhere) but the Vista machines absolutely refuse to send mails to anywhere. I have a spreadsheet in excel that contains columns such as Name, DOB, form no etc, and I want to add a column that will auto enter the date that the information was entered. I tried adding a column which uses the TODAY() function when something is added to the column to the left but everyday it updates the TODAY() to current day so that won't work. Can anybody think of a way to stop it updating or another way to put the "entered date" on?

Enter different product key 3. These are my only options, i have no access to deskstop, or start key etc. I have reentered my product key numerous times and also reentered a new product key given to me by microsoft customer support on the telephone but neither was accepted and i received the following error message with both product keys: Code 0xc004f050 . The people on the microsoft customer support number could not help me any more and refered me to Medion, who referred me back to microsoft! I have not performed any updates to Vista or uninstalled any drivers etc.

Hopefully, someone in here has some ideas or a solution. Iron Man installed fine, but when we go to launch it, we get the same error box popping up, saying:
"Cannot locate the DVD-ROM"
"Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
Then there's the OK button at the bottom
There's only 1 DVD for this game and it has to be in the drive for the game to run. The game just refuses to run. I finally sat down this weekend and all day today, trying different things, like cycling between the different compatibility modes, updating DVD firmware, tweaking the game's INI files, and Googling every damn thing I can think of to see if there any other solutions or anyone who's solved this. Nothing works.

I am using Vista Ultimate and my laptop has 1GB RAM. Though Vista only shows it to be 895MB. I learnt that Microsoft has introduced an Update which shows correct amount of RAM after it is installed. When I first installed Vista, I came across continuous problems. It's been so long, so I cannot remember what exactly the problems were (something along the lines of getting stuck during Windows updating I believe). Eventually I had help from a fellow online who gave me a specific procedure in installing Vista, something like 1) install Vista from CD, 2) download a service pack onto a USB port and update your computer from that 3) turn off automatic update, etc etc. Being foolish, I did not save the step by step procedure, and now am in need of it again.
