After years of slogging along with an age old laptop (Windows XP and MS Office xp Professional) I bought two new computers running Vista Home Premium and one (Asus netbook) running XP. Result: netbook can use the same Outlook settings as previously, but the other two, using the same XP settings will let me send Emails (to myself and elsewhere) but the Vista machines absolutely refuse to send mails to anywhere. Because of this I clicked F8 (can succesfully view it) and tried to log into safe mode. Fail - So I tried every type of safe mode there was.
