Microsoft Project 2007 Carshes Automatically

I'm in Computer Science (IT) so I have an entire course on how to use Microsoft Project 2007. They make us buy a little how-to book. I'm following that book as an homework. So here is the problem. From the Resource Sheet, I choose a resource. Then, I go to Tools -> Change Working Time. I then click on the tab "Work Week". Then, I create a new exception for the resource. Then, in the boxes next to it, in the drop boxes, there's calendar to set when it begins and where it ends, right? Each time that I want to set the end day, Microsoft Project 2007 crashes automatically. It happens sometimes on the start day too.

Suddenly the Project Explorer windows in VB6 has disappeared from my existing project and any other that I open. I have searched the Web and find many references to the same problem but have not found any answer..What did I do and how can I undo it?

I have been using Microsoft Outlook 2007 for about two weeks everything was working fine. I have not change the way I used this program. I have used Microsoft Outlook 2002 for a few years so I had no real problems until recently. I save many of the e-mails I receive in either text or HTML format with no problem. When I save an e-mail now in
either text or HTML now, a folder is automatically created with the same name I have created the e-mail I have created. The e-mail which I save is not saved in the folder which automatically appears. What is in the folder are three files: colorschememapping, filelist, and themedata. If after I save the file then go back and delete the folder with the same name as the file, both the folder and the e-mail which I saved are
deleted. I do not know what is going on. Now my computer is getting filled up with e-mail messages I want to keep and folders that I really do not want. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I am aboutready to pull my hair out.

Microsoft office 2003 problem. When starting microsoft word on vista ulitmate, there seems to be a problem. This will automatically shut down, saying there was a problem and is shutting down. The other programs seem fine, Excel, powerpoint, etc. I havent a clue what this could be, has anyone else had this problem.
In the top right corner of microsoft word it will say "Finalizing Installation" and then after you type a couple of sentences it will shut down on its own. This is for a friend of mine, who had microsoft office put on when she bought the laptop of a friend, though she does not have the disk. so i wondered if this is an installation problem. Would this be some sort of copy of microsoft office 2003, that was put on for her She has only found this out now as her son needs to use word for school ( vista ultimate, 64 bit, sp2)

As you can see from my profile I have Vista Ultimate x64 but I can't install Virtual PC 2007. Basically I downloaded the installer (making sure it was the x64 version), ran it and it all went fine until suddenly the installation just rolled back and said that no modifications were made to the system. It doesn't give me an error message. I searched on the Internet but I can't seem to find the solution. And yes, I tried both the normal installer and the SP1 version.

I just recently purchased a new laptop and it finally arrived today. I have a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 (I still have enough liscenses left for this laptop) which I was trying to install. I try to run setup and it attempts to load and then automatically closes and displays the following message:"Setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your system administrator."
I am the administrator on this computer. When I try to launch setup on my other laptop that runs 32bit it works just fine. Before I bought the new laptop I checked to see if my software would work on 64bit and the internet said it would. Am I doing anything wrong?

This update keeps installing over and over It has now installed successfully 7 times and is shown as successful in the Update History list - 7 times!
I suppose I could uninstall VirtualPC since I have not been using it lately.
I should mention that it does not show up in the Control Panel | Progarams and Features Installed Updates list, though.
One other thing: VirtualPC is not supposed to work on Vista, but it does. In fact my son does development using it daily.

while back I had a Windows XP PC but it got dumb and crashed. So I just got my new Tower Which is Windows Vista-x64(Home Premium.) On my old machine I had a game I new and loved called Rayman 2 that isn't compatible to Vista. So my only option was to install it under Microsoft VPC 2007. It did Install but It wouldn't play. Here is the issue: I go To play the game and an error pops up that said I need to install DirectX 6.0 so I did. It didnt matter tho cuz I still had the error. So then I realized the error as telling me to configure the Graphics so It had another error when I Opened The "GXSetup."
Which was this: error1.jpg It Didn't Really matter because it still let me open the exe. But HERE IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEM STARTED. The program successfully opened! But This is what it contained: MajorError.jpg My only thought was what the f*ck I am going to scream. Because from what it looks like Virtual PC Wasn't Detecting Much or anything at all to do with Graphics (the dropdown arrows contain absolutely nothing).

I don’t know if I’m in the correct area or not. If not, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I have Vista 32 Home Premium operating system. I have Microsoft Office 2007. When I tried to delete my Junk E-mail folder it tells me it’s full. I know it isn’t so I have been deleting emails individually. How can I fix this problem?

I have Vista Home Premium and a brand new Dell Laptop. I've just bought Office Ultimate 2007. Everytime I open outlook or try to take any action, I get "please wait while windows configures microsoft office ultimate 2007". it takes a good while before it goes away. I have vista home premium 32bit and i have been recently getting error messages like the following: "the program has stopped working". Microsoft office 2007 was working for about couple of weeks when i installed it, but later on, it started not to work. I tried the repair function, reinstalling it, manually deleting the files and reinstalling it afterwards. I have also tried installing service pack 1 RTM to see if it will fix the problem. But so far, nothing works. Will the offical service pack fix this problem?

I recently purchased a Dell desktop with 64-bit Vista Premium. Audacity 1.2.6 would not record: I got a message telling me to "check the input device settings and the project sample rate." I checked in Audacity>Edit>Preferences, & there were no Recording Device options listed at all.
After Googling all possible avenues for advice, I found an extremely simple solution… that actually works!
* Select Personalization from the Control Panel.
* Select Sounds
* Select the Recording tab.
* In my case, there were 3 options shown: Front Mic, Microphone, & Line In, all grayed out & showing as not plugged in.
* Right click on any one of them choose "show disabled devices."
* This brought up the Stereo Mix option.
* Select Stereo Mix, Choose Properties, and click Enable.
* Voila! Now it worked the same way as Wave Out Mix in Windows XP, & I could record streaming audio with no problems!

I was using Microsoft Outlook Express as my mail client. Then Microsoft advised users to update to Windows Mail since they no longer supported Outlook Express..so I did. Now Microsoft is directing users to install Microsoft LIVE Mail? What is the difference between Microsoft Mail (which I am running) and Microsoft LIVE Mail....and, why would a user run LIVE over MAIL?

I've imported my contacts file into Windows Mail but something funny is happening. When I am creating a message and am typing the first few letters of a contact's name, some names come up automatically just as they did in the Outlook but not all of them, although I those names are there on the contacts list. I can't figure out why. In order to add these names I have to go to Tools, Select Recipient and add their names to the TO field. Is there a way I can get Windows Mail to insert all contacts names automatically?

Every time I boot up, User Account Control pops up and asks me if I want to allow this program to run "PSDiagnostic.exe". This program has to do with the functionality of my wireless print server and it needs to run or the printer on my print server will not function. If I allow the program to run everything is fine, but I would rather not have to be bothered with this during every boot up. I know I can disable User Account Control to avoid this, but is there a way I can leave User Account Control active and still allow this program to run automatically during boot up? Like is there a list of exceptions that I could add it to?

I have a multi boot system with XP, Vista, 7 (RC1) and Ubuntu. If I select "restart" in order to reboot, it just waits until I do a hard reset. If I select shutdown, then it does so. Neither XP or 7 has this problem. Any fix for this?

I am using window Vista OS. The IP address assigned to my PC by sify is 10.x.x.x. Usually when i connect the lan cable to my laptop and check uing ipcofig i get the same IP ,But every now and then the IP gets chaged to some other IP y.y.y.y .Now when i go and check using the IP config my y.y.y.y Ip becomes the prefereed IP and 169.x.x.x becomes the duplicate IP But if i check in the Manage Network pane where we set the IP address ,there it will be showing the correct IP only ( x.x.x.x assigned by sify ).

im running a dell laptop with vista home. i recently reinstalled the os and am having login issues. there is one user account and when i startup or come back from sleep, i have to click on my user account before entering password. is there a way to make it automatically select this account and display enter password rather than me having to click account first? i do want to require a password.

My new emails are not coming into my inbox unless I exit out of Mail and then re-open Mail. If I hit Send/Receive, I get an error box with "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details. But there's nothing in the Errors box.

I want to be able to automatically log onto my user account after sleep or shutdown. I unchecked 'require password etc.' under 'control userpasswords2'. But it keeps logging on to an administrator account.Is there a way to make the computer open at the desktop of my standard account? I would like the administrator account to be password protected.

I have a vbs script that I use to copy files from my local drive to a network drive as a backup. The script works fine on its own (by double-clicking it or by running it from the command prompt). I created a scheduled task to have it run automatically, but it doesn't seem to work. It says that it completed successfully, but it didn't really do anything. Even if I select it in the Task Scheduler and then click "Run" in the Actions pane, it says it's status is "Running", but nothing is happening.

Using Vista Home and Windows Mail. Just d/l'd IE 8 and now in Windows Mail, the new mail is automatically selected and shows up in the Preview Pane. Before, I could select an old piece of mail and when new mail came in, it did not get selected until I chose to do this. I want this feature back, but don't know how to get it. The reason? It is my understanding that once a piece of mail is in the preview screen, the sender (spam or otherwise undesirable character), knows you have received it; or if in html format, it can open a virus. I know I can turn off the Preview and do have a button on the top menu to do this, but would prefer to not have to do this whenever going into the email program. Also, is it true that by looking at the Properties (instead of the Preview Pane) of an unopened email to view its content,
