I've been looking through all the similar posts and have tried varying different suggestions from people but still my message is stuck in the outbox and I'm unable to Send emails.
I've tried the whole antivirus thing and changing the port number, together with going into my Drive and deleting things from there but still the pesky thing is sitting there taunting me.
I know this is the Vista forum for Outlook Express but I can't seem to navigate to the one for XP. Anyhow I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When sending a message in Outlook Express 6.0 in Windows XP, the message will say there were errors but in the details section it is blank. There will also be a copy of the message that stays in the outbox BUT the message is being received by the recipient. Also, I can't delete the message from the Outbox and the message keeps getting sent every time OE is openned.
when i try to send or forward e-mails they do not go out just buildup ...now 7 in there ... how can i send and or how can i delete them out ....they do not show in outbox
Message in my outbox. When I try to send get error message. It is also keeping other messages from being sent. message I get is: Message could not be displayed Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again. My computer is only 2 weeks old, Vista system, not enought items on it to cause low memory or low disk space.
When I create an email and press send, instead of going out it goes straight to my outbox. I can then not send the message from my outbox, I have checked the account info and the server details look correct. This has just happened recently, the email account has been working fine previously so not sure what has happened.
I find that when I have a message in the outbox and the message is no longer "unread," it disappears regardless of whether it was sent! I believe this is the cause for two current problems:
1. everytime I close Windows Mail, I receive the message "You have unsent messages in your Outbox. Do you want to send them now?" Of course I always click "yes," but the truth is there are no messages in my outbox, and even if I click yes, I will be given the same message if I open and close Windows Mail again. It is chronic!
2. I cannot be sure if a message was actually sent after it's been read and disappears from my outbox. Just this morning, I read a message in my outbox. It became "read," then it disappeared. When I hit send/receive, it successfully "sent" the message according to the action item, but then it failed to move the message from my outbox to the sent folder. So now the mail has disappeared and I have no record of it ever being in existence.
I have an email stuck in my outbox and can't delete. It's preventing me from sending any emails. I tried the using the update mentioned, but it won't work, brings up an error box
All of my email is going to the outbox and won;t send. I am receiving incoming mail. Receiving this error message: An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C013E
Last night I started having problems sending email. All seeting the same, shut down restart spoke with at@t. Getting message You have unsent message in your outbox Do you want to send them now? I click yes but keeps trying to send goes no where.
My OS is Windows Vista and for 2 months now, I have been accessing my yahoo mail via Windows Mail. For 1.5weeks now, I cant send out mail it defaults to my 'Outbox' and generate the following message:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Forests of Africa. No smoking pliz', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F -- "Success is the Progressive Realisation of Worthwhile Predetermined Personal Goals"
Ill try this again. I cant send email I keep getting this message. Ive disabled my AVG email scanner, reset my account numerous times, still no luck. I dont have any problem deleting the message from the outbox.
The rejected e-mail address was 'hinklen@hughes.net'. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.hughes.net', Server: 'smtp.hughes.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 5.7.1 : Recipient address rejected: Access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79
I guess I kind of receive email - about every two days or so. It went from a quick easy operation to agonizingly slow...I can only receive email occasionally and it waits in the outbox for hours. I uninstalled McAfee, checked the servers (working fine for everyone but Vista me) checked the ports (correct). What's next? By the way this started suddenly. It worked perfect one day - not at all the next. Was there an update that caused this? Here's the message I get after one hour of trying to use email: Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E zimmer.csufresno.edu
When I am away from my cable provider's broadband, I cannot send email from windows mail in vista. It remains unsent in the outbox. But I can receive mail in the inbox. Below is the error when I click on the send all button: The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Tonights Game VS Cheshire CANCELLED-Please Respond', Account: 'cbutwill', Server: 'mail.optonline.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
When using Windows Mail, after I try to send an email, it remains in my outbox until I close down the Windows Mail. When I reopen Windows Mail, the message has moved to the sent folder, but is there a way I can send a mail without having to shut-down the program everytime? My status is showing as 'Working Online' and I have tried clicking the 'Send and Receive' but this doesnt resolve the problem.
Email messages have been stuck in my Outbox since Thursday morning. When I try to send/receive messages, new emails come to my inbox but no messages ever get sent. I've tried moving them to drafts, then reopening them and sending, but nothing has been successful.
I have three e mails which I cannot delete from my in box. It's driving me mad and I've wasted so much time looking this up that I'm close to giving up! An error message occurs saying' and unexpected error has occured and thats it.
I downloaded Yahoo Emails and merge the outlook mails to window mails.I find there are many duplicate mails in window mail. At first I manaually delete the dupliates in window mail, It costed me a lot of time and only delete little parts of duplicates. Now I find in window explorer, these are files for the mails. I think I might use a tool to remove duplicate files in 'window mail' folder on window explorer. Is it sage to do so.

1- I put my charter.net email into Vista mail works great but now I can only get my email by going through vista mail. If I go to charter.net It says NO MESSAGES, but there are because I can get them when I go into vista mail.
Also I got an email from a trusted sender and Vista mail pt it throug to spam and said it could have been phishing, I am 100% it was not. I right clicked on the email and put it in trusted sender. Why didVista mail do that Finally I hate how when I go into vista ,mail even if I right click on an email It will open it (so say I right click on a spam email to delete it, vista mail will open it?
received an email from lady with mac. Have received emails from her frequently in the past, however this email will not display, or delete. "Unknown Error",
From time to time I receive emails which have been marked as SPAM (in the subject line) I have a rule set up to delete such messages. Whilst that works well there is on occasion a message which actually isn't SPAM after all. I can copy the email to the desktop and edit it with notepad to remove the word SPAM from the subject line and then save and drag it back into Windows mail but the situation I have is that I have a (mail) folder which has a large number of needed emails incorrectly marked. Does anyone know of a utility that can be used to rename the subject line (specifically to remove the word SPAM) from all messages in a given folder?
My outbox is not working; it will not send and I am not able to delete them as well. I receive not warning/info box. My info for the incoming and out going servers are correct.
I have a message in my outbox that I created ,and now the body of the mail shows as: Message could not be displayed Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again. Windows Mail
When I try to delete the mail it will not delete, when I try to move the mail to the junk mailbox it cannot be moved, when I try to send the mail it cannot send. I've tried shutting down Windows mail and restarting, I tried shutting down the computer, I've tried changing the "sender" e-mail addy, tried changing the "to" e-mail addy. This mail is now blocking other mails I am trying to send.
