I know this is the Vista forum for Outlook Express but I can't seem to navigate to the one for XP. Anyhow I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. When sending a message in Outlook Express 6.0 in Windows XP, the message will say there were errors but in the details section it is blank. There will also be a copy of the message that stays in the outbox BUT the message is being received by the recipient. Also, I can't delete the message from the Outbox and the message keeps getting sent every time OE is openned.

When I create an email and press send, instead of going out it goes straight to my outbox. I can then not send the message from my outbox, I have checked the account info and the server details look correct. This has just happened recently, the email account has been working fine previously so not sure what has happened.
I've been looking through all the similar posts and have tried varying different suggestions from people but still my message is stuck in the outbox and I'm unable to Send emails.
I've tried the whole antivirus thing and changing the port number, together with going into my Drive and deleting things from there but still the pesky thing is sitting there taunting me.
I find that when I have a message in the outbox and the message is no longer "unread," it disappears regardless of whether it was sent! I believe this is the cause for two current problems:
1. everytime I close Windows Mail, I receive the message "You have unsent messages in your Outbox. Do you want to send them now?" Of course I always click "yes," but the truth is there are no messages in my outbox, and even if I click yes, I will be given the same message if I open and close Windows Mail again. It is chronic!
2. I cannot be sure if a message was actually sent after it's been read and disappears from my outbox. Just this morning, I read a message in my outbox. It became "read," then it disappeared. When I hit send/receive, it successfully "sent" the message according to the action item, but then it failed to move the message from my outbox to the sent folder. So now the mail has disappeared and I have no record of it ever being in existence.
I have an email stuck in my outbox and can't delete. It's preventing me from sending any emails. I tried the using the update mentioned, but it won't work, brings up an error box
All of my email is going to the outbox and won;t send. I am receiving incoming mail. Receiving this error message: An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C013E
My OS is Windows Vista and for 2 months now, I have been accessing my yahoo mail via Windows Mail. For 1.5weeks now, I cant send out mail it defaults to my 'Outbox' and generate the following message:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Forests of Africa. No smoking pliz', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F -- "Success is the Progressive Realisation of Worthwhile Predetermined Personal Goals"
I guess I kind of receive email - about every two days or so. It went from a quick easy operation to agonizingly slow...I can only receive email occasionally and it waits in the outbox for hours. I uninstalled McAfee, checked the servers (working fine for everyone but Vista me) checked the ports (correct). What's next? By the way this started suddenly. It worked perfect one day - not at all the next. Was there an update that caused this? Here's the message I get after one hour of trying to use email: Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E zimmer.csufresno.edu
When using Windows Mail, after I try to send an email, it remains in my outbox until I close down the Windows Mail. When I reopen Windows Mail, the message has moved to the sent folder, but is there a way I can send a mail without having to shut-down the program everytime? My status is showing as 'Working Online' and I have tried clicking the 'Send and Receive' but this doesnt resolve the problem.
Email messages have been stuck in my Outbox since Thursday morning. When I try to send/receive messages, new emails come to my inbox but no messages ever get sent. I've tried moving them to drafts, then reopening them and sending, but nothing has been successful.

I am having trouble sendig email out from Windows Mail (using Vista). Everything has been working fine for months, then it got a bit sticky over the last couple of days, but if I tried repeatedly it would eventually capitulate. Is there a way to change the way you make corrections in composing an email message? Whenever I try to insert another sentence in front of one I've already typed, it does the "overtype" thing instead of simply inserting the text. I know how to do it with Outlook and Windows 98, but can't figure it out with Windows mail and Vista!!!
Unable to open my email message links. Everytime I click on the link I received an error message: Application not found. I can copy and paste the link to the Internet Explorer search window and open the link that way. But, that is a definite pain in the butt to do that.

In attempt to fix the issue I created a new email account which is jwebb06@live.com. I created it inorder for me to manually insert it through the Identity Import.
When I check windows mail Vista, the messages arrive, there is an instant of flutter and I have seen some message dropped before I can open any email. What causes this? Also, after I delete some messages it appears back in the inbox or deleted folder as "No Message" on a blank page...I then delete again to get rid of it.

Until recently I have been able to send emails from MS Word XP. Now I receive a message in all MS Office applications: 'The Message could not be sent; An error has occured'. Nothing I do seems to solve the problem. Could it be a security issue?
Could anyone help me delete message from my email. The page states " Message could not be displayed." I try to delete the message and it states "An unknown error has occured.
Several times when I try to send a message from email I get an error message saying that I have selected an incorrect server. Where do I go to change the server name? It says the current server is A T & T Mobile. I know this is incorrect.
