Since I removed a crapload of spyware using spyware doctor, I get the following message everytime windows starts up "Error loading 0wao0o9s.dll, the specified module could not be found" I'm not really able to find any info on this file.

But i didnt like it so i tried going back to internet explorer 6, But then i stated giving me a error like "iertutil.dll is missing" So i googled it.After reading about other people havING the same problem as me, I found out that i can download iertutil.dll from www.down-dll.com and copied it to cwindowssystem32.Before i done this my desktop was gone..But after doing this my desktop have reapperied however im still having a problem. Every time I try to open a program or do somethinG i get this erroe message "The ordinal 56 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll". I would be happy to reinstall windows but I have lost the CD.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with my computer obviously. I have a VPR Matrix desktop FT6100 computer. It has windows xp as its operating system. We had a huge storm here last Friday causing a total loss of power. Now, when I turn on the computer I am getting the following error message: Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: WINDOWSSYSTEM32CONFIGSYSTEM then it says please put in restore cd and press "r" for the repair menu. I put in my restore cd and the options were to just do the windows xp files, No Format or Quick Format. The first option the computer said was least destructive so I tried that route and brings me back to the same black screen w/ the same error msg. I went to microsoft.com to print off the instructions for the error msg and I can't even get to where the instructions are talking about. I don't want to lose all my files so I haven't touched the other 2 options on the restore cd. How can I fix this with my system?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOver a few days I had a virus, and used various scans, and now it's cleared out, but I seem to be missing a dll file.One that it said was infected (and deleted) was in WINSYS32QBIWF.dll The only thing I now notice, and don't know if it's connected, is when I open Yahoo instant messenger, and click on the name of the person I write to with this, a script error box comes up saying problem loading dll. And do I want to run scripts YES or NO? No matter what I check, the box opens, but, there is no scroll bar down the side of the box. Thus, when the conversation gets to the bottom, I have to close the IM box and reopen it again(blank) and start over.

I have googled it and downloaded it, but I don't know where to place it within my windows directory tree in order to solve the problem. I have tried to place it in the windows root directory, the windows/system directory, and the windows/system32 directory, all to no avail.
The .dll file is MSVCP71.DLL.Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I am running Windows Professional Service Pack 3. After starting or rebooting the PC, just before Windows completely finishes loading, I get a message stating "Error loading c:windowsozuveseb.dll"I can click past the message and work fine in Windows, but I'd like to resolve the problem.I'm assuming that "Error loading" means the file is missing. At least I cannot find it doing a search that includes hidden and system folder. I checked another XP machine, and ozuveseb.dll does not reside on that PC, either.how to determine what this file is, and where to find a replacement?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with Win XP not loading. It stops during the loading process. It does not matter if I try a normal boot, any of the safe mode boots or boot from a startup disk. I know what he problem and what the for the problem is, but I do not know how to accomplish the fix. The problem is caused by a corrupted driver file (agp440.sys). This is for video. If I do a normal boot it stops at tis file. The fix is to disable the file. But to do that I have to have Win loaded. I need a utility that will by pass the Win boot process and give me access to the files on the HDD so I can disable the agp440.sys file. I cannot find such a utility.
Some startup/recovery disks claim to not use Win to boot, but the one's I have tried stop installing at the same place Win XP stops, at the agp440.sys file. MS has a KB for the problem, but it requires being able to access the files on the HDD and disable the agp440.sys file. I could take the HDD out and connect it to another box to do the disabling, but I currently do not have another box. I an in a remote location without easy access to another computer. how I can make the repair without erasing the HDD, reformatting it and reinstalling everything?
I have an EEE pc here, with only 2gb SSD inside, and running windows! (Yes i really would be better off selling it on ebay and buy some lego or something) - buuttt, I had a final thought before doing so; to span the volume onto my external drive. However when I try to convert my external 2.5" IDE 40gb HDD, the 'convert to dynamic disk' is grayed out. I don't know what to make of this, and have found nothing much specific enough on google so far.

When making a DNS server, I pointed my workstation to the server for its DNS, this worked for about 10 minutes. As per Comcast rules about not being able to have a static IP address for the server. How to make a dynamic IP and when it changes just go in and change my workstations to the new DNS which would be the servers new IP?

Before I did that I checked to make sure that the data drive, which is formatted as an NTFS drive, and is a dynamic disk, was intact and functioning ok. With XP installed on the system drive I went to look for the data drive in explorer (have done this procedure on many occasions without problems) and could not see the drive. Go to administrative tools and I see a message that says the drive is unreadable.

The second disk is installed using NTFS dynamic disk. Last weekedend I formated the XP disk, and installed XP again. After installing, the second disk comes up as "unreadable" dynamic disk. Is there a way to make it readable? I haven't done anything to it, so all the data should be there.

after waking my computer up from screen saver and trying to minimize an internet explorer, everything froze. I restarted it by reset switch, and an "NTLDR missing" message came. I started windows by recovery console and I was able to log on to my windows installation (I did nothing, because i have forgotten how to replace NTLDR!). I checked the connection IDE cable to my primary ATA hard drive (disk 0) and the message didn't appear again. Windows started and just before displaying welcome screen "the blue crash screen" came up and computer restarted automatically. I was not able to read the error message because I saw the blue screen just as a splash! I tried recovery console again and it did not recognize my windows installation. then i tried to install windows again. there were 4 drive available.....
I have been having trouble removing spyware etc from my XP Pro machine, I decided in the end the best thing to do was a complete format. I had recently converted my HD and it's 3 partitions to a dynamic disk, without thinking whilst going through the XP text setup, I clicked delete partition for C: and created a new one, this in turn deleted the dynamic disks, I never clicked format after I had created the new partition and quit the installation. I removed the hard disk and put it in another XP machine, I can see the 3 dynamic volumes using the disk management tool and the all say failed, I cannot get them back online or figure out how to repair them.

It is a dynamic disk, and come up as "unreadable" in the disk management tool of windows. after previous reinstalls of xp I seem to recall to get the option to import the disk, but all I get now is the option to change it to a basic disk, which will in turn erase all my data. If anyone could help me with tips on how to access my disk again without losing data, I'd most appreciate it. Or alternatively tell me where I can find a program to pull the data off the disk before I make it basic.

With first XP PRO install I was able to import foreign disk with no problems and data on 200Gb was intact when I connected 200GB drive after updating XP. Because of driver problems on installation, I had to reinstall XP PRO and this time had all drives connected throughout installation. XP saw RAID and 200Gb and i installed XP on RAID array. When I try to import foreign dynamic disk this time it gives me an error," The operation did not complete. Check system log." Log : Error source is LDM. I checked and all sevices are running. 200Gb HDD is in BIOS and in device manager.

I have ran in yet another problem... a BIG problem. My 300 GB Maxxtor Hard Drive now lists as Dynamic Unreadable... I am now trying to find a way to recover my files... I am running a PC Inspector File Recovery Scan and then will be a recovermyfiles Scan. Was wondering if anyone has other ideas to fix this/get the files.
I have with my disk setup. I have 3 dynamic disks which were all working fine until last night when I upgraded my processor and memory. I have fitted an XP 2600 with 333 FSB in place of the 266 version. I also replaced my 512MB of PC2700 with PC3200. I should explain that I did not realise my MB supported the 333 FSB when I bought it. The PC 3200 is purely to give me some leeway for overclocking. Anyway since changing the memory and PSU the PC will not boot at all. I can boot from a floppy or CD but I cannot from the C drive. If I try to restore from a ghost image on another drive I am not given the option to copy to the C drive at all. If I try to re-install Windows or I try to repair the existing installation, I am not given the option to repair at all. I also cannot get into recovery console

There are also ipods etc that connect from time to time. On the Windows 7 PC I have 2 500GB WD Sata Drives. I would like to use the disk mirroring facility on Win 7 but I understand I would have to make the drives dynamic drives. If I do this to setup mirroring will the other systems be able to access the dynamic drive I have created.( They are all sharing the partitions already in use on the first drive, the second drive is currently blank).
Disk Management describes that on my physical Drive (WD5000AAJB) drive is "Dynamic Unreadable" and doesn't display any info about its contents. The drive is a data disk (not the boot disk) and has an NTFS format. It
hasn't been partitioned at any times. HOW i recovery some data from that disk? I try eg. GetDataBack NTFS and i see that there is right data, but how i recover it with out buy expensive license(~100EUR). Is that ISO imgage only way be cause only file straight copy is not allowed(license), BUT i dont have enough free space my other HDD to make ISO image file!
I got a new motherboard installed because my old one fried itself and the pc was reformatted and windows was reinstalled. Since then, it was working fine. The start-up time had also lowered considerably and it was working perfectly for once.One thing that's been happening for a while, my computer started taking longer to start-up. I figured it was just all the programs etc I have installed. Then, I have this one external drive that I got connected internally. There were times where it wouldn't recognize this drive; it wouldn't show up on My Computer.
