ThorConn Wnd Class, XML Error Is 2 And Resource DLL Error
Dec 23, 2009
I downloaded some Mircorsoft updates yesterday and now I am having problems with Outlook 2007 on Windows XP. When I try to send email it just sits in the outbox.
Also, when I'm first starting my computer I get the following errors: XML Error is 2 and Resource DLL Failed.
I have Been fixing a donated old pc and installing a new hard drive. So need to put a new bios so it can read the 40 gig hard disk.Everything worked and boot properly except when I installed the sound card and Ethernet Card keep getting the error code 12 resource error. Don't know what to do should I configure something in the bios or should I looked for another bios file.
When I turn on my computer I get three pop-up messages. One just has a box that says TOPIC! another says delivery manager has encountered a problem and needs to close, and another says resource DLL is missing... Please reinstall application for McAfee Virus scan. I have reinstalled the Virus scan several times but the message never goes away. I don't even know what TOPIC! is and what is a delivery manager?
In Win 98SE when I go to system properties and performance tab I can see a number free resource%.How do I get this number in Win XP and Win 2000? Does a higher figure really indicate that the computer is doing well?
I am running Win XP-SP2. I wiped my hard drive due to irresolvable software conflicts. I reinstalled XP-SP2, Office, Norton, the printer and scanner and my digital camera software package. All were updated and working perfectly until Sunday. I booted up the machine only to get a warning that says One of your disks may have errors let the computer reboot itself (which it will do repeatedly, stuck in a reboot loop) or you can hit any key to ignore this warning. You have only ten seconds to read all this and make a decision.
Once the computer boots up, everything seems to work as normal except for system restore. I tried to restore to the day after I reformatted and installed everything and all I get is an error saying Cannot restore to that point, please choose another point to restore tooor something to that effect.
CNET used to have an online class for making XP run faster, it really worked great. I just reinstalled my XP Prof OS and cant remember all the little goodies do you guys still have those available anymore? As A matter of fact there were all kinds of really cool online classes you could take, but i cant seem to find any. Where did they go?
a message keeps popping up saying the following: Cannot load dialog. Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection. All I can do is click the close button and it goes away and nothing else seems to happen, but it pops up again in a few minutes.
My nephew's company has a server with Small Business Server 2003 SP1 and they run Windows Backup for their daily backups. The event log errors with Event ID 6013 and says:
When I try to install updates from Microsoft's site I get an error saying "Updates were not successfully installed." This happens during both manual and automatic updating. I search google.com high and low and cannot find a fix that works. This is the specific error from the WindowsUpdate.log FATAL: Error: 0x80070005. wuauclt handler: failed to spawn COM server FATAL: 0x80070005: ERROR: Remote update handler container process created (PID: 1656), but exited before signaling event
I have a Dell Inspirion laptop and have formated the HD and removed the partions. Have tried booting from a USB HD and have also tried another burned disk. No change will not install.
i had was my motherboard cpu fan not working in its cpu fan pin, so instead i have it hooked up to a case fan pin. I am not sure if this means i have a faulty mobo or not.
I installed my brand new Creative sound card, I installed its software and drivers all fine and the PC restarted fine. Next creative wanted to update the drivers and I let it. After it was done installling the new drivers it needed a restart. On restart I could not even get to the post screen and was displayed with an error saying USB over current, PC shutdown in 20 seconds. At first i could not get past this error at all, so i tried taking out the sound card and putting inserting it again. I did not get the USB error now and was happy.
I played Battlefield 2142 for a few hours then shut it down. Now today when i get home from work and turn it on i saw that USB over current error again and got frusterated. After taking the sound card out and putting it back in I had some new problems. I only saw my Asus Splash screen saying "press delete to enter setup" although pressing delete did nothing, it just hung on that screen.
window loads, sits, finally other half will load, mouse just doesn't seem to do anything so you click again and 3 minutes later 2 of whatever will finally open... just annoying crap really A few days ago comcast went off and I had to unplug modem, wait, then plug back up and restart system. I got a "Disk read error press control, alt, delete, to restart" error, tried that same thing so I shut down and when I turned back on it booted fine. I have since moved... just set up the system and am getting the same error except this time shutdown/restart isn't working ( The OTHER problem I realize is this... this is a tempory move! Most everything I own is in a storage unit, boxes to the back, furniture to the front and guess where my disks are? Right! I put printer, shredder, disks, everything I didn't just HAVE to have in the storage unit.
Man, my computer for the last two weeks have been crashing like an emo. I mean, when I play GTA: San Adreas, in 20 minutes, I get a BSOD with a stop error. When I put hardware acceleration to full, in a half an hour, I get a BSOD with a similar error. Believe me, I got three kinds of errors, and some were from different time. I believe the problem either came from the either the PSU, new 512 mb of ram, old 512, CPU, system board, or the graphic card. I'll try to post the error as best as I can. So, is there a solution to this? Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) This is one of them, but there another one with KMODE that I can't seem to remember. Also, sometimes, after it tries to recover from a serious error, the computer shuts down during the bootup before I can choose which XP version I can choose. Also, I hate to say this, but I'm not using a legit windows copy sp1, but I have updated to sp2.
i had XP 2008 virus/spyware, which I think I managed to get rid of with Malwarebytes' Anti Malware and System Mechanic 7. Now I have a new problem. After receiving a recent download from microsoft, upon restarting, I get the blue screen of death with this message; STOP: C000021a (Fatal System Error) The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
I can't get anywhere into Windows, I've done F2, F8, F12, everything I could think of without risking more damage. I've booted from the system mechanic CD with the Hard Drive recovery, and while it said it found and fixed a problem, it didn't fix this one.
When I'm trying to start up Windows XP Home Edition I receive an error box without an error message, I can just click YES or NO. Neither option let's me continue. When starting up in Safe Mode, everything works fine.
When trying to install Windows XP Pro I get the following error message "Setupdd.sys cannot be loaded error 14. Setup can not continue. Press any key to exit."
I have been getting the dreaded blue screen of death with STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error)" Error Occurs when i log into my windows 2000 service pack 3 and my linksys wireless usb network adapter connects me to the internet. My computer will remain on and run fine if i do not connect to the internet. This also will happen if i connect to the internet using my backup 56k modem
after I reinstalled Windows XP with SP2 I cannot install my canon fax l-350 german title. The setup quits with the subject's message. I searched the web and found some other people having the same problem
I uninstalled some preloaded Windows programs, I reinstalled some of them, but now my laptop's all funny. When I connect to The Internet, any program that I open freezes for like 10 minutes, after which it unfreezes. During this time I normally restart my computer, with no success. If I open Windows Live Messenger and Internet Explorer 7 together it freezes normally. Pinball, WordPad, Sound Recorder, and Volume Control cannot be restored. Also, I tried using my Toshiba Recovery DVD, with no success. It says Loading RAMDISK Image, then it reboots and loads the exact same system with no changes made.
laptop was infected with the Antivirus 2009 after surfing the web and I removed it using malwarebytes program. Then shortly after the laptop would show a blue screen, displaying "KERNEL STACK INPAGE ERROR" and then reboot. After the reboot, my laptop seemed to run fine, I downloaded AVG antivirus software to check if there was a boot sector virus (?) and after running the laptop for about 30 minutes, it showed the blue screen again and reboots. This kept on occuring.
Then I tried to reformat the laptop. The first time I tried to format it as FAT32, it got to about 60% before rebooting. The second time I managed to get past the formatting (FAT32 [quick])and I got onto the part of installing windows. About 20 minutes into the installation. A stop error appeared "STOP C0000218 Unknown Hard Error". Could the hard disk be corrupt
After around 10-15 min after logging in a program error box opens up saying winlogon.exe fatal error then it switches to a blue screen saying fatal error c0000021a error. I have windows 2000 proffessional and a HP compaq nc6120 laptop.
I have purchased a new wireless keyboard and mouse (NGS). The keyboard works fine. When I installed the mouse the driver installed was a windows driver, and the mouse would not work. When I try to install the driver that came with the mouse (not digitally signed) I get the following message "The class installer has denied the request to install or upgrade this device"So I cannot get the mouse to work. Can I override this interupt ?.
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'cih333@suddenlink.net'. Subject 'Batman!', Account: 'pop.suddenlink.net', Server: 'smtp.suddenlink.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 Authentication is required to send mail as <cih333@suddenlink.net>', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
I keep getting this error message when I boot. The entire message says, "windows explorer has encountered an error and needs to close." When I close the box, i lose my desktop, and can't run a bunch of programs, including the "run" option. I am able to run my browsers and get on the web. I did do a system restore, and it worked at first, but then on the next reboot, i got the error message again. Did another system restore, same thing.
trying to copy pictures or word document to a 4 gig san disc. The message I get is cannot copy ....: files on this cd-rom drive are read-only. You cannot copy or move files over to this cd-rom drive.
whatever i tried in the solution provided, i still cannot connect to msn. at first i though it was my windows problem so i format my c drvie but after that i still can't connect to msn. after i close my firewall or disable my firewall it also can't connect. i changed to direct connect(b4 this i was using modem router). i also can't sign in for my window messenger. anyway i can sign in for web msn messenger.
My system is slow, Malwarebytes came back with error 714 (0,9), so uninstalled using add/remove programs - but even that continually showed error code thru process. Have now reinstalled Malwarebytes and running scan - nothing detected on scan yet. Tried to print on Dell 924 Photo printer (which has worked fine for 5 years) and came back printing error. Tried to add/remove MS SQL 2005 program, wouldn't allow me to uninstall. this program had error messages at startup, wasn't even sure what it was or how it got on the system, so decided to uninstal after inquiring on techguy software forum. but it wouldn't let me uninstal it. I think the program was probably related to high school technology class with the boys.
when i go to the time settings and click on "Update Now" on the "Internet Time" tab, i get an error message saying that Windows can not synchronize the time. I checked the even viewer and found the following related error messages.
Every time I try to use Microsoft Works Task Launcher I get an Error Report. When either the 'Send Error Report' or 'Ignore' button is clicked, Microsoft Works immediately closes down. I have disabled Error Reporting in My Computer to no avail, as the error message continues to appear
