I'm running Outlook Express on Windows XP Professional. When I send an email the message is sent with an undisplayed warning and the message remains in the Outbox after it has been sent resulting in it being continually resent until I manually delete it from the Outbox. A copy of the message is not saved to the Sent Folder even though the option is checked.I have run Nortons Utilities - and other utilities - and cleaned up Windows Registry and other Windows Errors - to fix my problem (without success). Is my Outbox damaged? Do I have to restore Outlook Express?

Option is to click on OK, but right after message appears it will open the page and I can open all the other net links normally, but not internal pages until message is gone. I've re-installed Firefox. Only thing I haven't done is re-install windows.

About a month ago my husband was having trouble sending emails. I would sometimes, but it would eventually work for me, but still not for him. He told me he had heard about the email antivirus scanners and somehow they block outgoing mail. So I reinstalled our Grisoft AVG antivirus without the email scanner. Now we can not send any attachments at all. Pictures, documents, nothing. I since reinstalled the email scanner since when trying to send I would get the message that a virus was attached. It still happens. It kicks it back along with about 50 messages telling why. Looks something like this..........

View 1 Replies View RelatedMan, my computer for the last two weeks have been crashing like an emo. I mean, when I play GTA: San Adreas, in 20 minutes, I get a BSOD with a stop error. When I put hardware acceleration to full, in a half an hour, I get a BSOD with a similar error. Believe me, I got three kinds of errors, and some were from different time. I believe the problem either came from the either the PSU, new 512 mb of ram, old 512, CPU, system board, or the graphic card. I'll try to post the error as best as I can. So, is there a solution to this?

I can't get anywhere into Windows, I've done F2, F8, F12, everything I could think of without risking more damage. I've booted from the system mechanic CD with the Hard Drive recovery, and while it said it found and fixed a problem, it didn't fix this one.
When I'm trying to start up Windows XP Home Edition I receive an error box without an error message, I can just click YES or NO. Neither option let's me continue. When starting up in Safe Mode, everything works fine.

When I close the box, i lose my desktop, and can't run a bunch of programs, including the "run" option. I am able to run my browsers and get on the web. I did do a system restore, and it worked at first, but then on the next reboot, i got the error message again. Did another system restore, same thing.

View 4 Replies View Relatedran a Repair of windows XP on a machine that was fully updated and working fine. When it finished it says that the copy of windows is not genuine and it needs to be activated. So it tries to activate says there is a problem with the RPC Server. (0x000006ba) and then BSOD's. Safe mode loads fine. it still says the copy of windows is not genuine and cannot start the services to try and get it activated. I have tried running the repair again and SFC cannot run without the RPC Service so thats not an option.

I have had this pc now for 4 months and have been unable to reach their update sight, Whenever I click on their update icon or web site link, I always get the message "CANNOT ACCESS SERVER". I emailed their support site and was told that their site is working properly and to try the usual like disabling any antivirus and download managers, and to enable Java and popups. However when I close the error message it keeps popping up every 20 seconds or so. When I went to microsofts website that told me that service pack 2 was installed on my pc. If I do a Start, Run, \computer it says "The network path was not found."There is no server on this particaular network it's all peer-to-peer, and I've enabled NetBIOS for good luck. Nothing. I cannot ping the other machines by name, either. All other machines in the network run fine.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling components of Network Connections, and TCP/IP is the only protocol installed. I have confirmed that all of the computers are in the same subnet and same work group.There is no firewall software installed on the machine, apart from XP SP2, and I've disabled that.

I've a good internet connection via a dlink n. No problems with firefox V3.6.3 or IE v6 browsing save for Microsoft sites, which are installed on an older Toshiba laptop running xp and service pack 2.
Not that I needed any data from Windows or Microsoft, but I find it interesting that I cannot get any of their websites to come up.
