System Shows Error "system32scfyea.dll" Each Time After Turn On

Every time I turn on my computer, an error message says something like: "C:WINDOWSsystem32scfyea.dll can't be run, rejected" (It is in chinese, so i don't know how to translate it completely >.<) And I have to click "Ok" for my computer to keep loading all the other things before I can do anything.I got no idea what is that, if it is a virus or who knows. What can I do to get rid of that? Or to repair what is damaged if so?

Some time ago I booted up my computer,to find that my XP switched to Windows classic style,I didn't take it seriously so I went to properties to change when I get an error message saying there is a problem with run32.dll,not only that,but the visual styles can't load I assume,becuase of run32.dll,so now I'm stuck with the piece of s*** style.

Each time log in. When i log in,it shows unable to find SVCHOST.exe.Please check the path of the file. Previously,i ended the svchost.exe process suspecting it for virus.From then on am having this problem.In Start menu i have lost some utilities like paint,calculator.

I am trying to install Windows XP Home for a friend. I set the BIOS up to boot from CD and inserted the Windows XP install CD. When the PC boots up I get the following error message: Cannot boot from CD - Code: 5. The CD ROM spins up and sounds like its working fine. It was working fine before I tried to install.

Hi everybody, I hope somebody can help me out.Whenever my computer that runs on XP starts up, I get this message saying,C:WINDOWS/system32 gsvr32.exe,he NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. S:0549 IP:0188 OP:Of 00 00 02 01 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. If I click ignore, more and more just keep popping up so I just end up choosing ignore.

Everytime I turn on my laptop the wireless network connection thingy in the lower right hand tool bar has a big red x on it. Yet, I can connect to the internet. Would anyone know why this does this? I have tried going to "Wireless Network Connection Properties" and then "Wireless Networks" and actually removed my router name. I then reboot my computer, am asked for network key, enter it, and when I restart my computer the same thing happens. This is not a real "problem" but it certainly is very annoying.

My computer has been running really slow lately, and whenever I turn it on there are two error pop ups saying that some files are missing.I also downloaded Registry Booster, because I heard it's pretty good, although the free version doesn't do much, and it says I have 994 registry problems.

Lately i've been having some problems with my pc. Some of the programs that i use seem to have an error with it. For example, when i'm using opera a box pops up saying an error has occured with opera and needs to shut down the program (asking me whether to send an error report or not).This is not the only program that does this. Even Media player, bittorrent, winamp, windows messenger, actually its most programs.Sometimes i get an error with 'DrWatson Postmortem Debugger' which causes my pc to lock up.A few times i got a blue screen error. Each time that happens the pc restarts itself and then i get another message saying 'system has recovered from a serious error', again asking me to send an error report or not.

It seems my recycle bin keeps saying I have 17 items, i keep emptying it but it always says the same thing. I open it up to look inside but there is nothing there. but it shows files in it every time.

I have not had a problem for a while regarding my desktop icons not refreshing, but have recently had my recycle bin display as the full icon when it has nothing in it? When I click refresh in the recycle bin menu,it remains "full"(I have even checked to see if its full by opening the "bin,but nothing shows up after opening it),and I was wondering if anyone familiar with this particular problem might have an easy solution?

Lately, sounds that have usually be associated with turning on or off peripheral equipment such as a printer of scanner are sounding quite often with no input from me, even when the machine's been idle for awhile. Every time i turn on the computer, it restarts by itself before i can log on. then it will just endlessly restart itself until i shut it off. occasionally i can hold esc and it will log on properly, but it takes a really long time and doesnt always work. I am using a Windows XP laptop, and i did a virus scan and deleted all the dangerous files. I even unchecked "automatically restart" for a system failure and nothing happened.

After a period of time my computer will turn itself back on. This is after I have completely shut the systems down. I have never found if there is a fixed time period that this happens. What I mean is I don't know if it happens after two, three, four hours. All I know is that when I get up in the morning the computer is back on.

Windows XP SP2 seems to be working normally, when I click Shut Down the computer proceeds to turn off. Afterwards the harddrive powers-down, the fans stop running, etc. Then for no reason, the computer turns back on after a brief period of time off (varied: 1hr, 15min, 8 sec) as if someone pushed the power button.I did not install any new software, or update/added on new hardware when this problem started to happen. Im unable to trace the source of this error

Okay so I usually leave my computer on all the time. I went to bed and when I got up it was off and couldn't get it to turn on. So I assumed it might be the power supply so I went and bought a new one from stamples. He turned on for maybe 5 seconds then turned off. so I took it back thinking maybe I didn't have enough watts. The higher watts didn't doanything. I am lost without my computer can anyone help? I have Win XP..Could it be the fan? Even though the fan worked when i plugged in first PS...Second didnt do anything. Could it be something to do with motherboard?

Only the webmaster has to know about every single script error. To turn off the error messages that pop-up, do this: Go to Tools, Internet Options. Click Advanced on the far right. I've been troubled by viruses and trojans on an older computer (Pentium4) and decided to reinstall XP from the disc to see if I can "start over". I have another primary computer, so it doesn't hurt me to lose all the files etc. I'd rather start with a clean slate. Anyway, the XP install from the disc with SP1 went fine. Then I installed SP2 per the request of the windows update monitor. The install proceeded fine until a copy error occurred.Copy Erro Error occurred while copying file sprb0414.dll.Cannot copy file to directory.

I bought a new dell dimension. i removed the hard disk& put a new unformatted Hard disk.i wanted to install win xp.The Hard Disk is unformatted i boot the system using xp cd. it loads files then it shows setup is starting windows then it shows a blue screen error.

I have XP Home version and have had some unusual issue wth System Restore. When I bring up utilities for system restore, it shows drive I as the system drive instead of drive C.I can sort of understand why this might happen because I installed a new 200 gig drive 5 months ago and made my old C drive I. My system tells me that C is my boot drive and I am not having any real problems except with restore. Looks like something is wrong in restor's database.

i do scans quite a bit and delete alot of things everytime. there is the msn spyware thing that keeps coming back after i delete that, as well as many other things i dont even know about. some of my devices just shut them selves down from time to time (mouse, scanner/printer, and otherthings i cant remember but the key board is fine) and after a few seconds turn back on. and the whole thing just crashes sometimes. i did that scan thing but im not sure if i did it right.

Windows XP SP2 will begin installation, but about midway through the install,
installation stops with the same error message. The error message is (access
denied). I have tried countless times to install this update using automatic updates as well as using the CD, all with negative results I'm about ready to update my operating system to XP Professional, I have XP Home Edition. Before installation I followed all the preperation instructionsfound on the Windows website.

Sometimes when I cut/copy folders from one location to another the process will stop and give an error message cannot move file with a red x. Clicking on ok cancells the whole cut/copy operation, which can leave you wondering what has or has not been moved and requires trawling through source and target location. Gets a bit annoying when it happens fairly often.

I've never had any problems with my computer in the past, I look after it as well as I know how but have recently been having problems with The Sims 3 (a lot of people are having issues with it). My problems related only to the game play and I had them sorted out and fixed finally. I played today when it crashed on me. After about an hour of waiting I still could do nothing to get the crashed game off. I had tried all the key commands I know, including the obvious ctrl + alt + del but still it was going nowhere so I switched my computer off at the tower. I know, stupid, but I could see the waiting game was getting me nowhere.
Anyway, now whenever I turn the computer on, it does the initial load, then it takes me to that black screen asking if I want to run it in safe mode or start it as usual and after that screen, it starts to load up windows but stops and takes me to a blue screen. This is the message on the blue screen - A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.....
