Anti Spam Filter That Can Be Downloaded?
Oct 13, 2006Does anyone know of a good anti spam filter I can download, please, to filter out spam BEFORE it gets to my in box in Outlook Express?someone suggested mailwasher, but apparently you have to go thru mailwasher first, a little inconvenient.I know Zone Alarm and Norton filter it out before it goes in, but separate from that, is there another programme that I can download that does it the same way??I am tired of getting a couple genuine emails, and 20-30 spam ...

Sep 15, 2005How come when I tried to update outlook 2003 junk email filter it keeps saying it failed. Then I tried to go to the website to download directly from them instead of windows but it still did not work. Also, when it said that i need to install activeX it failed because it does not know publisher. and the icon keeps popping up saying I have to update but everytime I try to update it it keep failing.

Outlook Express Email - Not Receive Email
Aug 27, 2005I just got a new computer with WinXPHome. All works OK except I can not receive my email into OE 6, all email stays with AT&T's Webmail, which I do not want to use. My old Win98 computer has no problems with getting my email. The settings on both computers are the same. I have disabled NAV email scanning. I have no idea what to do. I like OE, and want to continue using it.

Dec 20, 2009When I launch Internet Explorer 8 on my XP Pro machine, some crap starts loading, I see on the bottom of IE various sites (also clicking noise gives that away. The funny thing is, nothing pops up, does not re-direct.. And this is weird but all the sudden some gibberish sounds start playing... Sounds like multiple audio into one. I am in IT business, so I tried finding the source in Task manager, fully scanned for worms/trojans, you name it, and nothing was found!!This issue also locks up my IE, and I need to kill it... What the hell is it?? How do you troubleshoot something that only comes out from PC speakers??

Jul 26, 2005I have a need for transfering file sizes that exceed most ISP limitations.
These transfers would be between 4-5 individuals to start. I am considering
the FTP protocol. Can anyone recommend good host sites (I am looking at GoDaddy.com and a couple of others) plus what is a good program to prepare and send/receive these files? Another problems is the amount of spam/virus filters now being put in place almost everywhere. Our tranfers will xontain some .exe files and that causes most of these filters to declare them a virus or at least suspicious.
AVG - Anti-Spam Detects Adware.BiSpy Or C55bLs.dll/bi.dll
Feb 14, 2008I ran a scan with AVG and during the scan it found "Adware.BiSpy". That sound ominous. It recommended I "Ignore Once". I decided to delete it instead.
But when I go to delete, A grey box pops up that says:
" WARNING: C:WINDOWSsystem32C55bLs.dll/bi.dll cannot be removed because it is embedded in the archive C:WINDOWSsystem32C55bLs.dll. Do you want to remove the whole archive?"

The message also states that the driver I need to correct this problem is on the VIA AGP Filter Driver Disk. I have tried to find this disk to download it but I have not been able to find it.
