Firewall Block To Download Belkin Programs
Feb 25, 2007Hey I am trying to connect my Belkin router. I have bell south. And when i have all my stuff connect then try to connect online with my bellsouth to start the install process on the Belkin install program. Well first it won't connect the bell south thing thats not allowing it to download the belkin program. I think its a firewall or something blocking it but not sure.

Apr 25, 2008I've just tried turning my computer on this morning and it's not quite working - I'm on a friends computer at the moment.I'm running window XP, I have recently had some help from the 'spyware, malware' section of this forum in removing some virus's and trojans, we managed to stop all the intial problems however now.When I turn the system on, it does it's first page fine (the one that has the system information) then goes to the screen that says "windows didn't start successfully, a recent hardware or software change might have caused this" and gives me the start up options of 'safe mode', safe mode with networking', 'safe mode with command prompt', 'start windows normally' and 'last known good configuration'. I've selected all the options once and they all do the same thing - once selected it goes to the windows xp screen and looks likes it's loading then a blue screen with some information on it pops up for a micro second, the system then restarts itself and goes back to the safe mode options screen.

Not OS specific, just some completely viscious way so I never-ever see that pop-up, pop-over, pop-under again. They have limited user accounts. My sister and my mom have accidentally screwed up some settings before, and deleted files and such, there better then they used to be, but i don't want to take any chances. I can use parent controls for AOL but not sure how to use Restricted Sites on IE When I start to type (my site) several URL will show up. Do I use all URL or do I just type (www.mysite.com). This is a 12yr. old girl and she forgot all her password (LOL) so when I try it using Fathers side on IE it says restricted in bottom right corner but it will go to log in screen for the site. She is restricted from computer till she turns 18 if I don't get it resolved.

Feb 16, 2005My up to date anti virus told me the other day that it detected a trojan virus but that it was treated or whatever. well, today i go to get on my computer and all the websites say they cant be displayed or that the web browser is not working or my cookies are disabled. I have done all sorts of things that i read on here, i updated my Microsoft updates, i went to privacy and lowered that, i restored defaults on internet options and stuff. After all this I was able to see websites and check my email. But there is still stuff i cant do. I cant pay for my ebay, i cant play my games at yahoo. It directs me to a page with a little white box and some red and blue shapes in it. I am glad that i was able to at least get on the internet but i also need to do a few things.

Viewing Images On Some Websites
Nov 20, 2005I have a problem with viewing images on some websites.I have a Dell Dimension 4600 Series computer, I use Windows XP, IE browser, and I have Norton Systemworks premier 2005 Antivirus program on my computer. I also have spywareblaster from javacool site and a popup blocker.The main type of websites I have trouble viewing are websites with e-cards. I can view the e-cards but when I click on them to view to send..I get the tiny box with the red x in it.One in particular is the Hallmark.com site..I only get a blank background with the box & red x on the main page. If I go down to the e-cards and click on it.I can see the e-cards but again, when I click on one to send, nothing but the blank with the box & red x.Also I have tried to download the Macromedia Flash Player. I click on the download box, the next page that comes up, there is nothing to click on, only a box with the red x. That is as far as I can get.
