Network Printer Only Print Up Two Sided Prints?
Jun 29, 2005I'm printing to a network printer. Everytime a print up a multi page documents it prints it back to back ( 2 sided) How can I take this function off?

Unable To Get Prints From Network Printer?
Jul 4, 2005I have a 3-computer home workgroup that connects to the internet via a Netgear router. I have a Lexmark X74-75 printer/scanner/copier that is connect to one of those computers, and that computer is connected directly to the router. The other two computers print to the Lexmark via sharing. This setup has been working without issue for about 2 years, but in the past week, everything seems to have gone to hell, including the ability to print. This description may be a little long,but I have to be everything I am about to relate is somehow connected.I will do my best to also advise what I have installed, removed, etc., during that period.

May 22, 2006I have a dell 2400 series PC running XP home edition. My Dell A920 printer stopped working. When I uninstalled and tried to reinstall it, I couldn't get it to reinstall properly. I used the original CD and I also downloaded a driver from dell.com. Neither worked. I tried to install a new Samsung ML-2010 printer. I used the included CD. It finished the install and when I tried to print the test page, it wouldn't print. It appears in the print queue as "printing" but never prints. When I reboot, I see a message on the system tray saying new hardware detected, there was trouble on the install and new device may not work correctly. I tried to do a repair from the enclosed Samsung CD but it didn't fix the problem. When it tried to print the test page, it said "not responding" in the blue bar across the top of the page

Aug 12, 2008I have installed a printer in a remote location on four machines. They all run Windows XP (SP2 I think). It works perfectly on three of the machines, but will not work on the fourth for some reason. It installs on a TCP/IP port just fine, and we can view properties and everything, but it will not print at all. I have no physical access to these computers, so cannot provide very much more information about them, but I'll try my best.

Starting this week, (maybe-- maybe after I downloaded the new security updates) my printer does not print when I command it to. It just freezes, until I restart the computer. When I get the cntl-alt-delete prompt, then the printer kicks in and prints what I commanded. I don't even need to log on.

It sounded as if it was getting the signal from the computer, but nothing would print. Rather than buy new cartridges, which would have cost more than a new printer, I bought a Dell 720. Now, the color prints fine, but I cannot get the black to print. The cartridges are just about full with only a small amount out of the black cartridge.

Aug 17, 2005I have connected 3 new PC's on a P2P network, and connected a HP 4610 Color Laser Printer via a JetDirect 175 print server. On one PC, I can only print from the Administrator account. The other 2 computers work fine. On the one that is having issues, when printing a test page I receive a "Failed to Print" error mesage, and looking in the printer jobs menu, it shows that there was an error printing. The
Administrator account can print fine from this machine.
The user accounts are "restricted user" accounts on all 3 computers.
All 3 computers are exactly the same type, and all have the latest
updates.

Mar 9, 2007My printer has just started not to print all the full colours. It is an all in one HP PSC 1410 and now prints everything as either Yellow, Light green or light blue. I have changed both the colour and black cartridges and the computer is seeing them as full, but if I scan or print from computer it prints say the colour purple as light yellow and red as bright Yellow etc. I have tried removing and reinstalling software but that didn't cure the problem.
