I was having some problems with AVG firewall trial and finally just formatted and reinstalled my Windows XP. Since then, I am unable to access my Microsoft Office 2003 files. Whenever I try, I get a message telling me I don't have sufficient permissions to access these files. I am the only user and have full admin rights. I am also using a trial version of Office 2003 and was before formatting. Has anyone had any experience with this type of problem?

I have Office XP loaded on my PC, with added graphic filters, conversion filters and the 2007 compatibility pack loaded. Just yesterday, I tried to open a Word 2007 doc (.docx) which usually opens with the added compatibility filters. When the conversion list appeared, there were only 5 items listed, where there should have been around 20. Can't figure out where they went. I reloaded my filters and compatibility pack, but still can't open file and only get 5 items in conversion table. It almost seems as if the filters are being turned off. Any ideas? Is this a registry problem?
