Jan 3, 2007I use the online Blog feed from Pluck. It was setup on my toolbar before I installed IE7 but I can't figure out how to find it now.

Certain Buttons On Internet Explorer
Jul 15, 2005A classic, I don't what I have done scenario, but when I click on some buttons in Internet Explorer, they don't work, when right clicked they say 'Undo' etc, not the normal 'open page in new window thingy. (Can you tell by grasp of techie language that I am certainly not an expert??)Also, sometimes half the web page does not appear and sometimes nothing at all comes up at all.. It does not appear to be anything to do with my pop up block, on or off, it does not seem to matter, any advice to an irritated Scots Lass?

Jul 27, 2010I have Windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3 and I've noticed recently, that when I am online, my puter will all of a sudden get knocked off the server. I dont' know why this so much, nor how to fix the problem. I get the message "can't find server", with Firefox and Internet Explorer. I then have to log off and reboot, which costs me money as I use my computer in my small business. This is very frustrating and I need to know how to fix the problem. I recently moved to an apartment from a house and I'm wondering if that may have something to do with it. maybe all the signals in an apartment setting are crossing or something.

Feb 11, 2006I was told by Comcast that The Fan (a feature) was freezing because I needed to reinstall IE 6 I have no other probs with freezing anywhere, my Java is ok. It used to be just fine, until I installed some pay-for-viewing add program. I have uninstalled it since then, but the slowness remains. And the processor is hogged, at the highest level, even though i killed many a startup processes.

For about a week now when you start windows and login as a user or administrator and even safe mode explorer crashes as soon as it starts and every time you try to restart explorer it crashes again. I can do ctrl-alt-del an start a new task other than explorer and the task works just fine but explorer will not work. I've ran anti-virus and spy-ware software and found nothing. I've removed all software that isn't a Microsoft product and still no luck. I would just reinstall windows but I can't find the CD.

Apr 17, 2005A friend of mine installed the Mozilla browser and I didnt like it so I uninstalled it. Anyways to make a long story short..Since then,In the address bar (ie icon), and all my internet links (internet shortcuts) show as an unassigned file type now. So for instance if I drag an http link from my browser to my desktop...it does not show as an ie link anymore (just a random file type). So when I right click my internet links and say "open with" internet explorer it works. However...when I select the check box "always open with this program" it will not change all of my internet shortcuts appear with the "IE" icon like it should

Explorer Doesn't Find Existing File
Jul 15, 2008Windows XP Home, version 2002, SP2. Windows explorer will not find files that I can navigate to. Since I can navigate to them I know they exist. I'm looking for heart rate monitor files using .hrm as the search term and WE says it can't find any files. I can go to C:/program files etc. and get to the files. File formats are xxxxxx.hrm, with xxxxxx being the date. Searching for .hrm on my laptop finds all of the files with no problem.
