Errors In Registry Mechanic Found 800
Jan 14, 2006Registry Mechanic just found 800 bad stuff on my pc. It cant delete them all because it needs to be registered and I dont know what to do about the stuff it can delete

Registry Mechanic Does Not Delete Registry Entries
Jul 13, 2006I tried to delete the registry entries which were bad, I had 30 of them, but the these two will just not go away, even by doing them manually, such as saving as a backup then deleting it manually and remerging. They just show up no matter what I do, or so use programs like Registry Mechanic, which I found only mediocre, very far from the ratings. to delete these two entries somehow from someone who is actully knows how to without using several so called registry cleaners, which only work partially.

Jul 3, 2005I have recently installed and used Registry Mechanic and decided to accept to repair abut Four Hundred faults as I noticed I could reverse the repair if there were any problems. I am delighted to say that there were none but I noticed that the box for repairing shortcuts was not ticked. On ticking it I was found to have about four hundred faults again connected with shortcuts, can I safely repair these problems as I did the first lot or should I know about something before I decide to use the repair function again, I would be grateful for some advice as I am new to Registry Mechanic

Oct 19, 2005I ran registry mechanic V5 on my office XP machine. It ran smoothly and when I chose compact registry and it finished, it asked me to restart windows, I accepted, and it restarted, after the windows logo, the screen goes blank (black) and does nothing, I restarted again, and chose last working config, the same thing, screen goes blank, and when I restart using any of the safe mode configs, the screen not only goes blank, but there is a blinking cursor on the upper left corner,
I tried to run a Repair install of the Windows XP CD, but, I don't have the "R" option in there, only "ENTER" to Install, "D" to Delete the currenyt partition or "F3" to exit. I don't know how to work with the Repair console I also would want to know what happened if there was no error reported

Dec 4, 2004When I start the computer, I get a screen freeze and have to press Ctrl,Alt,Del once before any programs will startup. A lot of probs with internet connection and slowness while surfing as well as a lot of pop up ads in my face.
There are system boxes coming up with registry and dll errors and the whole system seems SLOW.
BSOD During PerfectDisc Scan Or Registry Mechanic Scan
Nov 19, 2006I went to use PerfectDisc yesterday, it suggested I do a bootup scan, I did, allowed it to do pagefile scan too. Ran fine. Then rebooted, went to do regular scan. it locked up on the Blue Screen of Death.
"Bad_Pool_Header" and gave some error info... 0x00000019, and so on.
Computer runs fine though otherwise, which is funny.
Then when I try to go to Registry Mechanic and scan, it goes all the way through, and on I believe the deepscan, it always goes to BSOD there. I think while it's in the HKEY section of current user.
There may be other programs that will cause the BSOD, but these 2 are the only ones so far. Please guide me through this....Anyone.

Aug 26, 2009When I boot up my computer, I get several messages from Windows which read this way: "[insert file with a .exe extension here] - Corrupt File The file or directory C:WINDOWSsystem32UACmqiemusiwu.dll is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility." This message comes up every time that I try to run an executable file and seems to prevent some of them from running altogether. I can run Chkdsk in Safe Mode, but after it completes file verification it says "Errors found. CHKDSK cannot continue in read only mode." I have a virus (Total Security 2009) that is preventing the computer from displaying the command prompt in regular mode, but the programs that I need to get ride of the virus are all executable and cant be installed because of this glitch. Any help with what this file UACmqiemusiwu.dll is or how to fix it would be great. I've tried deleting it, but the computer won't let me because it is corrupt and unreadable.

System Crashing Occasionally: Getting Errors For Registry?
Feb 7, 2006I have a brand-new computer, put together by a relative with almost all new parts. It's running Windows XP. Occasionally it crashes, sometimes I get error messages about the registry, and every once in a while the clock is wrong. I understand a bit about stop errors (because of Microsoft's nice error-reporting service) but I don't know how to find out what is causing them. Something about a driver, but how do I know which driver?
The computer seems to crash randomly, not with any discernable pattern or regularity.I suspect there's something wrong with the DVD player- music sometimes skips if I'm playing from a CD, and once the computer crashed while I was playing a large video file. Then again, I've played DVDs with no problem quite a few times and I've always been able to copy and burn. When the computer blue-screens, it shuts down before I can read any of it.

May 17, 2006A few days ago I started getting registry problems, applications not wanting to startup right and ect. Then it was followed by shortcuts crapping out on me. When I clicked on the shortcut to see what was wrong it said there was a .LNKtx problem with the .exe or somethign to that notion. I can bypass that problem fairly easily without a fix, however when I do that and load somethign such as a game it will cause the CPU to either a) shutdown program or b) make cpu crash and restart.

I use the free version of Grisoft's AVG so I ran a scan and it found 3 items, one of which was taskmgr.exe infected with Trojan horse SHeur.NOZ. It said it fixed them so I rebooted. The other 2 were svchost.exe and svchost_tmp.exe also infected by SHeur.QCZ

AutoChk.exe File Not Found - Down Loaded Registry Cleaner Program
Sep 29, 2008I downloaded some Registry cleaner program and I guess it was a crappy one because it must have deleted a whole bunch of important registry files. I had to reboot my system and got a message saying "ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupted" so in my infinite wisdom and panicked state I ran the XP recovery disks that came with my laptop (see laptop details below). But for some odd reason it just installed another version of Windows XP. Anyways after some sleuthing I used the XP disk to copy over the "ntoskrnl.exe" to my HD and all seemed okay as my original version of XP booted up okay, but then I get a blue XP screen saying "AutoChk.exe file not found- skipping AUTOCHECK" and the system restarts
