Hardware Drivers :: Delete USB Registry Key - How To Back It Up
Jun 10, 2014So, I bought a new watercooler a corsair h100i (yay), before that I had a faulty h80i and replaced it. To make the system recognize the hardware I had to change some registries under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetEnumUSBVID_1B1C&PID_0C04 there were two folders (which I believe were one for each USB entry in my mobo hence I connected the watercooler to both of them when testing.
But after I installed the h100i which uses the same software it didn't work, so I tried to delete older USB entries so maybe windows would detect the watercooler as new again, but it dind't work, so I used USBoblivion and nothing happened, so I decied to delete those folders, well I couldn't delete them but the folders are gone, so I can't edit that. Is there A way for me to back that up?
