I had Excel 2007 on Windows XP and now just upgraded to Windows 7. Excel 2007 (also tried the beta of Excel 2010) does not work well. The PASTE function losts it PASTE FORMULA and other paste special options. Sometime, it shows up but most of the time it's not there. CUT/INSERT cut cells are also gone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy laptop has been playing random ads and music, literally out of nowhere. I click out of everything turn off the wifi AND logout and it will still be playing. Its been doing that on and off for months. My other protection expired some months ago, so I got the update last week which was $89. But the 1st thing it said was to "Uninstall the previous security system". So i let it run, and it was "uninstalling" for 3 whole days and then it just stopped, So i tried to manually uninstall the other program, but again it would not. I am not sure what to do now.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSo i returned to my work computer after lunch and the resolution had been changed to 800x600, very odd.Now i have spent 2 hours trying to get back my resolution to the 1680x1050 that is was before but i still can not choose anything higher then 1600x1200 under Screen Resolution settings. The one with the correct ratio i can choose is 1280x960 and i'd like to bigger one back.I have updated the driver for my graphics card (ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics accoridng to Device Manager). I have updated the driver for the Monitor (HP LE2201w), but the monitor still shows up as Generic Non-PnP Monitor under Device Manager and now i am out of ideas... I really have no idea what the hell happened when i was gone.(And yes, the computer was locked so it wasn't someone else changing something)Uninstalling the driver for the Generic device does nothing, it pops back up again after installing the correct display driver, or after a restart. It's like the display driver i downloaded from HP is not being installed, no idea why.

- Go to start > control panel > program and features > From the left menu select > Turn Windows Features on or off Deselect IE9
- When asked to reboot > reboot
- Go to start > all programs > windows update > on the bottom left in that screen you see Installed updates, click it Now search for the Internet explorer 9 and possibly the language pack
If you have the language pack installed deinstall this First (no need to reboot, continue your work) and then deinstall Internet Explorer 9, reboot. Now you have your Internet Explorer 8 back. Possibly updates will need to be installed.
So today i installed the drivers for my razer deathaddder mouse on my laptop. The installation went fine, but the problem is it seems to have taken over or just messed up the configuration for my touchpad. After installing, the touchpad moved really slowly even though i hadn't changed any settings, and the acceleration had turned off.I decided to uninstall the drivers to reverse the problem, but it didn't change. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the touchpad drivers (latest synaptics drivers, same ones i had installed before), but this didn't solve anything either. I've tried fiddling around with the mouse settings but everything is configured the way it was before, it's just not the same.I want my touchpad to go back to the way it was. Is there any way to get all the mouse settings back to the way they were when i installed windows or something like that?

So can I format Drive C, where Windows 8 is installed on top Windows 7, and restore Windows 7? I have an x64 system, so do you have a verified x64 "Windows 7 boot from USB and install" iso file?
