Error: "Error 1722: The RPC Server Is Unavailable"
Apr 30, 2012
The audio services worked fine at first. But after optimizing the system for gaming and security, the "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder" service fails to start. It gives the error: "Error 1722: The RPC server is unavailable" This is required for the "Windows Audio" service, so I have no sound now. Does anyone know the cause of this error? Here are the services that I am running...
Application Experience: Manual
Application Information: Manual
DCOM Server Process Launcher: Automatic*
Group Policy Client: Automatic*
Human Interface Device Access: Manual
[code]....
Should I be running any additional services? I skipped Vista and am still using XP.
I set up a Homegroup with my old PC so I could pull over my music and movies. I am able to see and copy my videos over, but the music folder keeps giving me the "refers to a location that is unavailable" error.
I just tried to watch a movie on Netflix, and it prompted me to upgrade Microsoft Silverlight. I saved the file to my desktop, and when I tried to open the .exe file, I got this error message from Windows Installer: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
I tried moving the downloaded file to a different location, but it had no effect. I apparently can't play any movie now from Netflix, since I have to update Silverlight before I can play anything.
Just combined 2 partitions today, copied back all my program back to my pc that were on my J drive (second partition) to my now 1 partition (c) but when I try to run them I get an error:
"The program (program name).ink is in a unavailable network drive or unavailable."
Also if I try uninstalling, repairing, or re- installing I get the error:
I have a Dell Inspiron 560 and Windows 7; previously I had a Dell 5 years old and Windows XP. I am trying to access a website I have used previously with success but now am receiving error msg: Server Error in '/' Application, Runtime Error. I was able to access this website on my old system.
I keep getting this popup and it says 'The email server is currently unavailable!'. It happens regularly but not all the time and sometimes all at once. You know like buses! Thanks for your help in advance!
P.S It seems as though it's nothing to do with the email client.

I am trying to forcibly end a protected program in the windows 7 cmd (taskkill /S system /U domainOwner /F /PID) and it is telling me that the rpc server is unavailable. How to forcibly & permanently delete/cripple a program.
I have a Macbook Pro w/ Snow Leopard 10.6x and I recently installed Parallels and Win 7 Prof x64 so I could access many of my military sites. I was up on the internet in my OWA, I had just gotten my CAC reader to work so I could access my email from home, when my computer got an update push and restarted. Once it rebooted I no longer had internet access and keep getting the DNS error message. I have tried setting the "preferred DNS & alternate DNS" addys and I will show an internet connection for about 30 seconds and then it changes back to no internet. I have tried turning off my Win Firewall and my Virus Barrier X6 software/firewall to no change. I have been on a Mac for about 2 yrs now and am trying to get the hang of Win 7 so I'm not great at the DOS Cmd like code for looking at everything. I have tried a few of the suggestions but nothing has worked and I don't know enough anymore to identify a problem when doing ipconfig /all etc. I have an Airport Extreme router that works fine with my macbook & my husbands Macbook as well, both wireless and ethernet. I however cannot say the same for the Windows partition and I don't remember enough to know where to look to trouble shoot any router issues etc. This issue basically nullifies the purchase of Parallels and Win 7 since I now can't get on the internet.
Iam facing occasional net connectivity problems even though the internet connection is available ( which i have verified through ubuntu 11.1). My system configs are
Mobo :asus p8p67 pro Operating sytem :Windows 7 home premium 64 bit Lan Card :Intel(R) 82579v Gigabit network connection. Modem :Teracom ADSL broadband modem with wire Memmory : 8GB transcend Browser : Google crome, mozilla, IE, opera
I am getting the error code 105 ( not always) which says DNS server is not looking up. The connectivity will be restored automatically after some time. I have tried all available browsers but in vain. But the modem is indicating a connection which i have further verified by testing in ubuntu. Is it a win 7 centric problem ?( it is not a Lan card problem as it is working in ubuntu, sony internet TV)

Basically what the title there says, the quotations show the only information given to me on this issue. I've turned off Comodo as I read on a different help topic that they can sometimes interfere,I'm using Home edition, 64 bit, if that helps at all.ackup software to use perhaps? Basically, my computer has had issues with it before (some that have completely stumped even my most tech-savvy friends!) and after multiple instances in the past solved only by a full re-install, I'd like to make sure it -stays- functional, without me having to wipe my drive due to some inexplicable error and fully re-install again.
My internet isn't working too well, it shows great signal strength and says its connected but won't let me access the internet. It works if I reset the router but I keep having to do this as it only works for a limited amount of time sometimes for 5 minutes sometimes for 5 seconds. I keep getting this message when I try to access the internet:Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server's DNS address.
had some virus problems which i mannaged to fix using Malewarebytes antimaleware.after the removal i tried to install and update a mcafee antivirus. while trying to update it i got an error message, for which the solution was supposed to be runing the following code:Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll but i got an error message saying something like (it's not in english originally) The module c:\Windows\System32\Ole32.dll was loaded but calling Dll Register Server failed with error code 0x800070005.

I keep getting an error unable to reach server when using Nortel VPN client. The strange thing is sometimes I can connect and other times I get the above error. I have tried rebooting, even reinstalling and the problem comes and goes.
I receive this error regardless of the browser I'm using but I am connected to the internet; I can connect to steam and update games for example. The issue is tied solely to the inability to load websites. Mine is the only computer on the network that is displaying the issue.
