Live Mail Server Error 0x800CCC90

If I try to retrieve mail(I sent from another PC) The box for each email account pops up and asks for password. It's in there., the box is checked But it still asks. Over and over. Then errors for all 3 email a accounts say bad password? Of course, as I go back to xp pro (dual boot system) email works as it should, same setup, same passwords?
What am I missing? Here is the error message:

I get trhese error messages along with user name and password, I do not use a password and I have reentered my user name. I still am unable to receive or send emails.

I can't seem to find the setting for "leave mail on server" for Windows Live Mail.
I click on the account, go to properties and go to advance. The little box is not there that allows me to keep mail on the server.

My sent messages are not being saved in sent Items folder either on server in IMAP or in Sent Items folder in Live mail, also not saving with POP account either, they just seem to disappear on me.

outlook error 0x80042108b I can recieve mail from this server but not send any mail I have just set up this new work account, the rest of the poeople in the office can send and recieve ok I have uninstalled Macfee software but still no joy

The above is the message I get when I try to send or receive mail. It states Error ID 0x800CCC0F. On googling this it advises restore system to an earlier time, but that has not worked.

I have imported my Outlook Express files into Live Mail (from an XP machine to a laptop running windows 7) using the import function in Live Mail. When I look in the Storage Folders there are no files to view. In the Quick Views I am able to read and see unread emails from Outlook Express but not emails that I have read on my XP machine.To do the import I copied the files from the XP machine to a USB stick and then on the laptop browsed to find the files on the stick. The folder containing the OE files in not read only.

I'm having a problem sending email with Windows Live Mail. Here is the error I am receiving:

With wlm I can't log in to yahoo mail account:
No trouble with logging in to LIVE.com account.
But yahoo gives me error:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Yahoo (vmars316) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

When I am in Windows Live email and I navigate away from the page to a link I get a message that states "There was a problem sending the command to the program." Then I click "OK" and it goes away until the next time. All was working fine until a few months ago.

When I receive emails with a link to web sites, I can not click on the link to be redirected, (other than right clicking copy and paste into browser). Instead, I receive an error message that reads: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or if one is installed, create an association in the Default Programs Control Panel"

I am running avast as anti-virus but hadnt done any changes to that when this message came up.I've since tried the "repair" function on the Install/Uninstall for WLM but no luck.I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Avast. Every 5 minutes a popup window announces error 0x800c0148 and details show that outgoing mail was not sent, which I have verified. A system reset back 10 days did not stop the error. I have Webroot anti-virus but it caused no problems before.

For quite a long time now, I've been unable to sync my email via Windows Live Mail. Everytime I try to send and receive, I get this error message, so I have to go and use a browser to read my mail which is really annoying. I tried googling the problem, the only solution I found was to due a registry scan + fix, which I did with Auslogics, but it's not fixed it. All the other problems I found were slightly different to mind and were usually unsolved.

I normally scan my document directly to the WLM to send it. It was working fine previously but today it gave me the following error:
An unknown error has occurred.

I've tried going offline, delete the file in the outbox then relaunch WLM and go online again but it didnt work. Whenever the scanner finished scanning, attaches the image of the scanned document on the email and it activates the log on screen for Windows Live Messenger as well.

Intel / Win7x64, resources are OK. Following the common spine of these threads WLM was uninstalled, Reg entries removed by hand, the store folder copied away to a safe place, no beta was ever installed, several reboots, no Norton, no Mcafee, etc, deleted the two LM folders in Program Data & program Files, ran zapmessenger.exe,
Tried to install WLE 2009 (as this may install core files WLE 2011 requires but cannot find if WLE / WLM has been removed) with no success. Why? wlsetup-custom.exe finds remnants of WLE / WLM 2011 still hiding somewhere on the disk. Like so many others nothing allows a re-installation of WLM.

I have a Dell Inspiron mini with Windows 7 starter with 1 gig of Ram. I use Microsoft Security Essentials. I did not use it for 2 months and when I turned it on 2 days ago, 22 win updates we downloaded. Now when I try to use Win Live Mail to download E-Mail from ATT.NET, I get a 0X80004005 error message. I tried to turn off E-Mail scanning but it did no good.
