I receive this error regardless of the browser I'm using but I am connected to the internet; I can connect to steam and update games for example. The issue is tied solely to the inability to load websites. Mine is the only computer on the network that is displaying the issue.
View 1 RepliesI am using Windows 7 together with Windows Live email, which has been working ok until of late.My internet provider is Yahoo and emails in there are ok, but I prefer Windows Live email however this will not work when downloading emails as an error message comes up saying the server is in error and one has to reapetedly click on receive emails until they are all downloaded,surely Windows email should work no matter who your provder is can someone enlight me as to why BT Yahoo fails with Windows live emails.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically, an assortment of websites have trouble loading. Some times they will take a couple refreshes to load, sometimes they will load in HTML after a long time, and some don't load at all. Sometimes a website will work fine, but then not load the next day. It's starting to really piss me off, especially since it affects such websites as:
- SoundCloud
- Twitch.tv
- Justin.tv
- The Escapist
- Facebook (occasionally)
- Many more!
As far as I can tell, this all started a few months ago. My internet spontaneously stopped working. I called my ISP (TelstraClear NZ), and the operator did some troubleshooting. Eventually the problem just seemed to fix itself after I unplugged and replugged my modem; I guess it reset my connection.I have a SURFBoard modem and a Netgear wireless router.The things I've done to try fix are:
- Changing my DNS servers - many times
- Using a different OS/computer
- Using a different browser
- Pinging the servers of stuck websites. Often I can't reach them with a ping
- Turning off/unplugging my modem and router
- Plugging my modem directly into the computer
I'm at my wit's end as to what the problem is. Everything i can see suggests that this is a DNS problem - the seemingly arbitrary times websites won't work, my inability to ping them, the random assortment of affected websites. The only other thing that would make sense to me is that it is my ISP causing the problem - but only for my connection.
I am having trouble loading certain websites in all browsers. I keep getting messages that say the connection timed out. Certain websites like google and hotmail will load. others like wikipedia will not. yahoo.com loads sometimes and not at others. I called my ISP and they say I have malware. I do not understand how they know this. I have run a scan using malwarebytes and no malicious items were detected

Some websites work fine, and my computer still seems to be very fast, however other sites will not load. Also certain photos in facebook and other sites will not load. Need to get this fixed ASAP as I work full time on my comp.

Now suddenly, when I'm trying to go into large websites, everything takes halfway to forever to load. I even restored to any earlier point. Still the same problem. (By the way, I had difficulty restoring. I kept getting error messages. In the end I uninstalled Kaspersky, restored to an earlier point, reinstalled Kaspersky.)

The packaging and product description states it's Windows 7 compatible, but in the last 1 1/2 weeks I've been plagued with problems relating to network connectivity and internet. My current dilemma is that the networking center shows I'm connected to the internet but when I try to load a page the web browser displays "Server not Found." Also when I try to use an internet based program such an MMO it also gives the error message Server not Found also.( Update ) In addiction, just it showed "No internet access", I troubleshot the problem and windows found no solution. Then the network center showed I had no network connections. 4 mins later it shows I'm connected to the internet again. The "Server not Found" error still persists.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI randomly receive "server not found" while browsing on IE, Firefox, or chrome. A refresh or 5 usually does the trick. Even when that works most of the time the webpages arent fully displayed . Sometimes I'll have to reset the router and that is only a temporary fix. I've called Belkin, Geek squad ETC. exercised my options.
Laptop is 2 mos old, (wifi). my desktop(wired) doesn't seem to have these issues.My iPhone 4 when using the wifi has the same random" server not found" issues.

When I installed a few drivers it started to crash every 30 seconds and would take 1 minute until I could move the mouse, then it would do the exact thing. I don't know what I can do but I have took the SATA cables? out of the hard drive and waited 20 minutes, put them back in but the same thing happens. I have clicked the load Default settings on the CMOS Set up Utility but that hasn't done anything either.

Both OS installs are on a single physical drive (drive 0) and partitioned as C: and D: The primary install is on C: and I needed to extend the partition as I was running out of space; however the D: partition was immediately to the right so I needed to use gpart to move the D: partition and make some space to the right of the C: partition.The move went fine, I restarted and I could get into my primary on the C: without an issue; however, when I select the other install of the OS that's located on the D: partition I receive an error that the system cannot boot. how to make my machine dual bootable again?

I was in the middle of catching it up on all the updates and they went in fine except it when it got to Service Pack 1, It will not install SP1. I receive the error code: 800B0100 I also went thru the steps of "Get help with this error" and it went thru "Windows Update troubleshooter" said the problem was "fixed", however still failed the next 4 tries, any suggestions? I am going through my ISP and using POP3 the POP setting is pop.midstatesd.net and smtp.midstatesd.net all of the setting are correct so not sure why I am getting the error. I should mention that I am connecting using a laptop with a Dlink router and do not have any issues connecting to the internet. I am unable to ping the pop.midstatesd.net so figured something was set wrong on the router but cannot find any thing that would be blocking it there.

Obviously all other software applications on the computer were gone when we got the computer back from Dell. I have since reinstalled all software using my last license to do so. I have 2 Windows 7 64bit machines (1 laptop/1desktop) that can access these files fine, however I have 1 Windows 7 32bit that is unable to access the files. (I even think it may have been able to before.)When I browse the network and go to SERVER it says:
"Windows cannot access \SERVER.... the network path was not found"
HOWEVER when I navigate to \192.168.1.151 with explorer it works fine. What I have tried:
* I have removed all wireless networks and reauthenticated.
* I have set all network configs to the most open possible: network browsing: ON, sharing: ON, homegroup: Off and password authenticate.
* Disabled Norton Internet Security firewall (also on the other two computers)
Again this server is perfectly accessible from all other computers (even a third laptop come to think of it), so it must be something stupid with this one laptop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay so, my laptop's system is unable to boot, so I just tried to format it since I have to do that for a very long time, and when it asked me in which partition I want to install windows there was nothing, although when I clicked "Load Driver" I could access the hard disk's files, the hard disk IS listed in the bios normally but windows does not recognize it, I tried using Kaspersky Rescue disk(the only CD I had along with the recovery disk)and when I used the File Manager, the hard disk still didn't show, are there any drivers I have to install?I have burned both fujitsu9that's my laptop) and Seagate's websites and can't find anything, I have searched forums but the only answers were "check if your hd is listen in bios".So, i IS listed in bios but I can't reinstall windows nor access it
