View 2 Replies View Relatedi am searching for a HP NVIDIA GeForce3 64MB Graphic Card driver for windows 7
View 2 Replies View Relatedi just got windows 7 and already see two major problems. one, my graphics card needs to get a driver update but they dont support windows 7 on the website!. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX Series (yes its old as hell) and ive read that installing the vista or xp drivers wont work regardless. what should I do? does anyone know if i can buy a better graphics card for my laptop?
my friend told me HP laptops are made customized for the specific graphics card and i would have to buy another laptop. i am not down to spend 2000 bones on a new laptop with everything working with windows 7 on this current one with the only flaw an outdated driver!!! Is there some other downloadable updates I can find to get my card working?
also, as some people mentioned before, i cannot get the brightness slider to show up in my power settings options. do you think it has something to do with the outdated graphics card i have? So far i havent updated it with any drivers. I really dont want to buy a new laptop...and i also dont want to waste all the money i spent on video games if i cant play them without a driver anymore..
is there a Windows 7 32bit driver for this video card?ati radeon 9000 agp with 64mb ram?

View 4 Replies View Relatedi know this video card is old but where can i get drivers for this on windows 7?
Windows vista updated it's drivers with the one provided by Microsoft but Windows7 don't have it yet..it's currently using vgapnp.sys and hardware acceleration is disabled..hope to hear from you soon..thanks
I have upgraded to Windows 7 and my old NVIDIA driver (GeForce4 MX 440) doesn't work that well. I am trying to install a newer driver and have read that installing one of the newer NVIDIA ones for WinXP/2000 will be OK. However, it tells me that it cannot recognise the operating system as being Windows.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOdd situation. I have two video cards a geforce4 MX 4000 and built in Intel Q965/Q963 installed in a HP dc5700 with 1GB of RAM running Windows 7 Enterprise fresh install. The onboard Intell has the latest drivers from HP and the nVidia I got working using the 81.98 forceware driver.
If I select the nvidia card as the main video card in the BIOS the display will show up on just one monitor (the one plugged in to the card), if I look in the device manager it sees both cards w/o errors yet I have no option for dual display, if I click on "detect" it finds nothing. Also all the nvidia software runs fine.
However if I select the onboard card as the default then the display goes on just it's monitor but this time in device manager the nvidia card has the "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43)" message and obviouly no option for dual monitors.
It would seem both drivers and monitors are working since they work independantly, it's just that Windows7 doesn't seem to want them to play together. Also this situation worked fine when pc was WinXP.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a "SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash" 4GB card and an internal card reader (HP desktop). When I insert the card into the reader, the green light above the slot turns on as if it recognizes the device, but it doesn't show up. Device Manager says that the driver is installed and working properly, and I have uninstalled it,reinstalled it, and restarted my computer. A system restore isn't really an option because it isn't my computer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIm currently running the Windows 7 RTM, and im having a little problem with my sound driver! it keeps installing a standard driver that comes with Windows 7, and i keep getting this message "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
I have managed to download the latest driver for it, but when i try to manually install it/update driver, it says "the best driver is currently installed"
And the second i uninstall it, it installs it again straight away using the standard drivers that come with Windows 7... is there any way of stopping this?

I have a Toshiba A200 2B7, with Windows 7 32 bit OS. The problem is the SD card reader doesn't work, I suspect it's because of the driver and I can't get its driver. I've tried the official website of Toshiba but I can't seem to find it.

When I start the computer, everything goes fine until the OS starts loading network connection. I get the "device plug in sound" and then everything freezes completely. I have to wait about ten seconds and after "device unplugged sound" the computer works, but only for five second or even less. This continues for about 10-20 minutes every time I boot up the computer.
The problem does NOT occur if I plug of the lan cable. That is not the solution though because the problem continues immediately after I connect the lan cable back. I have tried system restore, installed different network drivers but with no luck. What could be the problem, maybe it is some hardware problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter installing Windows 7068 I have had problems with the Ricoh xD card driver from MS update. First time BSOD for me with Windows 7.
So far this is the only version that has presented this problem. Even downloading the driver from other sources does not help. It installs the driver and then I get this
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
Finally decided to just leave it alone and see what happens.

I pressed FIx and after a short while got a box up saying there was no driver for this card on windows 7.Is there any way I can get round this and perhaps use a driver for another version of windows?I have tried various helps including Microsoft and been told to click on the driver I have put on the desktop and do various things with it (or something like that, I can't find the window again) I havn't got a driver ?I can't afford another computer.I managed to download a piece of software advised elsewhere on this site and got the info that the sound card is realtek ac'97 for via(r) is this a type of sound card?
update II I managed to download and run a driver from an internet site (download cnet) for the realtek ac97 for windows 7 but it has made no difference. I have restarted the computer but the sound from the speakers is the same. Could it still be a software problem or do I have a hardware problem with the sound output?
