View 1 Replies View RelatedI am desperate! I recently installed windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on my DEll Machine's. It has and add on DVI video Card Silicone Image model SIL1364 ADD N-2 I have looked everywhere including under the sofa and cannot find a driver for this card. I went to the Silicone Image site and it appears they don't make the cards or support it. From their site they very vaguely send me to Intel where I found nothing. I have 4 machines all with the same add on card.
View 4 Replies View Relatedcomputer : Asus g53sx - a1The video card is an nvdia gtx 560Mi use windows 7 64-bitthe problem is.. the notebook keeps loosing the driver for this card. I turn the computer off and when i turn it on again the resolution is set to 800x600 and i can't find my VGA not even in the device manager. The notebook came with a cd that has the driver so i use it and install the driver (now it doesn't work). after rebooting it comes back to the original 1920x1280 resolution... but then it begins again... i turn it off... and quen on... back to the beginning. Now, when i try to install the driver from the cd it fails... used the resolution as an example but all the features of the card are disabled ...for example gaming or using any 3d animation program, because the onboard card cannot stand this activities.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Optiplex G520 and I, unfortunately, am running Windows 7 on it. Since installing Windows 7 I have had problems with my video card. Certain websites will not recognize my video card or say it's outdated. However, I had no problems whatsoever while I was running Windows XP. Is there a driver I can install to fix it, or does anyone know of a good graphics card I can buy that will be compatible with both my computer and Windows 7?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy monitor displays this image every now and then "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 301.42 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." For some reason it gets worse and worse. At a certain point it just freezes. I got this video card only a few months ago so I doubt that it's about to die. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a ATI Radeon 9250 video card and I need a driver for it. I have the Windows 7 7100 build. If there is a driver can someone please post the link or where i can find it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have windows 7 7600 x64 and using the newest official Catalyst drivers from ATI for the Radeon 4890 1GB video card I own.
However I have noticed some little issues in games. Two games Im currently playing Trine, and Mass Effect show what I call a tear (its not anything missing) but when your running around you see a visible line move its way up the screen like your watching a fast refresh on PC-Anywhere or something.
It does not effect the game at all, or slow it down and its not 100% of the time its when your running or moving side to side etc. Always while in motion.
I thought maybe it was a vsync issue so Checked that in the graphic settings for Mass Effect but no difference. Does anyone know what Im referring to if there is a proper name and how I can go about reducing it or eliminating it in games?
In Trine it does it as well when IM running and jumping around (side scroller).

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust used the restore disks to install Windows XP. When it was done installing all the drivers it never installed the Video driver. GPU didnt show up in the BIOS either. I updated the BIOS. It now shows in the BIOS. Shows VGA Card: Quadro FX 2500M (512MB). So I figured I would be able to install the Driver now that is recognizes it. Nope didnt work. Not sure what the deal is. What could be the problem?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo My new Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit PC doesnt seem to want to sleep. I'm away to work for a day at a time and when I get home the PC is up and running.I found this article:Windows 7 will not sleep or not sleepingwhich indicates to update driver, particularly the video card driver. I go to the vendor site and download the newest driver. I go to Device Manager open Display Adapters and find my card, double click on that and I'm in the properties. The driver date is 9/2010 so there is definitely a newer driver. Click on update driver/search on computer and navigate to the folder where I downloaded the new driver. I click next and get "Windows has determined that the current driver software for the device is up to date" and thats it, no apparent way around.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed windows 7 64-bit on my Acer laptop. It has a Nvidia Geforce 7000M video card. Windows 7 only sets it up as a generic vga card. I have tried all of the drivers I have found and none of them work. I am not able to use the dvd maker or other programs because of this. Any ideas? Cheryl
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using xp home edition and I just bought the SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 4650 1G AGP. The current version of my driver is 8.620.0.0. I found out that there was new updates for the driver. When I tried to make them a bug came in my system. I tried manually to locate the files for the update but still didn't work.
Anybody could pls have any clue about that?
i just bought a new video card (EVGA GTX260) yesterday and installed it and played with it with no problem....(one day later)......until now so basically here what happens now. when i boot up it goes through the "starting up" phase and when the window 7 says "Welcome" after that i just get a blue screen, no word no picture just blue!
So i press the reset button and i am only able to go to my desktop menu by safe mode! and if i try to go through "start up computer regular" it would just lead me to the blue plane screen....
The reason why i think it is the driver is because in safe mode i am able to uninstall my nvidia driver. Restart and WOW i am back to my "REGULAR" desktop menu but with no driver. SO as soon as i am on my screen Window 7 wants install the newly detected video card's drivers for me and i do. when i restart BAM! back to the blue screen..
