View 1 Replies View RelatedI am desperate! I recently installed windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on my DEll Machine's. It has and add on DVI video Card Silicone Image model SIL1364 ADD N-2 I have looked everywhere including under the sofa and cannot find a driver for this card. I went to the Silicone Image site and it appears they don't make the cards or support it. From their site they very vaguely send me to Intel where I found nothing. I have 4 machines all with the same add on card.
View 4 Replies View Relatedcomputer : Asus g53sx - a1The video card is an nvdia gtx 560Mi use windows 7 64-bitthe problem is.. the notebook keeps loosing the driver for this card. I turn the computer off and when i turn it on again the resolution is set to 800x600 and i can't find my VGA not even in the device manager. The notebook came with a cd that has the driver so i use it and install the driver (now it doesn't work). after rebooting it comes back to the original 1920x1280 resolution... but then it begins again... i turn it off... and quen on... back to the beginning. Now, when i try to install the driver from the cd it fails... used the resolution as an example but all the features of the card are disabled ...for example gaming or using any 3d animation program, because the onboard card cannot stand this activities.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Optiplex G520 and I, unfortunately, am running Windows 7 on it. Since installing Windows 7 I have had problems with my video card. Certain websites will not recognize my video card or say it's outdated. However, I had no problems whatsoever while I was running Windows XP. Is there a driver I can install to fix it, or does anyone know of a good graphics card I can buy that will be compatible with both my computer and Windows 7?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy monitor displays this image every now and then "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 301.42 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." For some reason it gets worse and worse. At a certain point it just freezes. I got this video card only a few months ago so I doubt that it's about to die. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have windows 7 7600 x64 and using the newest official Catalyst drivers from ATI for the Radeon 4890 1GB video card I own.
However I have noticed some little issues in games. Two games Im currently playing Trine, and Mass Effect show what I call a tear (its not anything missing) but when your running around you see a visible line move its way up the screen like your watching a fast refresh on PC-Anywhere or something.
It does not effect the game at all, or slow it down and its not 100% of the time its when your running or moving side to side etc. Always while in motion.
I thought maybe it was a vsync issue so Checked that in the graphic settings for Mass Effect but no difference. Does anyone know what Im referring to if there is a proper name and how I can go about reducing it or eliminating it in games?
In Trine it does it as well when IM running and jumping around (side scroller).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. The original installation went just fine, but I never did test to see if transfer speeds were any faster. The instructions specifically mention to install the software first, then the hardware. Recently, I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 Ultimate (x64). I never did remove the card. I tried running the software with the hardware already installed. Well, the drives are recognized and all, but the transfer rate between the two drives (one is Seagate 3.0 and one is WD 3.0) is only around 50 MB/sec...USB 2.0 speed, right? So, from what I've been able to find over the past couple of hours is that I can't contact WD about the card. They know nothing, and the product can't be found on their website. In device manager, it's listed as NEC Electronics, and it seems there's been some combination of forces between NEC Electronics and Renesas.
1. I have found updated drivers and firmware for NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 cards, but they are broken down into different models or families. For instance, most of them use a number along the lines of uPD720200/uPD720200A Version 2.1.27 WHQL uPD720201/uPD720202 Version 3.0.8.0 WHQL So, how do I find out what my uPD number is, so that I grab the right files?
2. Do I need to uninstall current drivers/software, remove the card from my PC, install the correct drivers, and then install the card back into my machine (See bit about installation instructions near beginning of post.) OR can I just find the updates and install them without removing the card? If so, do I uninstall the old drivers, or just install the new drivers and firmware over the top of the existing files?
