I have a dell inspiron 6000 and I got mobile intel 915GM/GMS,910GML express chipset family for my graphics card driver. I want to play the Dimension U game, so I have to update my graphics card driver. But I can't
After I reformatted windows 7 I notice that it looked funny and that my graphics card was set to standard and my monitor was set to generic pnp monitor. Ive downloaded the graphic card drivers from amd but they still dont show up.
Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601) Dell Inc. Studio XPS 1645 A13 System Service Tag: 2T6BCN1 (support for this PC) Chassis Serial Number: 2T6BCN1 Enclosure Type: Portable
I want to upgrade my GF daughters PC, she has a Dell Optiplex GX260 and I know the Graphis card will not support Aeros so I want to buy a new graphic card for it and it has to work with windows7, can some one tell me a good card to put in to it.
I purchased motherboard with the manufacturer number of MB.G0409.005 (MB.G0409.005 GATEWAY MOTHERBOARD DESKTOP BOARD SOCKET AM2) on 2/3/12. I had put it into my system and then proceeded to install upgrades from the Gateway website. I saw there was a BIOS update (file: 924G1P11.ROM) available so I tried to update my BIOS. Well, after updating my BIOS with the .ROM file that I had gotten from their website [URL], but after that, the on board ATI graphics adapter is no longer working. I tried to contact Gateway with no luck and them telling me that they don't recommend updating the BIOS. I also tried to contact the place where I purchased the motherboard from and they said that they didn't have the original .ROM. The motherboard is also not listed on the Foxconn website either. I am running Windows 7 x64 Build 7601 and I have also tried using a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS live USB and that did not work as well. As far as I can tell, the BIOS will not even recognize it. I am now currently using a NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 graphics card that is plugged into the 16x PCI-E slot. I have found modified .ROM files that someone had done for this motherboard, but I don't want to risk it. And every forum and post I've come across has dead links to ones that someone has made a copy of the .ROM file and uploaded from their motherboard.
My system is a Gateway DX4300-15e with 6 gb's of DDR2 RAM (originally 8 gb's of RAM, but a 2 gb stick blew out from a power surge, hence why I had to get a new motherboard) with a AMD Phenom II x4 970 Black Edition Deneb 3.5GHz Socket AM3 processor.
I had to reboot my Windows XP (32 bit) After i downloaded NETFRAME 4.0. When i did, my pc hummed to life, but my monitor (A E19T6W) registered that my GTS 250 1024 MB Card was not reading. I check multipul times, looking at the graphics card as it runs. The fan works like it normaly does, but the display is not working. I am now running on my intergrated motherboard (Asus A8N-LA) Which is a Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE, and i do not know what to do. I tried removing the mobo battery for 5 minutes to reset the board, nothing. Ive tried to reinstall my drivers, That does not work. I Removed NETFRAME 4.0. That dose not even seam to help any. I do not hope it is a bad PCI slot, (had the motherboard for 3 years) but are there any suggestions available? [code]
I've completed a new custom build, but have had problems with BSOD from the beginning with any installation of Intel Graphics drivers or the installation of any graphics card.
When I first completed the build, the XFX-7950 Black was installed. I booted to BIOS without issue, but when I inserted the Windows 7 (64 bit) it would boot through the windows logo screen but immediately BSOD right after going to the first install screen.
I removed the graphics card, and was able to complete the full Windows install without issue. I updated Windows and the drivers on the system but as soon as I installed the Intel 3000 Graphics driver, it would BSOD on every restart. I recovered back prior to the Graphics driver install and installed all other drivers. I updated the BIOS to the latest version.
I have reattempted the XFX 7950 multiple times in different slots, but with the same results. I also attempted my Radeon HD 4550 from my old computer but it gave the same results. It always boots through the Windows logo screen, but BSOD within a few seconds of reaching the password screen.
I broke down and installed Driver Whiz, which did detect multiple outdated drivers that I had not caught, but none of these fix the issues.
I've attached the requested zip. I don't think all BSOD's are showing up, as I've had to use recovery points after installed drivers didn't work. The last .dmp on 19 JUL was a Intel Graphics driver install attempt that I pulled off in safe mode before recovering back to the pre-driver point.

I have a sony vaio z227 laptop . it has a amd radeon hd 6650m graphics. but I can't update my driver from the amd site because the site doesn't have drivers for switchable graphics ! and the sony site doesn't update its drivers ! what should I do?
have been having a problem since the time i switched over to win 7 64 bit from XP 32 bit..Got the win 7 7264 (64 bit) setup on my comp. tried installing the latest driver downloaded from Nvidia , 190.38 for my GTX 260 (Palit), but for some reason the installation doesnt proceed. have been facing the same problem with Vista and XP (both 64 bit) now..
the installation progress bar reaches around 30% and d monitor restarts and then the bar is still at d same position it earlier was and doesn move. have tried a few other drivers like 182.50 but for some reason none of these drivers gets installed..
the only breakthrough i had was when i installed it in win XP 64 bit when it started popping up the driver signature error..i believe the same issue is happening in Win 7 and Vista too but not sure.
So I've been trying to install a new graphics card update called "Nvidia update components 1.8.15" which I'm not sure if i really need it but I've been having a lot of problems with games like Call Of Duty: Black Ops lagging and I'm thinking I need this update but when I go to update my card it says it Failed here's a picture and my specs...
Operating system is windows 7 (64-bit) Graphics Card is GEFORCE GT 540M Processor Intel i7 2.00 (turbo boost up to 2.9 quad core) Ram 8 GB
I have a graphics card usr5699b that was working for a short time on win 7 but after 2 days it caused my video cards to mess up possible driver issue or irq conflict. Is there anyway to make the drivers compatible with win 7?
I am running XP and intend to go to Windows 7 shortly. I want to cover all of my bases and get my updated graphic driver before the switch. I went to the manufactuer site and they did not have Windows 7 drivers listed yet. I have seen other posts on here about updating Mirage 3 drivers and was wondering where they got them.
I am looking for working drivers for "All-In-Wonder® 9600 256MB Graphics Card" This is also known as a," All-In-Wonder® 2006 Edition"
It is the AGP type of card.
I am running Windows Ultimate 7 64bit.
I googled it but there seems to be nothing out there that will work 100% for a 64bit version of Windows 7.
I really just want the graphics portion of it to function fully. The tuner would be a bonus. I just emailed Ati/AMD and they responded with this email:
The All in Wonder 2006 is a legacy chipset. There are currently no announced plans for drivers for any of the legacy products to be developed in any operating system including Windows 7.
The legacy All in Wonder cards are supported up to XP SP2. They have no support in any operating system higher than this from AMD Customer Care. In Vista drivers where released for the card and input features. This is not the case for Windows 7, there will be no drivers for the video card or input features of the card in Windows 7.
Currently the Theatre 750 TV tuners are the only tuners with drivers from AMD for Windows 7, Theatre 650/600 tuners should have drivers released in the first quarter of 2010.
PCI Express based Radeon HD2400 series and higher Radeon based cards have drivers and support in Windows 7 from AMD.
In order to update this service request, please respond, leaving the service request reference intact.
I have Sony Laptop VGN-AR 870 Windows 7 x64. Using NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. I want to update to the newest version available for my graphics card, which is Version 280.26 but when I go through the setup it says "This graphics dirver could not find compatible graphics hardware". Well what the hell does that mean? I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded this driver specifically for my 8600M gt card.
guys i instaled the radeon hd 4800 series driver for my sapphire radeon HD 4870 xvapor 2gddr5 graphics card but for sum odd reason when it goes on my desktop it shutts down n restarts after 3 seconds... or less.. What could be wrong ?
i just bought a new video card (EVGA GTX260) yesterday and installed it and played with it with no problem....(one day later)......until now so basically here what happens now. when i boot up it goes through the "starting up" phase and when the window 7 says "Welcome" after that i just get a blue screen, no word no picture just blue!
So i press the reset button and i am only able to go to my desktop menu by safe mode! and if i try to go through "start up computer regular" it would just lead me to the blue plane screen....
The reason why i think it is the driver is because in safe mode i am able to uninstall my nvidia driver. Restart and WOW i am back to my "REGULAR" desktop menu but with no driver. SO as soon as i am on my screen Window 7 wants install the newly detected video card's drivers for me and i do. when i restart BAM! back to the blue screen..
i installed the rtm and for some reason i cannot install my graphics card "ati radeon xpress 200 series intergrated" on my computer i use the installer but it doesnt find it, it only has standard vga.
I have brought graphics card from friends old computer[DESKTOP]. He lost the driver cd and cannot remember its series or manufacturer. There is a sticker on it which says: GF 9400gt 512 mb. I installed the card win 7 booted up. It detects the card as standard vga graphics adapter, device manager says device is working properly gives me 1024x780 resolution. So I tried 9 series gf driver from nvidia. It says no compatible hardware detected. NVidia auto scan same result. How can I know which card actually i am using? If it is gf 9400gt 512 mb then what is the problem with driver. In device manager hardware id is like this:
Working with a MSI r5770 and an NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GSO. The unrelated drivers are (NVIDIA Geforce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i)I changed my video card and when I booted the machine to install the drivers, Windows automatically started doing just that. Problem is they are the wrong drivers. I tried downloading and installing the correct ones, but only two things happen:
1. If I uninstall the incorrect drivers through Device Manager and then try to run the .exe that would automatically install the drivers, the installation completes but nothing apparent happens. I "Scan for hardware changes" or just reboot as per instruction, and the wrong/unrelated drivers are just installed again.
2. If I try to update the driver through device manager by manually selecting a directory which contains the driver, it will tell me that the faulty unrelated driver is the best and most up-to-date driver.
For the record, the sequence of events:
1. Replace MSI R5770 with old NVIDIA GeForce 9600GSO after noticeable performance drop in former.
2. Windows 7 automatically updates with wrong drivers(NVIDIA Geforce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i) for the card. Can not get any signal from card.
3. Switch back MSI R5770, it automatically installs the exact same driver(NVIDIA Geforce 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i)
upgraded laptop from winxp pro to win7. need graphics driverof ati radeon 9000 graphics card msft supplied a win7 driver dated 2009 for card but unable hardware acceleration
a few days ago on boot up my laptop restarted and then attempted windows repair. came back to life. tonight while viewing Internet my screen went black. i had to hold the power button down to restart. i chose start windows normally. when attempting to load windows i got a blue screen saying "attemp to restart display driver has timed out". after a few attempts i have managed to get it into safe mode and deleted the nvidia graphics driver. restarted and all was fine (low resolution). i installed the graphix driver again an it happened again. is my graphics card broke?
the nvidia driver does not detect my graphix card so i have to add it in the setup information file. but i have had no problems for about nine month since i bought this laptop second hand.
i joined this site for another problem a few days ago. slow speeds and constant hdd access but had a good clean out and was going to see how it went. then this happened. i do not think they are related.
I recently updated my windows vista to windows 7. But for some strange reason windows 7 wont recognise my graphic card. The graphic card I have is NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT,, and I have tried to install the drivers from NVIDIA website but it wont let me install.. it says "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue" and at the bottom is says "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". When I go on Windows Experience Index.. everything seems to be fine except graphics and gaming graphics:
about a year ago I had a problem with my pc where I would get the error message "display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered" and the occasional BSOD. I solved this problem by simply flashing my bios. However a similar problem has now arrived ( note I have not changed any hardware since the last error) where:
- There is a constant buzzing from my monitor ( NOT a problem with the monitor as it works fine in safe mode with no buzzing, which is why I suspect a gpu problem)
- I get random "display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered" messages, but no BSODs. OR the display just goes black and I have to hard reset my pc.
My computer graphics card seams to be rolling back its driver updates automatically.i have a radeon 5770, and the only update tht sticks is 8.851.0.0, the newest update driver for my graphics card is 8.902.0.0, why does it always roll back whn i turn my computer on?
