my pc is suddenly shut down and blue screen seen and restart againand after starting work again than see msg check online solution your window not workingor close the program
I was using my laptop when all of a sudden the blue screen appeared and restarted automatically. And also additional info. My laptop's battery is broken for several years no so I used the adapter for power so I think that might have cause some problems with the way I used my laptop. I uploaded the files
I have a pc since 2007 with the following characteristics:Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Box;Motherboard - Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi-APMem Ram- OCZ DDR2 4GB PC2-6400 Gold GX XTC 5-5-5-12Internal Harddrive - Seagate 500GB SATAII 16MBGraphics- Sapphire HD2900XT 512MBDVD/CD - LG DVD-RW GSA-H44N 18XTower - Thermaltake Soprano DX BlackPower Source - LC-Power 850W Arkangel V.2.2 140mmMonitor - Samsung 206BWSO - Windows 7 64bitsEarlier this year it started freezing when running new games and the fans made a lot of noise. After a while it started freezing all the time so I decided to clean it up. It had tons of dust that I removed and I even applied thermal paste MX3 to the processor. Everything went well for a few months but now the freezing has restarted. Basically, I turn it on and it freezes while doing small stuff like opening firefox or steam whithin a minutes.
Normally the screen goes black but the lights in the tower stay on and the fans keep working. I have to manually reboot and then it just works normally with no more freezings. This is a temperature scan that I made just before one of the freezes:Sometimes a blue screen appears and the following error is issued:Assinatura do problema:Nome do Evento de Problema: BlueScreenVerso do SO: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3ID de Regio: 2070Informaes adicionais sobre o problema:BCCode: 116BCP1: FFFFFA8003DF94E0BCP2: FFFFF88003A93408BCP3: 0000000000000000BCP4: 0000000000000002OS Version: 6_1_7601Service Pack: 1_0Product: 768_1I have all the lastest drivers installed.
On startup, the Windows desktop shows up, but after a few seconds the screen went blue, with no text of any kind. When I turned my computer on and off manually, I get a black screen that asks me if I want to go into safe mode. It says to use the arrows keys and press enter to choose which mode to go into, but the keyboard is unresponsive at this screen.
What do I do? How do I get into safe mode? Do I need to bring my computer in to the computer repair shop?
My system is:

So I just built my own pc and i am having trouble booting it. When i turn it on, i have to choose wich mode i would like to open in. And wichever one i choose it shows the blue screen for a half a second and restarts. Then it just keeps on doing the same thing when i start it.
Yesterday I got this virus, I went and bought trend micro titanium and cleaned it up (was using a free30 day trial of something else) but I'm still having a problem. Whenever I go to shut down or restart my computer, it starts doing it like normal, but right at the end I get this blue screen with a bunch of messages written, it last about 5 seconds while a countdown happens at the bottom of the screen, then it restarts (even if I went Shutdown).
Sometimes minutes after I log back into the user, the blue screen comes up out of nowhere, does it's 5 second odd countdown and restarts. I should get minidump files. The countdown at the bottom of the blue screen is called "crash dump" or something like that. With the virus whenever I tried to open an internet explorer or google chrome window, all that would come up was "win 7 home security", I'm not getting that anymore though after doing the full scan with trend.
Additional info: I have windows 7, my pc is a HP Pavilion laptop, model number is DV6 - 2144TX

I've found that when whenever I let my computer go to sleep, hibernate or restart it or shut it down then a blue screen will appear and restart the system. When the system comes to it will tell me the event name was Blue Screen and that the computer is recovering from a unexpected shutdown.I'm currently running my computer on the High Performance plan and not letting it go to any other mode?By the way, my system is a dual boot with Windows XP. XP is on my main drive and 7 is on my second drive.
Basically the main problem is that whenever my computer is left running for any given amount of time, them I will get a system restart. I would be transferring a large amount of files from a hard drive to a backup overnight, only to find myself on the login screen and half of the files transferred next morning. Or I'd be playing a game, surfing the web, even the simplest of tasks, it doesn't matter.
I am currently running Windows 7 64-Bit (A perfectly legal version too lol)
Here are the problem details of the blue screen. I am very certain it is the same exact problem every time. Problem signature:

I recently built a computer (specs below) and have had few problems until recently. About once a day, the system will go to the Blue screen and restart. Upon restart, it says that the Video Card stopped working properly. Obviously I'd think it's that but don't know where to start.

I set WMC to only keep a certain number of episodes, (10 or less) then to keep 'Until space needed." However, it keeps recording episodes. For some, I have 30 or more episodes. I have to delete them manually by leaving WMC and doing it through Windows explorer. How do I set WMC to only keep the number of episodes I specify? I have a Ceton infiniTV tuner card, if it matters.
I'm still 3 days old to Windows 7 and i had this problem.
I installed the latest driver for Windows 7 for my display card ATI HD3870 and downloaded the driver from the official website.
My problem is, after installing the driver.
The installer didn't prompt me to restart the computer.
But since my notification area didn't appear any of ATI icon so i restart it.
But yet after restarting my pc i still don't see any icon and i went to check program files and i saw ati technologies but inside it i don't see a single item.
It's an empty folder.
So did i went to device manager and right click on my display driver and press update driver but it says I'm on the latest driver already.
whenever I open an icon in my laptop it automatically shows "preparing to recycle" from discovering items in win7 & delete this short cut message window opens up. After several minutes it would stop. I cannot close this popup window.
I am reinstalling Windows rather often, but would like to do this without creating a slipstream DVD. Windows update has this tendency to wait a couple of hours before telling you that it has found an update. Is there a way to launch the updater agent on startup and then restart the computer thus installing the updates and running the agent again? I must say that installing updates is a pain where the sun doesn't shine since you need to watch it in order to reboot and launch the updater 6-7 times on a fresh install.
started recently, when I boot my PC, the screen shows message: no signal and screen stays dark. However, in the background W-7 is loading, but in order to get the video functioning, I must restart the PC, turn off the screen, wait till W-7 loads somewhat and (like after 10 sec.) turn the screen on and everything is OK.Monitor is NEW Video card too, I tried with a second one, same problem...My question is, is this W-7, main board, or something else related?
My video card died a few days ago so i had to start using my integrated Intel HD Graphics.i have once screen at 1920X1080 and the other is 1680x1050 and when ever i maximize a window (firefox for example) it overlaps on my 1st screen. imgur: the simple image shareris a image of both screen and you can see the window layered onto the start of my screen under the start menu orb.
When I open the services.msc utility (e.g. Control Panel => Administrative Tools => Services) it opens showing the "Extended" tab which only shows a big dark blue blob in the upper left corner and nothing else (i.e. not like on my other system, where this tab show "Select an item to view its description" on the left and the list of services on the right).
I always first need to switch to the Standard tab toi actually see anything.
Why is this so? What do I need to fix/adjust/clear to get normal behavior on this? And why and how this bug make it over from my XP system?
one day it suddenly crashed while i was watching a movie. it displayed random patterns on screen. kinda like part of the image from the video is on the screen then a black strip and random colors. I restarted the unit to safe mode and left it on and browsed the net and downloaded some big files for how many hours and nothing happened.. there are also times when windows is still loading with the windows logo on screen, it crashes. there are also times when the login screen is displayed and it crashes. it just crashes randomly! so i tried to reformat it. i deleted the partitions and created a new one, formatted it then fresh installed windows 7 ( my previous OS is windows 7 by the way) and started installing the basic drivers and after a few hours, it crashed again...thinking that the driver installed might not be compatible, i tried another fresh install of windows (same execution, delete partition, create, install OS) and this time, without installing the drivers, it crashed again after a few hours... sometimes it crashes immediately after turning it on from cold start!
Running Windows 7 Ultimate N x86 on a Dell Inspiron 6400I used MSConfig to set the computer to boot into Safe Mode - Minimal Services. I did nothing else. That's the only thing I did.Now when it gets to the login screen, nothing shows up. Just the cursor, the Ease of Access button, and the Shutdown button. No choosing users, no entering passwords, nothing. Which means I cannot log into any accounts. All I can do is shut it down or restart the computer.I'd also turned off system restore a while back because of an infection there, but forgot to turn it back on and so I have no way to roll the computer back.I tried hitting F8 and telling it to boot normally, but it continued through Safe Mode, so no luck there.
Blue screen and freezing. This is happening frequently but never has any regularity to it. Sometimes happens after a couple of days and sometimes after a couple of minutes. Also sometimes with only one browser window open and sometimes with 15 or more. Happens with both chrome and firefox. Has not happened with other programs as this lapy only gets used for surfing/email/forums etc. Sometimes happens while the computer is sitting idle right after boot. Very strange.
Just purchased 2 new (refurb) PC's for my wife and I. It's all I could find with Windows 7 still available. They are both HP Pavilion p7-1233w 64 bit Desktops running Win 7 Home Premium SP1.During Windows setup of PC #1, it asked for a restart. When the PC powered back up, it had a black screen from the start (before the Post screen). I power cycled it several times with no luck. Even switched monitors and video cables. The next morning it started normally with perfect video.I assumed the Refurb PC had a problem and set it aside for return.Been setting up PC #2 for a few days now with lots of restarts. All was well, until I did a restart just now. There was the identical problem. Power cycled the unit twice, and still had the black screen. Then I unplugged the PC, and pressed the power button to discharge the capacitors (fans ran for a few seconds). When I returned power and started the PC again, it functioned normally. I've done 10 quick restarts since to try and replicate the problem, but it only happened that once.
I love these PC's, and I love Win 7, so I hate to give them up. But I don't want the video freezing up on me every time I do a restart. I assume now, that PC #1 is not necessarily defective.Since this is occurring before the post screen, I wasn't sure if it could be windows related.
