WLAN Doesn't Start Up At Startup?
Feb 7, 2011I don't know why but for some reason my WLAN doesn't starts up at computer startup, I have to manually turn off the WLAN switch of my laptop and Turn it back on for it to start.

WLAN Auto-config Service Doesn't Start, Error 1067
Feb 2, 2013WLAN AutoConfig service gives error 1067 when trying to start it. What I've tried:
Reset winsock settings
Ran SFC /scannow
Did system restore
Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers
I tried all of these in normal mode AND in safe mode. None of it worked. Then i thought the service dll (C:Windowssystem32wlansvc.dll) itself might have been damaged/outdated, so I decided to delete it and put a new one from donor pc. NOPE.It wouldn't give me access to the file. No matter what i tried, safe mode, unlocker tools, auto rename it on startup, doing everything in administrator or even messing with permissions under file properties. It just wouldn't give me access to the file.Wi-Fi was working smoothly few days ago and i literally have no idea why it stopped working.

Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
Sony VAIO VGN-SZ340P
3945ABG Wi-Fi card

Jan 22, 2011Windows won't start. I get a a black screen saying some hardware or software has changed and the only options are to press enter to continue, or escape to exit. I tried booting my Win 7 64 bit recovery disc (aka system repair disc) but in the second screen where it tells you to select an operating system, it is blank! I attempted to add hard disk drivers but i couldn't figure out how. So i pressed next and got to the screen with various options. I selected "Startup Repair" but that won't work. It says that "startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically".

When I try to start the service manual then the error 1068 appear: "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start." I have tried the three steps of onopko, but this is not working to my computer. On advice of StalkeR I have add the reg files of Black Viper site as Safe as well default. Every time I have restarted my computer after adding the reg files, but both files are resolving me problem.

Sep 17, 2012When i got home today didn't my computer work, my girlfriend has been the last one using it. So don't know how things were just before the shutdown or anything.when i turn on the computer i get to the screen where "touch bios" is and where i can see the options like Bios settings, boot menu, xpress recovery.but i cant press anything, and after about two seconds on that screen the PC shuts down again.The keyword lights up so there is a responds on it, but just doesn't work to press anything before it shuts down.I've got BSOD upto several times a day for a few months time.believe that my computer is affected by some virus or something is delaying my computer. might be an combination of several things.I got no external things hugged up to the stationeer computer right now.it is a windows 7 x64 machine.
usually when i get issues i can access advanced boot up or bios, but can neither in this case..I wonder if it might be a hardware issue.

Jan 15, 2013I started my computer this morning and it went straight to a black screen where I have to pick from two options:Launch startup repair or Start Windows normally. If I start normally, it just restarts my computer and goes back to the black screen. If I launch the startup repair, it goes to a screen with a Windows-style background and stays there doing nothing. From what I've seen online, there should be a window where I can choose to repair or reinstall Windows, etc. but I don't even get to those options.
I tried starting in safe mode and it looks like it's going through a long list of system files, then it stops and restarts my computer and it goes back to the black screen. Every solution I've seen online requires that pop-up window, which I never get to.
I also tried booting from my recovery discs and they just take me to the blank Windows background again. My computer was fine last night when I shut it down and I haven't downloaded or installed anything in ages.

Sep 21, 2012I've had an ongoing war with my PC for four days now. I have Windows 7 and it refuses to start up. Originally I tried starting up normal, it gave me two choices: system repair or start as normal. If I chose normal it would show the windows logo then reset. If I chose repair it would turn black for several minutes, then go to a blue screen for several minutes and wouldn't move past that. So i tried to boot from CD. I have the option of installing windows or repair. I chose repair, once again it goes to the blue screen and nothing happens (and I've left it on this blue screen a good 15 min mind you.) Finally I submitted and decided to just re-install windows. it goes to the starting setup... and sits there indefinably.

I then tried startup repair, and that just takes me to a black screen. After that, I tried putting in my Windows 7 boot disc to do a clean install, told the BIOS to boot to CD/DVD drive. It tells me to press a key, I do. I get "Windows is loading files" and then it goes back to "Starting Windows" forever, yet again. Jan 20, 2012Want to know if their is anyway to make my laptop startup w/o showing error when it doesnt properly shutdown.My keyboard shorted out,wiggled the ribbon & the connector came off the motherboard.I have no usb keyboards.So if i don't shut down properly,it shows the error message with options.Usually startup repair is highlighted by default.And since I have no keyboard to change the option,it starts that automatically after countdown & I can't cancel it.
It's very irritating.I just been using the on screen keyboard,I actually don't mind that.I know just shutting it down properly will fix this.But their is times where I lose power to laptop sometimes.Im not a noob,I normally leave my laptop plugged up w/o battery when I use it.Sometimes the plug comes out(dogs knock it out etc.).I know most laptops are supposed to stop sending a charge to batt once it's 100%.But I think it's bs & don't trust it.My preference & opinion
My Computer Doesn't Start
Mar 30, 2011Yesterday I was using my laptop as normal and suddenly the internet disconnected, and then refused to reconnect. I tried to troubleshoot in Network and Sharing Centre but nothing came up, so I restarted to see if this helped. After restarting the internet still wasn't working (I have a wireless connection) so I thought the problem may have been due to a system update that was installed that morning, so I did a system restore to that point. However, upon restarting, the computer stopped on a black screen.I then turned the laptop off at the switch and back on again, however the computer got to the stage that the log-in screen should come up and remained black. Now, whenever I try to turn the computer on, it gets to just before the log-in screen and remains black (however the mouse remains on screen and can be moved) - also, Safe Mode doesn't start either and stops at a black screen shortly after I choose to start it.

May 31, 2012Install Windows, PC works perfectly, install drivers still works, reboot it and still works, shut down then after 5 minutes turn on it still works, install some programs and it still works(always reboot, shuting down and turning on to see if there is a program that causes the problem).Until this point everything is OK but at night I shut down the PC to go to my bed and when I wake up and turn it on, Windows just freezes at Starting Windows screen, even the logo doesn't show up. So sometimes I use a recovery point and sometimes I have to format and reinstall Windows because all my recover points just disappear, when I use one of the two things I said I'm able to start Windows again but when I shut it down again the problem happens again.

Oct 23, 2012I have a 2 mo. old laptop. Windows 7 doesn't start for 15 min- sometimes less. When it times out it takes the same amount of time to get it back up again. I turn on the laptop, windows screen appears but no icon to open it to the desktop appears for several minutes. This repeats everytime the computer times out and goes into sleep mode. I'm pretty new at this and might be making a mistake somewhere.
