Sep 7, 2011All of a sudden Snipping Tool is losing anything I try to save in jpeg format. It says it saves in the folder where I asked it to but nothing is there. When I redo the snip it tells me that file already exist. When I do a search the file shows up as being in as a Recent file used but nowhere else.

Jun 7, 2011I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop and have noticed a peculiar issue...when I save a jpeg to a folder or the desktop and then go to change the date, after I hit enter to confirm the change the image disappears from view. The same thing happens when I try and save a jpeg using the Snipping Tool, as well - the image is just gone! However, if I try to download a new image without changing the date and name it the same as the image that vanished, it won't let me do it because the name is already in use. So it appears that the image is still within the folder, but I can't get access to it.

Aug 20, 2011I'm trying to make my wallpaper but when I scale or fit it with desktop personalization it cuts off an important part of it or it doesn't cover the whole screen.I want to take a full screen shot in Windows Media Center but whenever I take the screenshot I just get a black screen and not the screen shot.So it seems it may be a bug or something and I'm not the only one with the problem.I followed those steps and added what they told me to with Regedit but it still didn't work for me. The author in the article says to "restart" media center does that just mean to close the program and open it again? I tried that and it still didn't work.

Mar 12, 2010Ease of Access Center - Add or Remove from Logon Screen.I search a long time for a solution to disable the "Ease of Access" Button on the login screen on Windows 7 _x86 and _x64. I found a solution, but this was only for the x86 version of Windows 7. If you use this version on a _x64 machine, the login screen remains black.Microsoft did not include the function to disable the "Ease of Access" button on the login screen and this can be very dangerous within a multi user environment. This button is hard coded within the login UI. Therefore no regkey or something else is available to disable it.Out of this case I patched the authui.dll. This dll is responsible for the login screen and the shitty button.I made two ready pachted dll files. One for the x86 and one for the x64 operating system of Windows 7. The version of the files are from the original Windows 7 DVD and the version Nr. of the dll's are: 6.1.7600.16385. You can use this files on every language version of Windows 7 because this files are language independent.What was made - if you want to do it with your files by yourself:
1. Download Resource Turner (the version 1.99 can only handle x86 files!) or use Restorator 2007 Patch
2. This version can handle both x86 and x64 files.Open it any you will see 4 entries within the UIFILE section.
3 xml files (12400, 12401, 12402) and 1 txt file (14000)
Taking Screenshots With Windows 7 And Sending Via Gmail - Create Association?
Oct 2, 2011I'm fairly new to Win7 Home Premium64. When I try to create a screen shot, I use "print screen" , then open "Paint" and select "paste". The desired image appears but from that point on I can't copy and paste into gmail. I would like to send the screen shot via email using my Gmail Application.
The message I'm getting is: "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action and that I need to "create an association in the default program control panel".
I have no idea about how to create that association in the default control panel. As far as I can see, the image that has been pasted in "Paint" is a PNG file. I have looked through all of the settings in gmail but can't find any place to "create that association".
Ease Of Access Center Popup During Login?
Sep 6, 2012A colleague at work has this really weird thing going when logging in to Windows 7 professional 64bit.While he is typing his password, a window from the ease of access center pops up uninvited.Also I'm interested in removing the ease of access button from the login screen altogether.I only found 1 thing on google about it, but only for removing the button, I found nothing about the popup.

To take a screenshot, view your desktop and press the "Prt Screen" button on your keyboard, then paste it in to paint and save the file as a jpg. Intel 2.3 ghz duel core, cpu. upgraded to 4 gig of ram. done months ago. New 750 gig HDD. New to this install. just bought it. Installed with a dell windows 7 disk. It activated fine. had a few problem with the install. could not install Windows 7 usb dvd tool could not install Office 2010. Did get NOD 32 install and all the windows updates. I figured there was aglitch in the install. I formated and reinstalled windows 7 from a usb drive i created on another computer. that i just installed the windows 7 usb dvd tool on. windows loaded fine, so first thing i tried to install the windows 7 usb dvd tool would not install. so formated and started again. All went well windows 7 activated fine. tried to install the windows 7 usb dvd tool again no joy. so I went ahead and installed all the updates. NOD 32. windows office all went well. tried again to install the Win 7 usb dvd tool no joy. I have googled the problem there is no info out there on this problem. I searched the problem in this forum nothing. I had this tool running on the original install before i started this whole thing and it worked fine. Any suggestion would be great! Nothing invested but time!
