In Vista, I could turn off snipping tool via Turn Windows Features On and Off > uncheck Tablet PC Components.
In Win 7, I read that snipping too is part of the operating system in Home Premium, Ultimate, Pro and Enterprise. Unchecking Tablet PC Components will not disable snipping tool.
So, how do I disable it, or is it possible at all ?
I received a pop-up claiming the need to purchase items to recovery Windows 7. This caused a hardrive failure. All programs are now gone. It is a laptop...I can occasionally access the internet under guest loggin.

The same thing happens when I try and save a jpeg using the Snipping Tool, as well - the image is just gone! However, if I try to download a new image without changing the date and name it the same as the image that vanished, it won't let me do it because the name is already in use. So it appears that the image is still within the folder, but I can't get access to it.

For example, I might be set an IP address in Russia, but live in America. My laptop is Lenvo thinkpad edge 14 which is having a Bluetooth 2 compatible hardware. And I'm using Home Premium x64.
