View 2 Replies View RelatedIs this possible? Such as:
- Ctrl+c copies first object (or text)
- Holding down a key (let's say, Shift) along with Ctrl+c copies second object
- Ctrl+v pastes first object
- Shift+Ctrl+v pastes second object
Or some other method.
Win 7 does not have a built-in clipboard viewer.
I need to inspect the clipboard, in particular regarding graphics objects, to debug problems in COPY/PASTE such objects between applications.
What are the best and most comprehensive tools to enable this?
Things were going great and all the sudden I kept on getting Cannot Open Clipboard Error messages. Any way I can view my Clipboard or Know why its happening?

Cannot copy to the clipboard: java.security.AccessControlException, access denied
("java.awt.AWTPermission" "accessClipboard")
How to Enable Copy to Clipboard from the Windows 7 Command Prompt ?
View 0 Replies View RelatedWhen I use cut-and-paste, it does not post the most recent cut or copy, instead it posts the one before that so I have to go back to the highlighted selection, click {cntrl][x] or [cntrl][c] again and then click [cntrl][v] again and it pastes the correct info.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUnder Windows XP I used a program called Piky Basket which had a right-click feature that allowed me to copy the full paths of selected files to the clipboard. This feature worked on multiple files, even in search results from e.g. Windows' own search utility and e.g. Voidtools' Everything. I want to be able to do the same in Windows 7.Sadly, Piky Basket does not work on my system (Windows 7, 64), and the version of Piky Basket that does work on my system doesn't have this feature anymore. The built-in "Copy as path" in Windows does work on multiple files, but only if those files are all in the same folder (which is not the case in search results). The same applies to SendTo Toys -- can only copy multiple paths if they're all in the same folder.
Dengdun's OpenXX works fine on search results, but copies a maximum of 15 paths (why???). Jarle Aase's CopyPath copies only one path at a time... and this applies to many of the nameless similar utilities floating about the web.Ninotech Path Copy insists on installing the 32 bit version of it (even if I remove the previous version), and does not add anything to the context menu that I can see.
My problem is roughly the same as the OP: I work on complicated phonetic documents, and I would like to keep the contents of my Word clipboard when I'm done for that session, because I'll need that content during the next one. I'm not offered the option to save the content, however, nor can I find a setting which obviously seems to offer me that option. The documents are in separate folders, of course, but the Word clipboard sidebar is always empty when I open the document, or anything I've copied outside Word before getting to work on the document will appear there. Of course I can go and collect the previous content in the document itself, but that is not a good way to start my work session, frankly. How do I get Word to save clips specifically for that document, and leave it alone as far as other copy/paste operations are concerned?
View 4 Replies View Relatedwindows 7 prof. 64bit / office 2010 When i have been working on documents which require repetative entries and I copy these entries to the clipbpard, is there a way of saving these entries on the clipboard so when so that when I close the current document and open a new one that all previous entries onto the clipboard will still be there? At the moment it is only the last item copied to the clipboard in the previous session that remains when I open a new document.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt was bad in XP, but seems worse in Windows 7.Clipboard doesnt seem to hold onto last Copied item long at all. I will copy a string of text and if I I dont paste it very soon after it wont paste.Usually I hcopy a piece of text, and if I have to minimize a few windows or do too many keystroke before pasting it gets lost and I have to go back and re-copy it.Its just beuggier than expected for such a nice OS.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a wierd problem which I think is related to a dodgy keyboard. basically my customer has a G61-401sa laptop in which the Ctrl key seems to be constantly 'on' or pressed if you will. It's taken me a while to notice this ( through doing other things to her system) and in all honesty it isnt on all the time, however I noticed it yesterday after I was setting up her email and tried to paste her address into the required area (crtl +V) since then its on and off, more 'on' than off and I wondered if its possible to dissable the Ctrl key completely? obviously at some point she needs to replace the keyboard but I know shes loath to spend more money on a laptop she's had nothing but trouble with (loads of problems since she bought it from currys but thats another story)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm interested to know whether its possible to disable the system clock? We all know applications and websites can get access to our time zone, etc. I often use anonymous browser clients such as TOR & JonDo to protect my online privacy. For example, I might be set an IP address in Russia, but live in America. The thing is - websites can still access our time zone on the computer so they will I'm not in Russia but actually in xxxx state in America. I don't want to change the time to something random as I've heard this can destabilize the computer and its applications. So is it possible to disable it? If not - is there a browser configuration to block access to it? I did attempt running it under Sandboxie but that doesn't work either.

The problem is laptop getting restarted very frequently without any information on eventlog! a sudden restart! As per my primary investigation I can see only this one as a culprit.
