Clipboard Quit Working - Copy Or Paste Function Grayed Out
Dec 14, 2011My windows clipboard has quit working. I can "cut", but it simply works as the delete function, and the "paste" function is always greyed out.

Feb 5, 2012I have discovered that I have lost my Copy/Cut and Paste function. This is copying/cutting from anywhere (Word, the internet, iTunes or any other text content) to anywhere. I don't know how it hapened but would grateful for some easy to follow instructions on getting it back please? I have Windows 7 and it has always worked up 'til about a week ago. I have restored the PC from an earlier checkpoint without success.

When I copy something, half of the time it does not paste, or pastes a random single letter.Is this a problem that could easily be fixed, or could it be something that has infected my pc?

Nov 5, 2011Periodically, for reasons I cannot figure out and for which I have found no solution, my copy/paste ceases to function. Nothing I do seems to fix it, deleting cache, etc. So eventually, out of frustration I give up but it interrupts my productivity of course. Some time later in the future I find it is working again but i do not know how/why it starts or stops and it is most vexing and inconvenient.
It seems to happen periodically whether I am using my Windows 7 or my Mac Snow Leopard? I right click, select copy right click again select paste and ZIP, NADA? I will be forever grateful or at least for a very long time!

Jun 1, 2011When I use cut-and-paste, it does not post the most recent cut or copy, instead it posts the one before that so I have to go back to the highlighted selection, click {cntrl][x] or [cntrl][c] again and then click [cntrl][v] again and it pastes the correct info.

How To Copy Paths To Clipboard From Search Results
May 8, 2012Under Windows XP I used a program called Piky Basket which had a right-click feature that allowed me to copy the full paths of selected files to the clipboard. This feature worked on multiple files, even in search results from e.g. Windows' own search utility and e.g. Voidtools' Everything. I want to be able to do the same in Windows 7.Sadly, Piky Basket does not work on my system (Windows 7, 64), and the version of Piky Basket that does work on my system doesn't have this feature anymore.The built-in "Copy as path" in Windows does work on multiple files, but only if those files are all in the same folder (which is not the case in search results). The same applies to SendTo Toys -- can only copy multiple paths if they're all in the same folder.
Dengdun's OpenXX works fine on search results, but copies a maximum of 15 paths (why???). Jarle Aase's CopyPath copies only one path at a time... and this applies to many of the nameless similar utilities floating about the web.Ninotech Path Copy insists on installing the 32 bit version of it (even if I remove the previous version), and does not add anything to the context menu that I can see.
Missing Toolbar Along With 'cut & Paste' Function?
Feb 28, 2011New copy shop opened up. Problem is the 'File Edit View Tools Help' toolbar is missing. Also right click does not give 'cut & paste' on menu. Shop owner seems to know less about Windows 7 than I do (I taught myself internet on public computers, using XP Pro, about two years ago). Anyway, without 'print preview', or 'cut & paste', I cannot print from internet, so computers at this copy shop are currently useless.

I've already made sure that the Clipboard is checked in the RDP connection properties. I tried connecting as her on my machine, and the same thing happens. If I log out and then reconnect as me, copy/paste works. Should I have the remote admin take a look at his policy?
