Netbook specs:Samsung N145P w/Atom N455 and 1GB RAM & Windows 7 ultimate.Lately the computer mouse becomes very choppy and laggy (not smooth) when doing tasks like loading pages or anything that uses CPU, this happens on both touchpad & external mouse. Updated drivers without success does anyone know why.
Since I have installed FixCleaner I have been having major "full screen' problems. I installed it because I was having problems with Windows Installer, although Installer is now working, everything else is jumpy and sometimes the screen goes back to the initial intro screen or back to regular view. When playing FreeCell the cards jump and shift. And the screen jumps and flashes. The same thing happens when I use full screen in Facebook. These things did not happen before (Using Windows 7).
I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit, FF is primary browser. I have a Verizon FIOS network. I've been getting the following message when I boot up:"The RAS DLL couldn't be loaded. If you don't have a modem installed this is a normal situation. If you use a modem, check that the RASAPI32.DLL is properly installed. Due to this reason, the options related with the modem will not work. This alert can be disabled in the General Options tab." I don't have a modem. Could someone tell me what General Options tab this is referring to so I can disable this alert?
I have a Dell laptop with windows 7 OS 64-bit. The problem is that for the last 2 days i have found it impossible to install anything on it as an error keeps popping up saying MSCORWKS.DLL COULD NOT BE LOADED. I have a lot of important files on my system and i don't want to loose them. how to restoring my system to a previous date say like 2 weeks ago as the system restore only allows me to go back 2 days.
I had to restore my computer. After I did so and it went through the new setup, I supplied a new password. When I went to logon, it accepted my password but then at the next screen, iit read:The User Service service [sic] failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.
I removed Win8 and replaced it with win7. Once the install of win7 is done i can make changes to my desktop but once i restart my computer it doesn't reboot at all. It just continues as a cycle of endless rebooting. I also went into the Bios to make it boot from HD but nothing.
the computer is a Samsung np300e5c. Bios is Phoenix SecureCore Tiano Setup
I have a new Acer aspire 5750G all singing dancing comes with every thing except office. I set it up for first time use put some bits on it and then made a big mistake...like a fool i wrongly loaded windows 7 home premium over it instead of the office 10 disc. The desktop nows only shows the recycle bin, no net, no nothing, i can not do a thing with it to put this right.
I built this new system. When I went to install XP I kept getting errors, a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down. I didn't write down the error code but I did go as far as hook up a IDE hard drive with just XP no other drivers. I wanted a 64 bit os anyways and decided to give Windows 7 a try. Install was easy no errors. Games and IE seem unstable. IE gives errors but doesn't crash, Grid crashes and I have no logitech support which isn't good for games.
I'm now trying to install dual boot and I get the error windows has been shut down, again. The code is,
My computer will not allow me to log on because it cannot find my user profile. Is this a serious error or something that a computer person could fix quickly and easily?
When trying to log on as Administrator, computer apparently does not recognize password. I get messages, "The User Profile Service service failed the logon" and "User profile cannot be loaded".
The internet seems to disagree. From my research the conclusion I drew was that any shortcut icon on the desktop (that is, anything contained somewhere other than C:users[user]desktop) is not loaded into ram since it is contained in storage while programs and files that are located on the desktop are loaded into ram upon startup.
We have new HP 635 Laptops that had Win7 64 bit Ultimate loaded on them. With our Volume License agreement we load Win7 Enterprise 64 bit. I downloaded the software from the Microsoft site several times. Have tried to burn the disks at slower speeds. The Laptop Bios will not let me change the settings for the Sata drive so that is not a choice. It get 95% into the Expanding Windows files and stops. I have checked the memory and the hard disk with the Win7 dvd and they were fine. Don't know what to try.
i have shutted down the PC with Win7. When i Started again it loaded as usual but after the desktop cames in ,and the blue screen has appeared and restarted the computer again and aftr repetead again again
I have a 120Gig USB drive that plugs into my pc (Win 7) and works fine. I gave it to a friend as it is surplus to requirement, but when i plugged it into there laptop which has also has Win 7 on, the light on the drive lights up but it doesn't actually connect.
I have a computer on which the usb devices stop working/receiving power once windows has loaded (they work up untill windows finishes loading). I installed windows on a different disk everything else remained the same, now the mouse and kb work. Is there a known fix for this? If not is it possible somehow to transfer the user settings from one disk to another, so i get the same settings on the new drive perhaps (mind you, no mouse or kb support on one of those windows)?I have tried a lot of windows disk fix things, none of them have any effect, very strange, have never seen this before. Usually i get pretty much everything fixed using google, but this one.
I recently installed windows 7 on my desktop. During boot up I can use my keyboard, but once windows loads the keyboard is unresponsive. I've tried a wireless and wired keyboard. I also have a wireless keyboard and mouse combo in which the mouse still works but still no keys.
I have hp2420 laser printer (not with Ethernet option) loaded on Windows XP and I have new computer Windows 7 64bit I can see the printer but am not able to load that. I have down loaded the driver from HP site and loaded on 64Bit computer.1. shall I load that driver on 32 bit system? if yes will that mess up the connection to other 32 bit system.
I can't great new accounts or activate the guest account, but was able before. When I create a new account, Windows creates the new user login icon. When I try to login to that account I get this error: "The user profile service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded." then the account is logged out. The new directory is created under C:Users but there is on padlock on that subdirectory icon. The new user SID is not created in the registry Profile List, there is noting about the new account. The only change I can think of that could have messed things up is: I was logged into the administrator account, preparing to make a back up and manually deleted some files from my own unprivileged account. I think thay may have been some kind of system index files for photoshop, which I had uninstalled. I am trying to learn the differences between Windows 7 and Windows XP, I now see that deleting user (possible user-system) files is not a good thing at all. I cringe at the thought of changing something in the registry without really knowing what I am doing and I don't want to go back to the full backup I did when I first got the computer. If there is no direct answer then perhaps someone can point me in the right direction as to how creating a new user works.
Windows 7 started and once it loaded the desktop it glitched up kind of like the rrod does with the 360 all the programs on my desktop had lil. glitched box's surrounding them and it froze up did it 2 times after rebooting then i booted into safe mode and it booted fine i moved a program that booted with Windows 7 while in safe mode to the desktop so it wouldnt boot with Windows 7 and i don't think that had nothing to do it but it started normal after being in safe mode.
Just finished uninstalling certain things I did not need any longer and when I was done I started to notice that my desktop items disappeared when I refreshed the desktop and My Computer complained about the location of login details. (I cannot remember the exact error) now when I restarted my computer I receive the error at the welcome screen saying "The User Service service failed the logon. User cannot be loaded". I've researched this error and many things talk about starting in safe mode which I have managed to do but nothing else seems to be clear from there.
Basically, the title sums it all up. Everytime I load the windows 7 professional, the 3 programs loads itself up too. Both Word and Excel starts with an empty page. IE9 will try to connect to the internet. And I can't seem to disable them from autostart. I have looked in the Startup folder. It's empty. I've tried msconfig. I don't see anything related to IE9, or MSOffice in there.
So I just built my new computer and fired up my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit disc. The setup files load, the Windows logo video plays, the pretty blue screen with the flowers in the corner appears and my cursor has the rotating green circle indicating something is happening.
Then the circle stops spinning and disappears. At this point it appears the installation freezes. Pressing any keys or moving the mouse does nothing. I have to restart the computer. Same thing happens. Any off-the-bat suggestions before I start troubleshooting hardware?
My hard drives are in a RAID configuration per the M/B controller and a mirror volume has been created on the disk. I have one IDE DVD rom drive (the only part of the computer that's not brand new) and one additional HD audio card installed. The system is stable in the BIOS.
As stated, loaded xp after shrinking the drive and using easybcd. got all going but can't load updates for xp. I'm downloading sp3 for xp and have shut down AV and the firewall on the Windows 7 side. get a code which i didn't write down. Are there issues when doing an upgrade with xp, or does sp 3 need to be installed first ?.HOW does one become a donating member to get the lights on ?
I have a veho VFS-004 neg & Slide scanner, I have loaded all the software as instructed and although the device shows up in "Printers & Devices" it is not recognized through the program. When I look at the properties in "devices" there is no driver installed and trouble shooting will not fix the problem.
