I have dell 1557 and from 3 months ago, it suddenly crashes or restarts and sometimes it shows BSOD. after uninstall windows 7, it worked for 1 month with no problem but now i have these problems again. I updated my drivers but it did not work.

I have a problem whit my pc
1- Random Crashes/Freezes
2- Blue Screens Of Death "with different details every time" also randomly
3- this begun when i bought new cpu and motherboard
note 1: scanned for viruses/malware/spyware several times
note 2: registry cleaning, defragment,etc.. didn't fix the problem too
When I am browsing the web suing IE9 I get a crash randomly and sometimes after closing the browser and restarting I get a crash. What I could do to pin point the cause.

I just came back after a few days out, and for some reason my PC cashed several times today.So my PC will restart (more like crash) after I log-in, it is random, it can crash in a few seconds or a few minutes. Last time I used my PC, the "5,6,7" keyboard buttons didn't work (Logitech G15), I usually shutdown my PC every time I go to sleep or go out). I know that the computer crashes because, when I boot I get a screen telling me windows did not shut down correctly and I can use windows normally or with safe mode. View 8 Replies View RelatedI looked at some of the solutions including the error check in the c:. I've installed the ccleaner on my computer as well and still didnt work. So the problem is, whenever I am on my computer and explorer crashes it says "the windows explorer has stopped working" and after that it just restarts the explorer but my all the icons in the system icons disappear except for the clock. I tried to go and change it but I can't, the sound, internet and uac icons disappear and I can only see them again if I reboot my computer. I am running windows 7 32-bit. [URL].

I have recently purchased a Sony VAIO with Windows 7 pre-installed. Completely randomly (this happens more often now - every 30 mins or so) the computer will freeze up, then brings me to a blue screen telling me that "A problem has been detected and your computer has been shut down to prevent damage". This stays on for only a second then the screen goes black. Five seconds later I get "Operating System Not Found". The only way I can use the computer again is to hold the power button down (which gives the computer a full power off), then turn it back on again.

My HP Probook 4320s laptop was purchased in October 2011 - It quickly developed the extremely annoying problem of freezing / crashing. I called the company that it was purchased it from, they asked me to do a memory test & hard drive test - they showed no errors. They then advised me to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit (it was preinstalled when purchased). I reinstalled it, & downloaded all of the drivers from the web (a painfully slow experience on Kenyan internet...!!). After installing all of them - it's still happening! Sometimes if left for a couple of minutes it will start to work again, sometimes it needs a reset with the power button.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen the PC is on it will depending on how long its been on will randomy just shut off. When it shuts off, it "sometimes" reboots but most often it "tries" to reboot but fails and then stays off. After this failed try to reboot if I press the power button on the case and mobo, nothing.Now if I turn OFF the PSU leave it for a few minutes and come back turn the PSU switch on and press the power button the system comes to life for a second or two then dies and will no respond to the power buttons until I turn off the PSU again.I have gotten it up and running from this state by leaving it off and unplugged for a couple of hours. When I say the PC comes to life for a second or two, I mean the case fans. If I get it booted up the BIOS is reset to default for some reason. Also if it makes it to windows, the notification area icons also gets reset... very very odd.I have a short video of the problem, sorry for the darkness, I finally decided to video it and it was 11pm.PSU dying or Mobo. I dont have extra's so I cant test them.Forgot to mention, ive checked for heat problems but none of my temps are high, they are all normal and its a Antec 1200 with tons of air movement.Event Viewer shows nothing expect for unexpected shutdown. My event viewer is clean from any errors also. I do not get any BSOD and this is on a fresh Windows 7 install from late Jan.

Solution: in IE8 Tools | Internet Options | Advanced, click Reset button labeled "Reset Internet Explorer Settings". After that IE8 doesn't crash on the above web page.
My computer is running standard Windows 7 Home Edition (64 bit) and I have been having some problems with it recently.1. Windows Explorer crashes when I try to access files from My Documents, My Music etc. This only seems to be when I access them from the start menu. If I go via My Computer > Users etc all is fine.2. After a short period of gaming, the computer freezes and starts running unbelievably slowly. It is unable to create textures on games and all I can see is characters on a blue screen. I have tried this on Fifa 11 (which now does not run at all), Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Counterstrike: Source. It seems to be fine with browsing and low-end programs though, so I can listen to music and use the internet all fine. All of the games are legally bought etc and worked fine. I left my computer for a few months while away and nothing has changed on it apart from a few windows updates.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just installed the Windows 7 Beta and installing all the drivers and software were a breeze. I was pretty amazed at the performance compared to Vista. My boot-times were about 20% faster than Vista and the "Aero" effect appears smoother for me. One problem i encountered was that I could not run any games including Counter-Strike:Source and Crysis without locking up. I have a pair of 8800's paired up in SLI and all the spec's are running in stock clock. Does Windows 7 not support SLI at the moment? I am running the NVIDIA 181.22 WHQl Drivers.

After "Launch startup repair (recommended) kicks in it goes to a loading screen. After that it goes black then after a short pause I get a blue screen that says: STOP: c000021a (FAatal System Error) and basically says that the system has been shut down. I can get to my FOXCONN motherboard setup but cannot get to safe mode.
