View 1 RepliesI have windows 7 firefox. I cannot manage my booksmarks. They say to go up to bookmarks and pick "manage bookmarks". I don't have that option. I try making a folder and moving links into them and they won't work.
View 2 Replies View Relatedthe last hour I was organizing all my bookmarks on Firefox 5 into folders and sub- folders.I had to do a lot of copying and pasting, and I noticed firefox was not responding everytime I copied or pasted.for example I was copying and pasting folder with thousands of bookmarks(2000-12K)And it wasn't fast! I am quite disappointed with the performance. Not only that, but after I finished copying when I selected one of the bookmarks in the folder, it was not responsive for a few seconds.copying, pasting, and selecting took between 10s to 1m!!! This is a lot of time to wait just to move bookmarks around!

View 1 Replies View RelatedImport bookmarks to Chrome, zoom they are right on the bookmarks bar. Same with FF. I can update them in 20 seconds. With IE, I have to import to favorites bar and then rearrange them alphabetically. I use Chrome and FF, but IE9 more. And this is just a killer, as I am always adding bookmarks.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing Win 7 x64 and Firefox 4 with a Dell 23.5" LCD monitor, I randomly see Firefox bookmarks (1 or 2 bookmarks) appearing in the area at the bottom of the screen where the Firefox add-ons are shown (one add-on currently - "Ad Block Plus" - so the red stop sign shows) and blending into the taskbar/quick launch tool bar. These random bookmarks show up about centered on the width of the screen. If I click anywhere in the Taskbar/quick launch tool bar, the shown bookmarks vanish.

The manage add-ons folder is empty. There are a variety of ways to get to that folder and I have tried them all. There is nothing in it. No toolbars, no search providers, and no Accelerators. It doesn't even contain the InPrivate filtering link. What's more the navigation Pane is also empty.
It's odd because the most common add-ons that shoud be accessable there seem to work OK. Adobe Flash, Java ..etc. Everything is updated. PC: Windows 7 x64, IE8,

View 9 Replies View RelatedThis started about 3 days ago, and I'm not sure how. I've run Spybot, AVG and other programs, but nothing seems to stop it.Whenever I click on a link in my bookmarks, it gets deleted in the folder almost automatically afterwards. The bookmarks that get deleted seem to happen at random. When I replaced the bookmarks and clicked them again, sometimes they are fine while others that survived the first round get erased, while some bookmarks remain untouched. This happens to bookmarks in completely different folders, and my history seems to have been left untouched.
