View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently I've changed my OS from XP to Windows 7 64 bit home premiume. with the last OS I used to convert my Flash files (swf) with the software - Amor Swf to Avi or with Adobe flash cs3 by exporting to Avi/mpeg or other codec files. After Ive upgreated to windows 7 this simple converting opperation is failing. I thought the peoblem were with lack of codecs so i've downloaded K-lite Pack - but it didn't help. I've tried another convert software and still no luck.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen using the WMC I have noticed crackling sounds when playing m2ts video files containing AVC and AC-3. I have noticed crackling sounds primarily on start up of the video file and sporadically during playback. At first I thought it might be a hw issue but now I'm not so sure. BTW the video playback appears to be okay...just a problem with the audio.
On the windows sw side I am fully up to date i.e. with Windows 7 HP x64.
On the hardware side I have updated by video and audio drivers to the latest...in fact all the drivers are upto date. The Machine is an Acer Aspire X1470 desktop model with 4 GB of ram. AMD Radeon HD 6410D Graphics (display adapter). AMD A4-3400 APU.
I have tried connecting the audio thru the on-board sound system. I've also tried using an external USB based sound I/F. Which one I use makes no difference...The crackling still comes thru.
Part of the reason I'm led to believe this is not strickly a hw issue is because I've tried playing these same files with XBMC and they play cleanly. So it would seem there is some kind of interaction issue hw and sw when using WMC on this computer. BTW I've tried using WMP (my preferred choice) but the audio and video degradation is markedly worse than WMC. I've included the Media info data for one of the files I've played below:

For some reason, video files [all types] will refuse to play and it will revert to audio only. When I close firefox and run CCleaner though, the video will work again for a short amount of time before reverting back to audio only.

But only for one instance! If i want to make WMP the default opener, I get this error message: 'This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, and my files randomly play or pause, whether it's a song, or a movie or a TV show. Sometimes it goes for hours not giving me problems, but then at some point randomly pauses and continues, either at like half second intervals, few seconds, or even like 20 seconds after it pauses, it randomly plays again.
I play them off my hard drive and off my external, it's not my external that's the problem I don't think. I'm thinking maybe my wireless adapter is a problem? I don't know.
If I downloaded HijackThis and gave you guys or the guys there a log, would they be able to identify what's causing this, or would it just show as me clicking pause and play, because it does it by itself...

Recently the hiccups that happen when playing hich bitrate audio (happens in 320 kbps and not in 192) and videos (HD) started to really annoy me so I came here.I have windows 7, intel i7 870 processor, roland UA-4FX USB sound card, radeon hd5800 graphics card, and 4gb ram, I think all of them have up to date drivers.The clicking intensifies when doing rather CPU-heavy things like opening microsoft word but it is always there in high bitrate files, but the CPU load never goes above 20% in task manager.The hiccups are such that audio playback stops for a very short time periodically and making a click sound as if you removed the cable of the speaker.

View 1 Replies View RelatedStarting about a month ago, after six to seven months of my laptop working fine, I've been getting video and audio stuttering whenever gaming or watching most HD videos and after messing around with my drivers I realized that whenever my Realtek HD Audio drivers are disabled my video runs flawlessly, but when enabled both video and audio stutter. I'm using a Sony VAIO laptop so I'm assuming that the sound card isn't easily replaceable. I've tried using the newest drivers straight from Realtek's website and also the outdated driver provided by Sony's website, both of which result in the same stuttering. Sony has also replaced the motherboard once and it did not resolve the issue.I'm currently running Windows 7 with 6gb of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 330M graphics card.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to take some training videos at a website [URL]. The videos are in windows media player format embedded in IE. I selected 4 trainings. So these are in my favorite list. I launched the first video, a new window opened and it started buffering the video and then the video started. I face a problem when I closed this video and wanted to go to the next one. A new window opens with windows media player embedded in the window but it doesn't do buffering to play. Interestingly, it still showing the title of the previous training that I closed. Looks like it is getting stuck in the memory. I am using IE 9 on Win7 (64bit).

This has happened before but I was able to do a system restore and bring back all the settings, files, and programs. I tried the same thing today but the restore failed (it still failed after I followed its advice to turn the anti-virus off and then run restore) so I've got a large amount of files (pictures, music, documents) missing that I am hoping are still on the hard drive somewhere.
