Video Converting Program To Convert Avis And Burn To Dvd?
Apr 19, 2011
i am looking for a video converting program to convert avis and burn to dvd. Ive tried convertxtodvd which worked well but have read and experienced crashes. Are there any other programs that work just as well, I found convertxtodvd to be very effecient although have ceased using it.
I'm searching and searching for a free / opensource program that can convert most video formats (MOV, WMV, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 etc) to H.264 or vise versa. And with such options as data rate of 2000 / 5000 kbps but not limited to only that option.
I have a video that I can put on U-Tube for friends to view, but can't seem to burn a DVD from it. What is the "magic" software (needed or included in Windows 7) to do this, and what steps are needed?
My burner is PLDS DVD+-RW DH-16ABS ATA Device (16x). I'm running Window 7 64 bit with Intel i5, 4 GB Ram on a Dell Inspiron 620s desktop. Earlier I had no issues at all burning DVD-Rs. But all of a sudden when I try to burn videos I get "unspecified recorder error". I used the same brand media as earlier (Sony) and tried many different disks but to no avail. Tried Nero 8 & Imgburn, but both don't work. I can burn the same files to CD-R & DVD-RW. I can also burn data files to DVD-R but not videos & ISO. Tried restarting the computer & updating the driver. Just one time, the disk wouldn't eject & had to use a pin to manually eject. What could possibly have gone wrong? The burner's lowest speed is 6x,
i have a Studio XPS 435T/9000 with a plds dvd +-rwdh-16aas burner. the drive dosen't register on my hardware, and will not respond when a c.d. is placed into it. (Auto play does not work).i've downloaded several drivers for 64 bit from dell, but it conflicts when extracted. (Says i have a 64 bit system and will not work.)
how to convert a shared video memory into dedicated video memory and system video memory? me and my friend have the same specs computers but the same game runs slow in my computer but it runs smoothly in his computer?
when trying to vurn a pre recorded tv program I get this message:
"One or more of the files you have selected is not a supported file and can not be added to the list", even a Non copyrighted one.
Using the original Vista, sp-1, there was no problem. After upgrade to Windows 7, recorded file types has been change from "Windows Movie" to "Windows TV", not even Nero can recognize the new extension.
I am looking for a free program to do what "MakeMKV" will do.convert a video iso file (containing vobs) eg. file1.iso to file2.mkvI'm looking for a 1:1 type conversion not a transcoding.
Recently I've changed my OS from XP to Windows 7 64 bit home premiume. with the last OS I used to convert my Flash files (swf) with the software - Amor Swf to Avi or with Adobe flash cs3 by exporting to Avi/mpeg or other codec files. After Ive upgreated to windows 7 this simple converting opperation is failing. I thought the peoblem were with lack of codecs so i've downloaded K-lite Pack - but it didn't help. I've tried another convert software and still no luck.
I have an MP4 video that I want to be converted to PNG images (every single frame).I've downloaded a number of programs that claim to do this but not exactly how I want. One program I tried was Avidemux, which is almost what I wanted, but it only outputs to JPG.I tried virtualdub but the file won't open in it.
I'm looking for software to convert my camera's high definition (MOV) files to m2ts (AVCHD) files so I can produce an AVCHD DVD disk to play on a BlueRay video player. I have tried Corel's Movie Factory PRO 7, and Cyberlink's Power Director 10. Both programs crash when the Burn stage is started.
It is sometimes required to convert a video or audio file to another format - for example if you want to use it in a Power Point slideshow where you need WAV audio files or you want to play a video downloaded from the internet for which you do not have the right codec. In those cases I suggest you use Format Factory. The program is very easy to use and you can convert in three simple steps.
Today, i was trying to burn an ISO today when i got this message."The image didnt burn burn because an error occurred. The drive reported that it is performing a long-running operation, such as finishing a write. the drive may be unusable for a long period of time. (Error code: 0xC0AA0207)"Haven't started a write since my computer turned on.
I can burn a normal audio cd, yet i can not get it to burn mp3's (data cd, also says for mp3's in software) i have tried a few burning programs and always get the same result. so i figure its a windows 7 issue.

I am looking for a free or inexpensive video editing program. I believe windows live has some sort of video editing program but I haven't tried it yet.
I have Realtek sound drivers configured with my windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and music is great, but when attempting to watch video program, there's no sound and I was looking for information or configuration set up.

I am trying to convert my old VHS tapes to DVD at minimal expense. I have the Roxio Video Capture USB and the driver seems to be working correctly for this Capture device. Even though I have the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD software, I was unable to install the software as it kept getting hung up because I believe the software is too old. Instead I decided to use a free Golden Video software as the software to capture the videos through the Roxio Video Capture USB. The Golden Video software appears to be working fine but it only captures the audio but no video.
I do not have the original VHS camcorder, but am instead running the VHS tapes through a VHS/TV and am thinking that may be the issue. The coaxial cable is running from the back of the TV to a Radio Shack RF Modulator which then has the three video/audio cables (red, white and yellow) running from the back of this Radio Shack box into the same cables on the Roxio Capture USB which is then plugged into the computer.
I feel that this setup should work, but perhaps one cannot capture the video from a VHS/TV but must use a camcorder or a VCR (neither of which I have). I have not seen this addressed on the internet and am wondering if anyone knows if this setup is possible.
