Cannot Print Email From Microsoft Outlook 2010?

Sep 30, 2011

Am trying to printout an email from Outlook 2010. When I go to print the print preview shows a small dash in upper left corner and the number of pages to be printed ranges from 32 to 112, depending on the email. It prints the dash mark and continues to spit out paper. It's not a printer issue, as I've tried 2 different ones.

Outlook 2010 Email Accounts Disappear Or Don't Send Receive

Oct 23, 2012

I use Outlook 2010 to process several email accounts. I noticed a few days ago that a couple of the email accounts had vanished from the list. I also noticed that one still present was not sending or receiving. I tried re-entering the password and when that didn't work I deleted and re-entered the account. It tests fine but the test message never shows up in my Outlook inbox. It does show up immediately on my phone when I check my mail there.

When multiple accounts are added on Outlook 2010 and you create a new email, autocomplete in the 'to' field shows suggestions from every account. Is it possible to only show suggestions relevant to the account the email is being sent from. For example, if I had my personal account and a customer services account, when I go to send an email from my personal account, every email address who has ever communicated with the customer services account shows which is quite risky.

I've been trying to create a Task in Outlook from a Word Document that I have created on this computer. The idea is that a shortcut to the document is created as an Outlook Task. Click on the shortcut, and voila - there is the document. The "Create Microsoft Office Task" icon DOES send the document to Outlook as a Shortcut in a Task, however, when I open the task, Outlook says:"Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: Shortcut to 'document name'."It's NOT an unsafe attachment; Outlook WILL OPEN this document if I send it as an email attachment. Outlook will open .docx files types.

Can't Print Emails From Outlook

Jan 16, 2013

I try to print an email from outlook, and it just goes into a wait loop. The circle spins, and the title bar says outlook is "not responding" - I'll say! I've tried copying the e-mail and pasting it into Word. That works, but when I try to print, I get the same "not responding" situation. I've tried this with a couple of different e-mails, but the problem is the same. This is a new failure in Outllok (and Word). The only thing I've tried is rebooting my PC which didn't help. I would use the Office self-fix, but I can't find it in the 2010 edition.

Outlook 2010 Cannot Open

Dec 12, 2012

I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Microsoft Home and Office 2010. Everything was working fine yesterday, but when I came back to work today and attempted to open Outlook 2010, I instantly received a message saying: "Outlook failed to launch in safe mode. Do you want to start repair?" If you try to open it again, it opens a second process of OUTLOOK.EXE*32 in the Task Manager. Here is what I've already tried to do while troubleshooting:

- Restarted the computer
- Performed a MS Office Repair, it completed, rebooted (Did this twice)
- Uninstalled MS Office 2010, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted, but same problem occurred
- Verified that the other Office programs work (Word, Excel, etc)
- Tried to run "outlook.exe /resetnavpane"

I'm currently stumped at the moment. I cannot even access the profiles through Control Panel > Mail.

Using Old .pst File In Outlook 2010?

Oct 17, 2012

There are a lot of questions about this and none of the proposed solutions seems to work for me. Now that MS has moved on to the 2013 version of the software, it still does not work on 2010. What did people do? Here is the problem have a .pst file from Outlook 2007 on an old computer. I want to use that same .pst file on a new computer running Outlook 2010. I want all my new mail to go to the old .pst file and nowhere else. Now here is what I've tried and what seems to happen:When starting O'2010 it needs your email address. I create that but then it creates a new .pst file named it creates it in C:/Users/myname/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Outlook. If I try to move the new .pst file to the folder entitled C:/Users/myname/Documents/Outlook Files, then when I restart Outlook it recreates the deleted .pst file back in the AppData folder
