I try to print an email from outlook, and it just goes into a wait loop. The circle spins, and the title bar says outlook is "not responding" - I'll say! I've tried copying the e-mail and pasting it into Word. That works, but when I try to print, I get the same "not responding" situation. I've tried this with a couple of different e-mails, but the problem is the same. This is a new failure in Outllok (and Word). The only thing I've tried is rebooting my PC which didn't help. I would use the Office self-fix, but I can't find it in the 2010 edition.

Also when I look in devices and printers folder it shows up the printer with a tick showing default,Then beside that there is a greyed out printer of the same with 'copy 1' underneath it. I also had a box popping up on screen ''Script error''Yellow triangle'top left. Line 2107 Char 1 error Invalid procedure call or argument Code 0 URL:res//ieframe.dll/preview.js..Do you want to continue running scripts on this page YES NO.
I recently purchased a new laptop which came complete with Windows 7 o/s. One real problem for me is that the print size on incoming emails and all web sites is smaller than on my old XP o/s. explain in simple abc terms, if possible (I am a silver surfer!), how I can permantely enlarge the print. On XP there was an item to click termed 'increase zoom level' (I can't find something similar on Win 7) but I don't want to be having to do that all the time.
I had a virus in my pc (Rogue:Win32/FakeRean) that was detected and removed with Microsoft Forefront. After this episode, I lost all the emails that I had stored in Outlook and I'm not able to find them, the Outlook.pst file disappeared.
I'm trying to send emails using BCC, i'am able to send emails with just 1 entry on BCC. The problem starts when i enter 2 or more email address under BCC. It doesn't stay on the outbox, it stays on the sent items. All the recipients doest receive the mail. And i'm having <rx> Mail queued for delivery. on outlook log.I tried it with another computer with same setup, same email account, same email, same recipients and number of recipients. 1 BCC entry went through and was received ok and i was also able to send with 3 or more BCC entry and email was received properly.
We had a scheduled power shutdown of our plant and I sent a company wide email saying for everyone to shutdown their computers at the end of their shift.Well, our HR person forgot and left her outlook 2010 open. The next day she said none of her emails from yesterday were available.

I have upgraded from XP to Windows 7 and realised that I have lost Outlook Express. How do I get it into windows 7, bearing in mind that I cannot access it manually to transfer it?
I have upgraded from XP to Windows 7 and realised that I have lost Outlook Express. I have downloaded Windows Live Mail and need to know how to import all my emails and contacts from OUtlook Express bearing in mind that I cannot access them manually.
I am having a problem with Windows 7 search when searching for emails:
1)When searching for an outlook email in the "instant search" bar in Outlook, the results are as expected (many results are displayed for the search term) 2) However, when searching from a search box using the exact same term as in #1 above, (e.g. when using "option F"), no results are displayed.
My understanding is that both of these search methods utilize the same index, application, etc...so this is perplexing. In looking at Indexing Options, it appears to be completely indexed. I have tried to rebuild the index several times with the same results.
Just installed Windows 7 And I'm looking around for an answer on how to import my emails and address book.I was on XP and Made the Backup of my Address Contact File and also the Outlook Express Folder.
I am using Windows 7 ultimate x64 I am using Outlook 2007I want to direct my emails in to a folder on my E drivecan this be done. When I was using win XP there was a feature that allowed you to select whereyou wanted your IN emails to go but I cant find that setting in Windows 7 IS THERE ONE ?
I run an accounting program called PASTEL ACCOUNTING which generates emails that are sent to OUTLOOK 2010's outbox. i can see them in the outbox and they are subsequently sent correctly. i know this because they are received correctly by the recipient. However once the mail has left the Outbox it is not stored in the SENT folder and i therefore have no record of its existence! PASTEL tell me that since it has found its way into OUTLOOK it must be an OUTLOOK problem! i have a feeling MS will tell me its a PASTEL problem..
When I invoke the "New E-mail" function in Outlook 2010 (or "Reply") I find myself composing in 11-pt. Calibri with a font color of light blue. How do I change this? Wading through the maze of menus avails me nothing.
I've searched the forum and while i've seen similar issues going on none of the other troubleshoot techniques seem to do the trick for me. I linked out look to a domain email address I have and I am able to receive emails with no issue. When I send emails it actually shows "inbox(1)" then moves into the sent mail folder but it never arrives at the destination.
My laptop died last week. Fortunately the hard drive was unaffected and I have this now in a USB enclosure that I can access via my new laptop. The problem is that the old machine came pre-installed with the SBE version of Office 2007 whereas the new one came with a trial version of Office 2010, which has subsequently been activated as the Starter edition of Office 2010.So, I have an Office 2007 pst file and only Windows Live Mail on the new laptop.I've already done extensive searching for a solution but they all seem to require that there is a running version of Outlook in order to extract the data from the file and present it in a way that WLM can import.I did look at Mailstore Home but it says that this configuration (pst) is only supported in the Server version, which having been installed refuses to run claiming the trial period has expired.
I have a laptop running windows 7 and outlook 2007 I have no problems searching the emails on the server, but as that fills I have other folders which are saved on my HD, for some reason if I try to search for an email in one of those folders I get nothing, it used to work at one time. I get a message about items not all indexed and if I click on index status it says outlook us currently indexing your items, 4393 items remaining across all open mailboxes. This number has not gone down in hours it may have actually went up.
I have listed in my deleted emails folder 400 emails. However, it only displays this weeks, and can only access those. I want all emails in that folder to display and get access. In other folders (inbox), I can go to view - collapse/expand all groups. However, when I select the deleted emails folder, I do not have the ability to collapse/expand all groups. what can I do to view ALL of the emails in the deleted folder and get access to all of them?
I am using Outlook and I can see that there are new emails coming in. I can delete them. I cannot view the Incoming emails--I can only see them listed under the Conversations column.I also cannot send new emails out as all email addresses I attempt to use (i.e., those I have committed to memory, since none of my Contacts pop up automatically now) are now indicated to be INVALID.
I am getting this error when trying to sendand rec emails: Sending' reported error (0x8004010F) : Outlook data file cannot be accessed. I had changed the name of the folder where my pst files are but i then went and redirected them (i have 6 different pst files) to the new location and i can open up microsoft outlook OK and look at the data files fine and see all the emails etc so there is nothing wrong with the actual data files. I also went in and tested each email account and they appearto be all OK also, ie: they will send a test message and come up with NO errors.
I have installed MS Office 2010 on a new windows 7 laptop and set up outlook using the same info as on my old xp pc, I seem to be able to send emails but am not receiving them. I have also set up outlook connector for my hotmail account and this is working fine.
How would I copy e-mails (the actual e-mail file itself) from outlook express on xp over to windows 7 (windows live mail). Also I need to do the same for addresses.
Heres my problem, I have just installed windows seven and had used xp before that. Id always use outlook express for e-mails, along with all the other users. Now I have a user who wants all their e-mails that they've kept (because they liked them), and all there adresses sent to windows 7 in windows live mail. How can I do this?
I have the address book exported and saved on a flash drive, where are the e-mail files kept?
I read somewhere on the forum that to save all your Outlook 2007 emails, you have to save the "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.pst" file.
I have saved this file as well as the whole folder, but after installing Windows 7, I tried to put all the files in the same spot, yet Outlook creates its own "Outlook1.pst" file and ignores the one I put in. I tried to import as well with no luck. I only had about 10 emails but they were job related and pretty important. Can someone please help?
My outlook 2007 is trying to send more messages than what is in the outbox, it then says Preparing to send/receive....for quite a while, then fails with an error message.I have had the ISP log in remotely and check email settings. ( I have three pop3 email accounts) and he said it must be antivirus problem.I then had the antivirus people uninstall then install a updated version of Norton. The problem remained. We then deactivated the firewall...still no change.I have googled threads with this problem and cannot find a solution.Oh and I even tried the Just Answer website (which unfortunately wasted a good half hour of my time to not even give me somewhere to start)
