I've searched the forum and while i've seen similar issues going on none of the other troubleshoot techniques seem to do the trick for me. I linked out look to a domain email address I have and I am able to receive emails with no issue. When I send emails it actually shows "inbox(1)" then moves into the sent mail folder but it never arrives at the destination.
View 3 RepliesWhen I'm at work outlook 2010 will send e-mails without any problems. When I go home after work and try to send an e-mail, they go straight to the outbox folder. They won't send until I'm back at work the following day.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to send emails using BCC, i'am able to send emails with just 1 entry on BCC. The problem starts when i enter 2 or more email address under BCC. It doesn't stay on the outbox, it stays on the sent items. All the recipients doest receive the mail. And i'm having <rx> Mail queued for delivery. on outlook log.I tried it with another computer with same setup, same email account, same email, same recipients and number of recipients. 1 BCC entry went through and was received ok and i was also able to send with 3 or more BCC entry and email was received properly.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy outlook 2007 is trying to send more messages than what is in the outbox, it then says Preparing to send/receive....for quite a while, then fails with an error message.I have had the ISP log in remotely and check email settings. ( I have three pop3 email accounts) and he said it must be antivirus problem.I then had the antivirus people uninstall then install a updated version of Norton. The problem remained. We then deactivated the firewall...still no change.I have googled threads with this problem and cannot find a solution.Oh and I even tried the Just Answer website (which unfortunately wasted a good half hour of my time to not even give me somewhere to start)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI run an accounting program called PASTEL ACCOUNTING which generates emails that are sent to OUTLOOK 2010's outbox. i can see them in the outbox and they are subsequently sent correctly. i know this because they are received correctly by the recipient. However once the mail has left the Outbox it is not stored in the SENT folder and i therefore have no record of its existence! PASTEL tell me that since it has found its way into OUTLOOK it must be an OUTLOOK problem! i have a feeling MS will tell me its a PASTEL problem..

I'm seeing this issue with only one specific user, and not really sure where to start with his troubleshooting. Have read through some forums, but doesn't seem to be a prevalent issue.We've migrated his .NK2 file and most of his email cache is working. As he begins to type the address, it drops down with suggested emails. However, there are two specific addresses in the GAL which will not cache. I had him manually click on the 'To...' button in a new message, search the GAL for the user, click 'To...' once again in the bottom left of the address book to add the address to the message, click okay, and send the message. Normally this would be more than enough to get it to cache, but no such luck.

I have 68 people in the list and as stated was able to send this a week ago but not able to no matter what i do. I am running windows 7 64 bit. I am using Go Daddy and I have called them and they tell me it is in the outlook but I have someone else send the email from their outlook with the same setting and it goes fine.

I use Outlook 2010 to process several email accounts. I noticed a few days ago that a couple of the email accounts had vanished from the list. I also noticed that one still present was not sending or receiving. I tried re-entering the password and when that didn't work I deleted and re-entered the account. It tests fine but the test message never shows up in my Outlook inbox. It does show up immediately on my phone when I check my mail there.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter pressing "send/receive" pretty often my Outlook 2010 stops responding, blue ring is spinning and if I click anyplace I'm getting "fog" over screen. When I want to close program, Outlook offers to find fix or restart or shut off, if I choose fix it is searching and after while is restarting program. I have talked to Microsoft techs, they checked, everything was fine, and suggested to restart Outlook if it will happen again. I do not think this is the way how Outlook 2010 should work.
View 3 Replies View Relatedcouple of month ago a user received a new laptop and I copied her files over from the old laptop to the new one. when I attached the archived .pst files to her outlook and was went on my way. i get a call now saying that her archived emails in the archived inbox isn't showing but archived emails in the archived sub-folders are showing. I checked to make sure there wasn't any filters set up, and there wasn't. I've never seen this before. I've copied .pst files from one laptop/comps to another without any issues. Unfortunately, her old laptop was wiped clean and reissued as a spare so that avenue is closed. I haven't been able to find anything on the net besides asking to check the view settings or filters...

Only thing that help was making a new account and used, then everything worked for about a day. Then deleted new account and used original one for a day or so then failing to send again..?

I've been trying to create a Task in Outlook from a Word Document that I have created on this computer. The idea is that a shortcut to the document is created as an Outlook Task. Click on the shortcut, and voila - there is the document.The "Create Microsoft Office Task" icon DOES send the document to Outlook as a Shortcut in a Task, however, when I open the task, Outlook says:"Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: Shortcut to 'document name'."It's NOT an unsafe attachment; Outlook WILL OPEN this document if I send it as an email attachment. Outlook will open .docx files types.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to move one pst file from one laptop which has Outlook 2010 32 bit to another laptop which has Outlook 2010 64 bit installed, steps taken 1) Copied the pst file from the User/AppData/Microsoft/Outlook folder to usb. 2) Pasted the file from usb into User/Documents folder. 3) Tried to open the file in Outlook and I get the error that Outlook encountered errors while opening the file. Now how is that possible when the file is working perfectly in one laptop but when I copy and paste it into another it gets corrupted? Is it due to 32 bit to 64 bit outlook? I tried to repair it using scanpst and it brought back few mails?
