I use sometimes outlook to retrieve my emails but all spam email are also fetched, even after I mark them as Junk email in outlook. So I am wondering why the filter antispam in outlook (junk mail blocker) is not efficient?
All of my attempts to contact MS about this have resulted in being referred to a different MS forum. I am not getting a response. Can anyone provide direction? This a real drag. I do not like using my ISP email address as default for sending.

I had had the Firefox browser and never had a problem copying and pasting a previously written e-mail in Yahoo Mail in a New Message. Now, however, since I ditched the Firefox browser and downloaded IE 9.0 (which does seems to be much faster in every respect), when I copy a previously written e-mail and paste that message into a new e-mail, all the HTML with color text and everything is gone! It seems like IE doesn't like to be copied in Yahoo Mail. It's a "bear" for me, for in my business it's necessary for me to write a letter using the same information I had typed previousy, and it's been a tremendous time saver to just copy and paste it. Now, I can't. Has anyone else experienced this same problem ???
Problem #1 ... I deleted my Yahoo.com account and opened a new Yahoo att.net account, as a sub-account for AT&T. I changed password for the new account ... now when I clicked on my Yahoo acct. profile I was said "You are FORBIDDEN to access this page". What the Hell is going on? I was on online support chat with ATT yesterday, ge a pw in the sub-account, and I think after that I got that "Forbidden" message. I found out after I quit the session.Aghhh......Problem #2 - I can not log in Yahoo Messenger any more. I entered a new password and the same User ID (was not changed) but it's dead to me. Editing to say, I am not sure if these 2 problems are connected or not. Messenger says that Yahoo server is not responsive, or something like that, about the server.
Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to access their email (random ones) or Yahoo! Mail's newest configuration after you upgraded to Windows 7?
I have IE8, Firefox's latest and Safari and none of these browsers will allow me to access my Yahoo email, except in "classic." I spent several hours on the phone with Sony (I have a Vaio and the Windows 7 upgrade was free), and they couldn't understand why this was happeneing in each of the browsers. I sent an email to Yahoo, but I haven't heard back from them. The tech I talked to at Sony said that quite a few people had called in with the Yahoo issue. Any thoughts?
Yahoo mail keeps telling me my screen resolution is not set correctly when it is already set at its highest resolution which is 1366 x 768, which is higher than they recommend.

A quick (I hope) minor problem with creating a shortcut to my Yahoo mail on the desktop.I can save this item in Favorites, but I am unable to get a result when I click "Send to Desktop".the option of "Sending" comes up if I Right Click on it, but there is never a shortcut there ??
This has never been a major problem but it gets annoying that I need to open Favorites to check my Yahoo mail.On my XP this has never been a problem, and it is always there, and operating, but I try this every week and get no result on the Win 7.
I am running Mozilla Firefox and after recently updating Firefox and plug ins, noticed my email screen has strikethroughs on all the tabs at the top of the screen above the inbox: delete, reply, forward, move, spam, actions. In addition the check boxes next to each individual email (for fast check off and delete) is missingTo the left of the Inbox are my folders and they also have strikethroughs on the Check mail, New, and go tabs. The email is functional, but the entire screen looks like its unfinished.
Just installed MS Office 2010 and set it up so I can use my Yahoo! email. The Drafts folder and the Sent Items folder aren't taking their contents over from Yahoo to Outlook.
My Yahoo home page and related yahoo pages won't display ads, does anyone know how to fix this. I have uninstalled IE8 reinstalled it, restored advanced settings and reset internet explorer it worked for a short while after i did this now its playing up again.I get the usual diagnose internet connection and of course ther is nothing wrong with it. I forgot to say its windows 7 pro I am running, I would update to IE9 but I hate it if only they kept the layout the same as IE8
Someone is sending spam from my e-mail address to my e-mail contacts. I only know this because people are asking and some e-mail are being returned as not delivered. I don't use a password, but I guess it's too late for that now.I recently started using Thunderbird for my e-mail. I was using Yahoo.
We are a small company with 15 users and we have been blacklisted in several sites for sending spam, everytime we ask for removal, they do, but after few days, we are there again. Cash flow in the company is really tight, we can not afford to pay a tech guy!
This all started when one day my G930 Logitech headset started becoming a pain in the ass to use. I had the charging dock plugged into one of the two USB ports behind my HP ZR30w monitor. Then after a few days I began to get a USB Device Not Recognized Error constantly. Like you hear the Windows Pinging sound when you connect and disconnect a USB device all the time. Its like spamming me with the sound. I tracked it down to this USB port, Port_#0001.Hub_#0011 (which is the USB port behind my monitor HP ZR30w, it is the inner most USB on the back.I ran virus scans, spyware scans and nothing shows up, I had to rule out any fishy stuff. I have no idea how to get this error to stop showing up...it literally spams me with the error and sound when nothing is plugged in to that port...as I am typing this its yelling at me.The catch is though, this is when the USB port is empty...nothing is plugged into it...it is like a phantom USB port that is just going haywire...Now if I plug a device in to it...the device works fine and the USB Device error does not show up, but for instance in this case, my G930 headset ends up disconnecting and reconnecting and throwing me errors...Is this a bad USB port? I am running Windows 7 64bit. I tried disabling the USB port all together but it still shows that a device is attempting to connect to that port and is not being recognized. Also I have updated all my drivers, updated my motherboard, the only thing i have not done is reinstall USB controllers but i do not know how to do that. In the process of finding the problematic USB port I ended up mapping all the USB ports and their numbers so how I found out which USB port it was, was due to trial and error and finding it was the one behind my monitor.
I've have this issue every since I've upgraded to windows 7 from windows vista 6 months ago. I've switched my HDD to a SSD and reinstalled windows 7 and yet it still at random times spam types the numberpad 6 non stop like 6666666. It can go on for a while like 10 to 20 minute and it stops until the next random time it decides to do it again. Restarting computer stops it for a minute or 2 and starts again. All I can do is turn off the numberpad button but it will spam the right arrow key of that 6 button, basically it's the number pad 6 that's causing the problem.
I've switched 3 usb keyboards brand new ones since this been happening so it isn't keyboard issue. I've been looking online for this issue and found no famililar issues on this. I am starting to wonder if it's because of my motherboard, cpu, rams, or any hardware failure besides the harddive and keyboard that's doing this. Currently I am using a coolermaster quick rapid pro keyboard and a razer naga mouse. My computer is a dell inspirion. Also I have Norton 360 and I've scan my pc many of times but it doesn't show any sign of virus. Reinstalled windows as well. Could it be also be rootkits?
