I use sometimes outlook to retrieve my emails but all spam email are also fetched, even after I mark them as Junk email in outlook. So I am wondering why the filter antispam in outlook (junk mail blocker) is not efficient?

The above is directions from Yahoo on how to block spam. Problem is the spam email does not have an address that I can locate. It only has the body of the message (advertising).

All my mail has been going to the Delete and Junk box Instead of Inbox (For some reason my Seven activation did`nt it went to Inbox.)running Win. 7 and had a Android tablet connected to my mail address and a Gmail account. All sorts of problems occurred so removed both of these but the direction straight to Deleted box continues. I can move mail from Deleted to Inbox but this is only with.current mail in Del. box.

I have a user who tells me she deleted her Junk Mail folder from Outlook 2007. She has two e-mail profiles and claims it is missing from both. I won't have access to the computer for a day or so, but I wanted to find a solution beforehand.
I assumed it would be as simple as going to Deleted Items and restoring the folder...but from what I've been reading, that isn't the case, and she shouldn't have been able to delete the folder in the first place.
In Windows Live Mail (pop3) I want to create a rule so that if the sender is not in my contacts/address book the email is sent to the Junk Folder.
The Rules menu does not seem to offer this very simple option for sorting junk mail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis all started when one day my G930 Logitech headset started becoming a pain in the ass to use. I had the charging dock plugged into one of the two USB ports behind my HP ZR30w monitor.Then after a few days I began to get a USB Device Not Recognized Error constantly. Like you hear the Windows Pinging sound when you connect and disconnect a USB device all the time. Its like spamming me with the sound. I tracked it down to this USB port, Port_#0001.Hub_#0011 (which is the USB port behind my monitor HP ZR30w, it is the inner most USB on the back.I ran virus scans, spyware scans and nothing shows up, I had to rule out any fishy stuff. I have no idea how to get this error to stop showing up...it literally spams me with the error and sound when nothing is plugged in to that port...as I am typing this its yelling at me.The catch is though, this is when the USB port is empty...nothing is plugged into it...it is like a phantom USB port that is just going haywire...Now if I plug a device in to it...the device works fine and the USB Device error does not show up, but for instance in this case, my G930 headset ends up disconnecting and reconnecting and throwing me errors...Is this a bad USB port? I am running Windows 7 64bit. I tried disabling the USB port all together but it still shows that a device is attempting to connect to that port and is not being recognized.Also I have updated all my drivers, updated my motherboard, the only thing i have not done is reinstall USB controllers but i do not know how to do that. In the process of finding the problematic USB port I ended up mapping all the USB ports and their numbers so how I found out which USB port it was, was due to trial and error and finding it was the one behind my monitor.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've have this issue every since I've upgraded to windows 7 from windows vista 6 months ago. I've switched my HDD to a SSD and reinstalled windows 7 and yet it still at random times spam types the numberpad 6 non stop like 6666666. It can go on for a while like 10 to 20 minute and it stops until the next random time it decides to do it again. Restarting computer stops it for a minute or 2 and starts again. All I can do is turn off the numberpad button but it will spam the right arrow key of that 6 button, basically it's the number pad 6 that's causing the problem.
I've switched 3 usb keyboards brand new ones since this been happening so it isn't keyboard issue. I've been looking online for this issue and found no famililar issues on this. I am starting to wonder if it's because of my motherboard, cpu, rams, or any hardware failure besides the harddive and keyboard that's doing this. Currently I am using a coolermaster quick rapid pro keyboard and a razer naga mouse. My computer is a dell inspirion.Also I have Norton 360 and I've scan my pc many of times but it doesn't show any sign of virus. Reinstalled windows as well. Could it be also be rootkits?

I ran an analysis on my laptop for defrag using auslogics as I haven't done one in a year and it also told me that I had junk files and registry errors etc that I needed to get rid of before defragging. I've run Ccleaner, Glary utilities and advanced systemcare free and it still tells me there are files/errors to get rid of. View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to disable all auto play, auto monitor detection, auto audio detection, ect. i want to tell windows that i have X amount of monitors and to always display on them, that i have 7.2 surround and to ALWAYS send audio out via HDMI. if i unplug the hdmi or a monitor i dont want windows to do jack i just want it to sit there and play/display to a component that is not plugged in. all this auto detection crap does is waste my time and cause issues with my day to day computing.

I'm afraid to continue the upgrade because I don't know what's going to happen or how it's going to affect the programs and devices. Should I just go ahead and uninstall everything listed in the second message? And how do I update the driver for the Keyboard Filter? I don't really know what I'm doing.
Win 7 lacks a search filter in the search bar of windows explorer.The only way to search with filters is to find the keywords such as "kind: videos" etc. XP had a much better search than Win7
