Mail Is Going Into Delete And Junk Box Instead Of Inbox
Aug 29, 2012
All my mail has been going to the Delete and Junk box Instead of Inbox (For some reason my Seven activation did`nt it went to Inbox.)running Win. 7 and had a Android tablet connected to my mail address and a Gmail account. All sorts of problems occurred so removed both of these but the direction straight to Deleted box continues. I can move mail from Deleted to Inbox but this is only with.current mail in Del. box.

I have a user who tells me she deleted her Junk Mail folder from Outlook 2007. She has two e-mail profiles and claims it is missing from both. I won't have access to the computer for a day or so, but I wanted to find a solution beforehand.
I assumed it would be as simple as going to Deleted Items and restoring the folder...but from what I've been reading, that isn't the case, and she shouldn't have been able to delete the folder in the first place.

I use sometimes outlook to retrieve my emails but all spam email are also fetched, even after I mark them as Junk email in outlook. So I am wondering why the filter antispam in outlook (junk mail blocker) is not efficient?

In Windows Live Mail (pop3) I want to create a rule so that if the sender is not in my contacts/address book the email is sent to the Junk Folder.
The Rules menu does not seem to offer this very simple option for sorting junk mail.

Spent many years using Outlook Express and really liked that I could have multiple email accounts use the same inbox. Live Mail uses its "quick view" to appear to combine all your accounts into a single inbox but maintains a "real" folder structure for each account. Can I make Live Mail use a single set of folders (in, sent, deleted, etc.) or am I stuck with MS' design?

I just set up Microsoft 2010 this week and was configuring Outlook 2010. After everything was done, I found that every time I send an email, a copy of it is automatically sent to my inbox. This would normally be fixable by applying a rule (every email I send to my own account be automatically deleted or something to that extent), but this email account is for the entire company, and they are still being forwarded the copies that I send.
Would this issue have anything to do with me using 2010 and my co-workers using 2007? Or maybe because we're using gmail, which hasn't been confirmed to work with Outlook 2010?

I have imported my Outlook Express email messages Folders into new laptop and I have imported those Message Folders into Windows LiveMail. All good. But all my Message folders are sitting in Windows live Mail in a seperate folder called Imported Folder/Local Folder at the bottom. How do I move all the imported Folders so they are in my INBOX - instead of being a seperate folder at bottom of screen. I would like it to look as close as it can be to Outlook Express that I am used to.

Every so often - not each time I open Windows Live Mail but daily or every other day there is no inbox. Also my (only) email account has disappeared. When I make the account again the inbox reappears (including all the mail that I had already deleted).I use Windows 7 64 bit.

Having trouble with Windiows Live Mail 2011 Quick View "All Inbox" and "All Sent" not displaying any messages. I have 4 email accounts and I used to be able to see each account email in the one All Inbox as well as the account Inbox, now I can not see any emails in All Inbox or All Sent, but there are emails in each of my account Inboxes.
I have tried turning off and on Quick Views, compacting messages, and the five time restart of Windows Live Mail

I have live mail on my office pc. I press update all, it syncs online & my web browser based (live) hotmail gets all the new messages, folders etc. I want to go on holiday with my netbook. 1. When on holiday, I have live mail on my netbook. If I press sync, will it then download/update my netbook with all the browser based hotmail messages/folders etc.? So my netbook Live mail will look just like the office PC Live mail, will it? 2. When I get back off holiday, on my office pc, I press update, this I presume will then get all the new messages/folders from the browser on Live mail, will it? 3. But then now I am back, I want to delete all the messages/folders off my netbook for security, If I press or it accidentally, or I go away again & press update all on the netbook, will the browser Live mail then update the folders, deleting lots of them, as it is using the netbook as the latest update that it thinks I want? So to summarise, is there a setting on my netbook live mail, that says delete these folders/messages, but dont delete/sync online?

I am running Mozilla Firefox and after recently updating Firefox and plug ins, noticed my email screen has strikethroughs on all the tabs at the top of the screen above the inbox: delete, reply, forward, move, spam, actions. In addition the check boxes next to each individual email (for fast check off and delete) is missingTo the left of the Inbox are my folders and they also have strikethroughs on the Check mail, New, and go tabs. The email is functional, but the entire screen looks like its unfinished.

In Microsoft Outlook, if you open an email you've received and click on the "delete" icon, the email window just closes and takes you back to the main Outlook window. This is an option that you set in the preferences, but Windows Mail either doesn't have it or I just can't find it.
What happens in Windows Mail is that when you click on the delete icon, instead of closing the email and going back to the main window, it just goes to the next email.
Has anyone figured this one out?

I don't know the best place to post this so please advise me if its in the wrong place. I ran an analysis on my laptop for defrag using auslogics as I haven't done one in a year and it also told me that I had junk files and registry errors etc that I needed to get rid of before defragging. I've run Ccleaner, Glary utilities and advanced systemcare free and it still tells me there are files/errors to get rid of. I don't really want to buy a program atm just to get rid of these if theres a perfectly good free program I can use - does anyone know of anything else other than the ones mentioned that will clear this up? Is it essential that I do

I original bought 4x2g of these:[URL]- G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL6D-4GBNQ They are rated 6-6-6-18 with a Cas Latency of 6, also have a speed of DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)Now since I only need to replace 1 stick, I figured try to get the same exact stick, but it seems they dont sell the exact ones any more.So I was going to get this single 2g stick of G.Skill's: [URL]- G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5S-2GBPQBut it seems to be rated a bit slower?5-5-5-15, lower voltage, a Cas Latency of 5 & its speed is DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)Will this limit the computers ability to really perform at it's highest possible rate of 8g if the 4th stick is slower like that?
