Yahoo Mail Strikethroughs On Reply, Delete, Forward Tabs?
Dec 29, 2012I am running Mozilla Firefox and after recently updating Firefox and plug ins, noticed my email screen has strikethroughs on all the tabs at the top of the screen above the inbox: delete, reply,forward, move, spam, actions. In addition the check boxes next to each individual email (for fast check off and delete) is missingTo the left of the Inbox are my folders and they also have strikethroughs on the Check mail, New, and go tabs.The email is functional, but the entire screen looks like its unfinished.

Oct 4, 2010i unable to signin my yahoo messenger, skype and even cannot load to yahoo mail website. but i still can surf other website normally. i noticed that some of the page that required password are unable to load. the will be an error that ask to check the intrnet conection. im using LAN connection. i tried to login yahoo mail, and signin skype and ym by using my friends pc in my home and i can login/singin without any trouble. we using the same internet connction.i already reformat my laptop cause i thought there is laptop problem. but there is still no luck. same problem still occur. i scaned my lappy with updated antvrus (btdefender) but no virus detected. i also tried unable the firewall in my system but no changed.

Dec 14, 2012A couple of days ago i noticed that when i log into yahoo.com and enter my username and password the URL automatically goes to us.mg4.mail.yahoo.com. I had entered the proxy address a few times and have read on the web that this is server address. Oct 21, 2012I just changed over from Windows Vista and installed Windows 7 32 bit. I did a total backup onto an external hard drive. Now that I have my new mail installed from Microsoft Office 2010 which is Microsoft Outlook, I want to reinstall all my mail contacts from my backed up system. Does anyone know the file ext to look for and under what folder would these contacts be posted in? Also, would anything change from Vista to 7 as far as the ext name ?

Mar 26, 2012I had had the Firefox browser and never had a problem copying and pasting a previously written e-mail in Yahoo Mail in a New Message. Now, however, since I ditched the Firefox browser and downloaded IE 9.0 (which does seems to be much faster in every respect), when I copy a previously written e-mail and paste that message into a new e-mail, all the HTML with color text and everything is gone! It seems like IE doesn't like to be copied in Yahoo Mail. It's a "bear" for me, for in my business it's necessary for me to write a letter using the same information I had typed previousy, and it's been a tremendous time saver to just copy and paste it. Now, I can't. Has anyone else experienced this same problem ???

I changed password for the new account ... now when I clicked on my Yahoo acct. profile I was said "You are FORBIDDEN to access this page". What the Hell is going on? I was on online support chat with ATT yesterday, ge a pw in the sub-account, and I think after that I got that "Forbidden" message. I have IE8, Firefox's latest and Safari and none of these browsers will allow me to access my Yahoo email, except in "classic." I spent several hours on the phone with Sony (I have a Vaio and the Windows 7 upgrade was free), and they couldn't understand why this was happeneing in each of the browsers. I sent an email to Yahoo, but I haven't heard back from them. The tech I talked to at Sony said that quite a few people had called in with the Yahoo issue. Any thoughts?

Nov 25, 2009I'm currently using WLM as my email client with my ISP's email account and not signing in to my MSN account.
I can import contacts and the like but their birthdays don't appear in the Calendar unless I sign into MSN and then only the contacts' birthdays' that I have in MSN appear in the Calendar.
So if I don't want to use my MSN account with WLM then I have to create the Birthday calendar manually...
This is my gripe with WLM, it "encourages" the end user to use a Live mail account or all the features in WLM don't work.
If I'm wrong about this could someone explain how to get non MSN contacts birthdays to appear in WLM calendar.

Nov 24, 2011A quick (I hope) minor problem with creating a shortcut to my Yahoo mail on the desktop.I can save this item in Favorites, but I am unable to get a result when I click "Send to Desktop".the option of "Sending" comes up if I Right Click on it, but there is never a shortcut there ??
This has never been a major problem but it gets annoying that I need to open Favorites to check my Yahoo mail.On my XP this has never been a problem, and it is always there, and operating, but I try this every week and get no result on the Win 7.
