Two months ago, I bought a number of components and assembled my PC, using Windows 7 Home 64-bit.A few times a week during 'cold' start-up, I get a BSOD with STOP id 0x000F4. There are also 'cold' start-ups that are successful. When I do a restart or a shutdown followed by a start-up this problem has never occured yet. What is always the case is that the BSOD hangs in the phase "initializing disk for crash dump" and the led of the harddisk is burning constantly, but nothing happens. As a consequence, I do not have a crash dump file of this problem.I did already a complete reinstall with the OS of my system, but the problem remains. The tests of the disk, memory and graphics acard are ok.
A blue screen of death consistently appears to my system (Gamer PC Intel Core i7 2600K 120GB SSD 1TB 8GB GTX560Ti). It's code is the following : Stop 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800AC5F450, xxx, xxx). I have updated mobo's bios and ssd's firmware to the latest version. In my operating system -windpws 7 x64bit sp1- i have disabled the option of shuting down hard disk drives when not in use. I have done so following advices that i found in technical forums.
My computer was suffering from random bsods and viruses before. I atributed the bsods to viruses, but after reinstalling windows 7, I found that the bsods still happened. It seems to happen when installing drivers, or running prime95. Booting into safe mode allows me to pretty much do anything.
When crashing, it does a slow crash, where I can move the mouse around, but the startbar and any other programs dont respond. Explorer then crashes, followed shortly by a bluescreen.
every morning we get at least 5 BSOD's before our system actually decides to work. I am not fast enough to catch the error codes as it dumps the files too fast. I complete the system restore and i get BSOD a few more times, and it even just cycles and won't start. i need to make sure i have a hardware issue before returning it to the place i brought it from or they will charge me lots to fix. I also re-installed windows 2 weeks ago, and it worked fine for a week, before returning
Ive been having bsod for a while now. I have a sony vaio .I've tried restoring my laptop and it wouldn't get rid of it. And i don't think it's anything that I've downloaded that Is effecting it because I resorted it . And now I can't even get into my computer... The error is 0xe00000000 I believe , but there were some other errors
I was playing Skyrim, closed it and steam and only had firefox running, left computer for ~5 min, when came back, I had BSOD. I shut computer and restarted it, now it gives on start BSOD.It has done this couple times before, but then it usually starts to work instantly after BSOD or after few hours offline and then reboot. Last time it did this (about couple weeks ago), I changed settings so it would make this log dump file, but now I cant get to windows and cant get the file.
i have been getting bsod on vista, 7 32bit and now in clean install 64bit i bought new ram memorys and that helped little bit 2x2gig. ddr2 and 512mb ddr2, if i take that 512mb ddr2 away from computer this will get a lot of slower and gets a lot of more bsod.
now i mostly get bluescreen when i am at Internet etc.
I have recently been experiencing a BSOD everytime i startup (in normal or safe-mode) around 40-50 minutes after startup. It seems to just shut down every program then go to BSOD while is able to create a dump file but never automatically restart.I've also used spy-bot and Malwarebyte to find any corruptions or viruses and nothing fixed the problem. I've google'd and couldn't find anything to my predicament from other BSOD's. I personally think it's the RAM going bad (this is a built computer by a friend about 8 months ago, top of the line gamer computer, windows 7 ultimate).
Windows 7 Home 64 bit2010 original software on latoI keep getting the BSOD in normal mode after a few minutes of starting my laptop. It is giving me the error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE and it is saying that it is caused by driver "ntoskrnl.exe" I have attached the dump and system report
I recently built a computer- cpu, i5 750, mobo, P55A-UD5, 4gb of g.skill eco, a second 9800GT to compliment my first one and a new seasonic x-series 750W, running windows 7 ultimate 64bit. I have built quite a few computers but with this one all the right drivers are installed but every time i shut down my computer for the night and get back on it in the morning instant BSOD every time i start it up. Then when i restart it it BSOD again, and again and again until i go into bios and load fai safe defaults even though it is on the default settings or if i remove one of the graphics cards when setting failsafe defaults doesn't work.
then eventually it will start again with out BSOD till the next morning. Now i have a slight feeling it could be the graphics. I have tested my HDD's and my ram. The thing with the graphics cards is that i've had the first one an MSI one for a few years it uses a 6pin mobo connector and has slightly higher clocks compared to my xfx one but the xfx one doesn't have a power connector (i think its a newer design) it also has lower clocks.
I don't know if it is the graphics cards or the drivers that are having issues it seems that if i remove one of the cards (the xfx one) windows will boot fine then i can whack it back in and do some gaming. Another thing might be the ram it is that new eco stuff from g.skill that uses 1.35v but my mobo doesn't like that so it puts it to 1.5v, but i'm am not sure. If you need any of the report files from windows just say. the graphics drivers i'm using for sli were the 196.21 nforce windows 7 64 bit drivers.
on friday i got hit wit some ransomware got rid of it and now it seems like my PC has gotten worse since it takes sometimes up 10 minutes to start up and i have already seen the BSOD on two occasions.so whats the problem do i need to do a full on recovery, by a new pc or can this problem be fixed. i am running windows 7 hp 64 bit I believe
Started up my computer this morning to find that it blue screens on the windows start up logo. I didnt change anything in the BIOS or mess with anything in the system at all that would make it do this. It also blue screens when i try and go into safe mode. I tried start up repair, system restore, system image recovery, last known good start up..... every option available to me but to nothing works. I have tons of data on this computer so a clean reinstall is not an option. Ive been looking all over the web using my other computer to try and find an answer but cant find anything that works.I get this error on start up "STOP 0x00000074 BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO"
my computer is about 2 years old. It first came with Windows vista 64. A few months ago I got a hold of a copy of windows 7 pro 32, so I wanted to check it out, even If I was going to take a hit on ram. Well now I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64, but after doing a fresh install I kept getting BSOD after the windows logo. I was able to complete the setup after removing all my ram except for one stick. The same problem persists after setup. I can boot up in safe mode just fine with all of my ram.
I was just sitting there doing nothing but just watching my screens (live financial charts) when all of a sudden the screen saver (I have "Mystify" setup) trying to start because I did not touch the keyboard and mouse for a few minutes. Then 2 of the 4 screen went blank and the remaining 2 froze and just gave me BSoD. This BSoD is not the first one and I suspect the screen saver is missing some files, etc. or Windows is corrupted. I think all my drivers are updated (with SlimDriver freeware). This time, the BSoD - as I recall it had a IRQL_. message at the top.
I continue to get random BSOD just after start up (usually within 10 minutes) then they come occasionally after that. I have reloaded Windows and still have this issue. I believe this is a driver issue, but I'm lost. Have tested memory several times - no problem detected.
in the middle of playing a online mmo the blue screen came up. Restarted and now windows fails to start. I have tryed to use start up recovery option and it try's to start but before start up repair screen comes up and my only option is to restart. The error code is
And so on, I have not seen a named driver at all so I have no idea where to go here the computer was running fine before and I built it only 3 weeks ago and have done no updates or software changes in the last week.
I went to the toilet for 5 minutes and when I came back, my computer was off so I tried restarting it and this happened. Its my custom built PC. Its been fine for a few months but a few weeks ago, It said before start up: SATA3G_6 Hard Disk:S.M.A.R.T. Status BAD, backup and replace. I don't know whats happened.

When I attempt to play fear 3 on steam, the fear 3 logo comes up then the pc either blue screens or just restarts itself. This is the only time I get a bsod as far as I know and my pc seems to be playing other games perfectly.
i been getting bsod alot in the past week a few time i got a few with ROQE LESS OR EQUAL something like that but i think i solve that already. now i getting the 0x000000f4 it just appear yesterday when i was watching a movie online snice then no matter if i start it on normal or any safe mode it appear after like 5 second after the restart so i cant get the dump files. the only thing i overclock is the cpu fan thats it.
Laltely my computer has been BOSDing from basically everything I do. When ones is about to come on, my firefox starts crashing or my steam client stops responding. It seems that these are the triggers but i am not sure.I just built this computer a year ago and it had no problems until today.Specs:windows 7 home remium x64 this is the original os full retail version this system is about a year old I have reinstalled the os several times thinking it would be fixed so this installation is only a few hours old as I am typing out this thread.
My laptop has been crashing rather frequently, and is starting to be a pain. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, original installed OS on system, OEM. Bought in 2009. I have not re-installed the OS.
The BlueScreen that comes up has no line of data at the top on bold print! It has the STOP code at the bottom, but the screen only stays up long enough for it to quickly make a dmp file before it automatically reboots. Therefore, no idea what it's trying to tell me! Once it restarts successfully, the little window pops up with the BCCodes etc., and links to the Minidump folder. Oldest saved Info (after the first time, when I was clueless and closed the window):

I have uninstalled and reinstalled (admin) the latest driver several times. I dont have any USB 3 devices yet and have nothing plugged into a USB 3. I am starting to think my last option is to disable all USB 3 on my computer but when I get a USB 3 I will be screwed.
I have been working on the problem for 2 days now and have gotten to various stages of working and not working. The issue at its worst will always BSOD when starting windows even using the various options. I have since then used the command prompt option form the install disc to run chkdsk and other repair options (fixmbr sfc /scannow) and am now able to boot into windows most of the time. Oh and sfc /scannow reports corruption but unable to fixI believe it is the work of some sort of malware but i have run updated versions of kaspersky and malwarebytes as well as rkill in an attempt to remove it but all report back that there is no malware. If that is the case then I feel like my drivers have been corrupted somehow and have replaced most of them but still get BSOD's but usually after I try to run a full security scan.
The only lead I have is the log file from sfc /scannow. Oh and most of my issues happened after running driver verifier so thats why I believe it is a corrupted driver and I recently believe that my Diablo 3 account was stolen by a keylogger but yet again using all the different security options that I have since downloaded found nothing including running avg with a linux disk at startup.Anyway Im sure i forgot to add stuff that I did but hopefuly we can figure it out i feel like my only uption is to do a repair install which i think I tried bu didnt work since my install drive is only 64GB and has 6 GB space left.
Dell Inspiron laptop, working fine, shut itself down last night mid work and now will kind of start up but only go so far. am left with Black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left hand corner. Managed to get f8 to work after a while. It runs the pre-boot system assessment build 4116 - everything gets a "pass" except The hard drive which gets a "running". All memory tests "pass" also. After this it will go no further, no more screens. Running windows 7....F2 and F12 will not work either so cannot start in safe!
I had a BSOD problem launching Borderlands 2, and some other games too. My Video Card drivers are up to date and i still have BSOD. I got blue screen once more, and my pc restarted. Now I can't even start my windows, I get some black screen before windows 7 logo appears and I can't even start my windows in safe mode nor can I boot from a CD/DVD.

My computer has been acting like an idiot the last months, freezing a lot, sometimes resulting in a BSOD.
Notable programs that seems to initiate these freezes are Google Chrome and something as silly as pushing the start menu button and searching for something.
1 SATA HDD Primary OS Disk 2x SATA HDD Backup Disks in RAID 1
TO:
1 SATA SSD Primary OS Disk 1 SATA HDD Backup Disk [No RAID]
Everything worked great, no problem. So, since I don't have a RAID array anymore, I decided that I could change my BIOS setting to AHCI instead of RAID. I have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R v1.0 mobo.
These are my steps:Settings > Integrated Peripherals > "SATA RAID/AHCI Mode" = RAID --> Changed this setting to AHCI Reboot Windows Start screen shows up, but as the color orbs are spinning into focus, BSOD and immediate restart Repeated reboot several times, same outcome Next Step:Launch BIOS settings Integrated Peripherals > "Onboard SATA/IDE Ctrl Mode" = RAID --> Changed this setting to AHCI Reboot Windows Start screen shows up, but as the color orbs are spinning into focus, BSOD and immediate restart Repeated reboot several times, same outcome Switch both settings back to RAID, reboot, and Windows starts up just fine, no issues.
What am I missing? Why can't I set it to AHCI mode without BSODs?
So ive been getting the black screen with movable cursor lately and have tried many a methods to remove it i tried checking in my event log for something, and this is waht it said "The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:dtsoftbus01" So what does this mean and how can i fix this?
