Mar 23, 2008

message can not be sent. the authentication setting might not be correct for your computer. I can send all my emails except to one person, who also uses comcast as the server. I've called comcast before and they deny they are the problem even though my settings are spot on with what comcast wants.

Wrong Default Address

Jun 24, 2008

I have 3 e mail address's and one of them is my default address, which is subscribed to a mailing list for my football team. I get quite a few e mails on this list and often send to it. For some strange reason tonight, when I try to reply to an e mail that has been sent to the list, it tries to reply from one of my other e mail address's rather than my default one. Yet when I do a new e mail its ok, and creates one from my default e mail address!

Not Sending Email To Alternate Address

May 24, 2008

I have several contacts in my Windows Mail Contacts that I have mutiple e-mail addresses set up. (Using Vista). When I start typing the contact name in the "Send" window, only the "Preferred" e-mail shows up. How can I select their alternate e-mail address in the "Send" window?' I have tried right clicking and just about everyting else. There must be an easy way to bring up a list of all the e-mails in a contact (both preferred and the others) so I can then select which one or ones to send the message to.

Outlook Stopped Sending Emails

Dec 30, 2009

I receive the following error message everytime I send emails through my aapt account via Outlook or Windows Mail The rejected e-mail address was 'xxx@xxxx.com.au'. Subject 'Fw: Christmas Wishes.', Account: 'mail.aapt.net.au', Server: 'mail.aapt.net.au', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 5.7.1 : Client host rejected: (SPM:RAD) User account blocked from sending email due to policy violation -Please contact support', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I have used aapt as my Service Provider for a few months. I was using Outlook to send and receive mails. Everything was working as expected. Then one day outlook stopped sending emails but it could receive emails. I contacted aapt and they told me they didn't support outlook only express and there was nothing they could do. So I changed from outlook to Windows mail. I completed the set up which was identical to outlook and again I received the same problem and error message.....

Address Bar: Why Can't Get Contacts To Populate When Composing Emails

Mar 23, 2008

I haven't been able to figure out why I can't get my contacts to populate when I'm composing emails. In my old outlook it would give me options when I started typing in the To/CC/BCC bars and made it much easier & faster to email people. Now, unless I've sent an email to a person earlier in the day, I need to type the entire email address or click on the To/CC/BCC tabs. Is there a setting to allow the population of addresses to resume?
