I'm having a problem, and this problem just started today. I was recieving the emails yesterday to my inbox, but when I logged on the computer to check them today there was none in the inbox, and I know for a fact that there would definately be something in my inbox today because I get notification sent to my inbox when someone replys to me on other sites.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have established an email account with Windows email and linked my yahoo email account. I can send messages yet I do not recieve the test messages to my Windows Mail account they do go to my Yahoo account but not to my Windows Mail inbox. I do not know what to do. Looked for answers on Windows website but did not find what I was looking for can someone please help me. Also when I click on the Send/Recieve tab it has me log in to my email account and then does not take login. Yet the account works. I do not understand.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor the last week some of my emails have been disapearing from my inbox after a couple of seconds. They are not in my junk folder. My ISP says its not a problem their end. I am considering reistalling windows mail but don't really know what I'm doing so am reluctant to do this if there is another solution - this may not fix anyway and would I loose all my emails currently in my inbox?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Aunt just got her new vista with windows mail and within 2 days got a phishing email and a smutty spam email before she got her junk filters set. Now for some reason the Will NOT DELETE. we have tried everything from drag and drop to move to folder and setting the filters so it would move then to the junk folder and nothing works. i have gone through windows KB and vista help and support and found nothing that worked. i have searched everywhere but can't seem to find anything that might help.

I have gone into the account options and checked "save a copy of email on server until deleted from inbox", but I still cannot access any of my emails on my laptop.

They mailed my first one 12/28/07 and the second on 1/3/08 and I called and request another on 1/14/08. I have not recieved any of these. My address is correct. They advised they had a no refund policy.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've noticed almost a dozen or so threads about this problem in the last 24 hours, this tells me something is screwed up, somewhere along the line, and Ive got similar problems, mail stuck in outbox mostly attachments of pictures, and it refuses to go, and I keep getting error messages. I've a hotmail account, and it worked with Outlook 2003 fine until a few weeks back, then slowly things started going wrong, and mail was not getting sent, I tried deleting and creating the account, but time after time, the same persistant problems arose....
I then removed Outlook, and Outlook connector, as all of a sudden my send and recieve tabs dissapeared, re-installed, and re created my account, and the send and recieve tabs never came back......bummer....I've searched online for soloutions, and never found one!...................

View 9 Replies View Relatedwindows mail has trouble sending and recieving e-mail, it will download 4 or 5 messages and then lock up on one for hours till we have to cnacel and re-recieve the mail then we get duplicates of everything and then it will lock up on a different message. most messages have to be sent twice to go through mainly sending quickbooks stuff, invoices etc.. I have read a few posts so far about this we have norton antivirus. Norton says windows mail problem or isp problem. isp says norton problem email scanning is off.

View 9 Replies View RelatedInstalled SP1 late last week and I'm quite unhappy with it. Stupid SP turned all the start up items and proccesses on, that I'd spent weeks filtering through and turning off. I've turned off pretty much everything, yet my computer takes about twice as long to boot up as before. I HATE that stupid icon they've used to replace the hourglass, because it's ALWAYS there.
In addition, the newest oddity is only the 1st person to login can get their hotmail without a reboot. If I login under my username and get hotmail, then my wife switches user and tries to get her hotmail she can login, but can't view her inbox. The opposite is true if she logs in first and I switch user. Who knows what else this SP screwed up but I haven't found yet. Anybody else have this issue and figure out a fix?
All i can get to is my inbox. The whole other thing on the left with my other folders is gone. I cant get it back

and found over 1,000 files with .eml extension. The names where unrecognizable.
The size of all these files is over 100 gb
What are these email files and why are there so many and can I safely remove them?
Also in the Outbox I have over 100 gb of .nws files.
Does anyone have this problem? I created an e-mail with an image, when I send the e-mail. The e-mail goes to the receiver inbox without the image or picture.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAm using Windows Mail v6 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and after I have sent a couple of email messages and then want to move the sent messages to relevant folders, my personal folders under the inbox together with the standard mail folders (i.e. outbox etc) have disappeared. I close Windows Mail and open again and the relevant folders still do not appear. Only once I have restarted my pc will the folders then appear. It is most frustrating. I am running the latest home version of AVG Anti Virus.

On the left, next to the inbox tab it says I have (12) new messages however the main screen is blank and says "there are no items in this view". It isn't showing any of the unread messages OR the read messages I have saved in my inbox. It keeps recieving emails as this morning I only had (4) new...now (12) however I cannot find them anywhere to read. I have checked all the settings and everything is the same??

I have checked my settings with the phishing on and junk set to low. AVG is set to scan both in and outgoing mail. View 5 Replies View RelatedJust two days ago my mail disappears on my screen from my inbox. I noticed that after the mailbox symbol appears open, the mail disappears until they are all gone. I searched for them and found them. I copied them all to my inbox so I could see them but then it did it again. Somewhere I saw that they are all there in my inbox, I just can't see them.
