when i download a torrent in the bottom of the screen shows me a yellow sign and then a red sign in the yellow telling connection problems and in the red not connectable but it still downloads...what kind of problem is this and how can it be solved?????
View 9 RepliesI have a Vista 64 OS on an HP m9100z computer. It has an internal card reader. The reader used to work fine. But now (have live update on) the Card reader does not work properly. The reader is detected but with the yellow warning sign. When I plug in a card it does not show up in the drives and the warning sign would still be displayed. Removing the drivers and rebooting did not change the issue. But if I remove the driver and plug in a card and redetect or reboot while the card is in the reader it works properly. Any idea what is happening. The reader is an HP 10 in 1 reader.

Came to download bitlord now that wont work, and i cant install a lot of my girlfriends sims expansions etc.

The computer is still running but not the screen. The only thing to do it hold the on off button on the tower and reboot. This happened a few times, and I was going to contact my supplier. to shed some light on it for me. I am running, Vista Business 32bit. Everything had been working fine, but without any changes to hardware, software or drivers I now have resolution problems. Firstly, when I boot my pc up it all goes well until just after the ???Windows Vista??? logo at the bottom of the screen comes up (during boot) the monitor goes into standby mode. Now the only way I have found to get my monitor out of this is to unplug the DVI cable from the back of my tower and plug in back in. The monitor then runs as normal ??? SO THATS ONE PROBLEM. Secondly, when the above problem first happened (and this is still happening) my resolution is stuffed. My monitor can go up to 1680x1050 and my Video Card can easily handle this. (Which it had been doing). But now I can only achieve 1024 x 768.
I commonly get a blue screen. So how do I solve this problem 2ndly, whenever I play music on my WMP, the computer may just hang on me, giving all but zzzz buzzes and the whole screen shows lines.

We tried to go into the safe mode but the only screen we get is his password sign on screen. Even during boot we pressed f8 key but the password screen came up. However programs i already had on my hdd install fine. I have not yet had time to test a 64 bit native app to see if it installs fine, but all the programs i try and fail to run once downloaded are on the compatibility list.

My buddy was bringing over some files for me on his laptop hdd running xp. I plugged it into my vista x64 computer via usb and I am having a few issues. The hdd shows up in My Computer and shows stuff in it but when I open it, it says that the folder is empty. I whent to Vistas disk manager and it shows everything is fine with the hdd but for some reason the files just wont show up.

Verify the item's location and try again."* The problem is that the actual file doesn't exist on my computer any more but it still shows up when I search for it from the start menu. Vista doesn't let me delete or rename it.

I have Vista Ultimate x64 and i have a problem. If you look in the picture you see all programs in yellow box. I go to the programs in yellow box, i click them and it should dissapear but it doesn't. And the new program that i install aren't in yellow box. What should i do? I think Brink know
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a small yellow triangle over many of my program short cut icons on my desktop. I click the program and can not tell why the triagle is there. The programs seem to run okay.
When I go to control pannel-device manager, I have no triagles over any hardware, same if I go into my programs in the hard drive.
It looks like about half the icons on my desk top have this little triagle over them, such as my short cut "network Sharing center" "Webcam Companion" "iexplorer shortcut" "windows update" and a few other programs I have short cuts on the desk top for.
I am using Vista Home premium 64 bit.
I found this today in my device manager. ISATAP adapter 3 with yellow indicating problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed Photoshop CS3 today on Vista x64 Ultimate and gave it whizz to see if it worked ok - which it did - but i noticed that the start menu headings for the Photoshop programs are highlighted in yellow. Here's a screen grab:
The thing is, when i right-click on the yellow highlights to send the Photoshop icon to my desktop as a shortcut, i get no menu just the Aero mouse cursor rotating for a split-second and then the right-click doesn't work at all nor the shut-down button doesn't work! Now, i got the program off a mate who assured me it was from an original disc, but now i'm not too sure as it has all the hallmarks of a copy with a dodgy attachment - and no, i didn't see the disc in question as i just transfered the data from a folder on his drive onto a USB pen.
jpg pictures have a yellow tint in the default viewer in Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Small previews in Windows Explorer do not have that tint.
